YOU ARE BIDDING ON A 1992 FORD THUNDERBIRD SUPER COUPE 3.8L SC. I AM THE SECOND OWNER OF THIS VEHICLE. I HAD THE CAR PAINTED LAST YEAR PROFESSIONALLY BY THE FORD DEALER I WORK AT. THE PAINT CODE IS UG - PLATINUM WHITE PEARL METALLIC. IT IS A TRI COAT PEARL, VERY PRETTY COLOR. THE ONLY ISSUE WITH THE CAR IS THAT THE DASHBOARD ON THE PASSENGERS SIDE IS CRACKED. I HAVE A MINT CONDITION DASHBOARD THAT IS INCLUDED WITH THE CAR IF YOU CHOOSE TO FIX IT. I BOUGHT THE CAR WITH BLOWN HEAD GASKETS. WHILE WORKING AT FORD AS A TECHNICIAN I REPLACED BOTH CYLINDER HEADS, USED ARP RACING HEAD STUDS AND FASTENERS. THE BOTTOM END DID NOT GET AFFECTED BY THE HEAD GASKETS BEING BLOWN. THE ENGINE RUNS EXCELLENT. IT ALSO HAD A BLOW AOD4 AUTOMATIC ORIGINALLY, I ENDED UP PUTTING A M5R2 5 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND PEDAL ASSEMBLY DIRECT FIT INTO THE CAR FROM A DONOR T-BIRD I OWNED. THE CAR IS IN GREAT SHAPE AND IS LOOKING FOR A GOOD HOME AND OWNER TO DRIVE IT. I DO NOT HAVE THE NEED FOR A TWO DOOR CAR ANYMORE BECAUSE THE FAMILY IS GETTING BIGGER. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS PLEASE FEEL FREE TO MESSAGE ME. I ONLY ACCEPT BANK CASHIERS CHECKS OR PAYPAL. LOCAL PICK UP ONLY. HAPPY BIDDING!

Next Shelby Mustang to wear GT350 nameplate
Fri, 21 Jun 2013Earlier this month, rumors started to swirl 'round the web about the next-generation Ford SVT Mustang - the halo version of the all-new 2015 'Stang seen testing in the gallery above. Originally, we heard that the Shelby GT500 moniker would be dumped in favor of "a name you're familiar with," which some sources guessed could mean a return of the Cobra nameplate.
That might not be correct. According to Road & Track, citing a report from Mustangs Daily, the new range-topping Mustang will bring back the Shelby GT350 name - currently used on an aftermarket version of Ford's Pony produced by Shelby American (take a look at our recent Quick Spin of that car). Expect the new GT350 to be quite a bit different than the current GT500 - it will be all motor, using a V8 that's derived from the naturally aspirated 5.0-liter Coyote engine (though it will no doubt have a higher displacement). The GT350 will be a lot more powerful than the next Mustang GT, which is expected to offer something like 450 horsepower, but won't be quite as absurd as the 662-horsepower GT500 we currently enjoy.
The Shelby GT350 will reportedly bow with the rest of the new Mustang range at the 2014 New York Auto Show, which coincides exactly with the original Mustang's debut at the New York World's Fair in 1964. If that seems far out, don't worry, we'll be seeing the rest of the 2015 Mustang range before then, but Road & Track reports that the 2014 Detroit Auto Show stage will be reserved for the reveal of the next Ford F-150 pickup.
Hennessey showcases F-250 VelociRaptor SUV
Mon, Jun 29 2015With automakers embracing smaller and smaller crossovers with each passing year, it'd be all too easy to forget about the Ford Excursion. Bigger than the Expedition (or just about anything else on or off the road), the Excursion was based on Ford's Super Duty truck chassis to put even the likes of the Chevy Suburban, Nissan Armada, and Toyota Sequoia to shame. It ceased production ten years ago now, but Hennessey is bringing it back – sort of. Feast your eyes on the Hennessey VelociRaptor SUV. The design calls for a very fullsize, truck-based sport-ute based on the Ford F-250. Only instead of a pickup bed, it's got four proper side doors and a covered cargo bay with a pair of barn doors at the back. Hennessey will fit it with three rows of seats to accommodate seven or eight passengers, and of course it'll offer a range of upgraded engines as well. What starts out with a 6.2-liter V8 producing 411 horsepower can be supercharged all the way up to 600 or even 650 horses. For those who don't want to spend their life's savings at the pump... well, this probably isn't the right choice of automobile, but Hennessey will offer an enhanced 6.7-liter PowerStroke diesel with 440 hp and 880 pound-feet of stump-pullin' muscle. Naturally there'll be other visual and mechanical upgrades on offer as well, but none of this will come cheap – or fast for that matter. Hennessey will take six months to put one together, and demand nearly $160,000 for the conversion.
Ford reflects on radical Mustang concept that never reached showrooms
Tue, 25 Jun 2013The Ford Mustang that we all know and love made major waves in the auto industry way back in 1964 by offering style and reasonable pricing with optional V8 power. Its long hood and short rear deck, combined with a low-slung and sporty cockpit, made a lasting impression in the minds of consumers and car designers alike, and its basic shape has so endured the test of time that it's still in use today.
This being the case, you may be interested to know that the first Mustang of 1964.5 wasn't actually the first Mustang at all, being preceded by a concept car that made its public debut in 1962. This concept was nothing like the car that would eventually make it into production, with a radical wedge shape and a small V4 engine sitting behind the car's two occupants, driving the rear wheels. In other words, the conceptual Mustang was pretty much the complete opposite of the production Mustang besides the name.
Ford has kindly decided go through its massive archive to bring the original Mustang concept back into the public eye. The company goes so far as to pose this question to fans of the pony car: "Should we borrow a few of these style elements for the next iteration of the Mustang?" Check out our image gallery above and then let 'em know what you think in the Comments below.
