FOR SALE - 1962 Ford Thunderbird
A 72k mile unmolested and original car
Powerful 390 V8 engine and automatic transmission in good running and driving condititon.
The doors, the trunk and the hood line up like new. All seams are very straight and car has no rusted through areas except under the right door (see photo).
Floors are solid
Power Windows, power brakes, power steering all work as they should.
Red leather seats, dash and interior look great as well as the glass and trim.
Chrome is straight and shines bright. Has original skirts, working am radio and non working factory a/c.
This car can be driven anywhere, looks really nice and always gets compliments for it's originality.
Somewhere over the years a poor repaint have cause some chips, cracks and bubbling and will need attention as well as some minor trim pitting. We believe the owner of this originial car will appreciate us selling in current condition without new paint.

2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost flogged and analyzed by Ignition
Mon, 13 Oct 2014Aside from the way it looks and perhaps its independent rear suspension, the biggest bit of news on the 2015 Mustang may be the inclusion of its 2.3-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine. That blown mill marks the first time since the Mustang SVO of the '80s that a turbo has been fitted under the engine of Ford's pony car.
The Mustang EcoBoost is the subject of the latest episode of Ignition from Motor Trend, giving us a great look at the technical, nitty-gritty side of the turbocharged coupe. Covering it from bow to stern, host Carlos Lago walks us through the boosted Ford before taking to the track for some driving impressions, with particular praise given to the low-end grunt of the 2.3-liter mill.

eBay Find of the Day: Mk1 Ford GT40 with interesting history
Sat, 03 May 2014You might expect a rare Ford GT40 to cross the block at some sort of prestigious auto auction from RM or Gooding, not show up on eBay for over $2 million. However, that's exactly what we have here. The seller claims the car is a late-build Mk1 GT40 from 1969, and it's currently owned by the director of the Hublot watch company in Switzerland.
According to the listing, GT40 #P1108 started life as Mk1 car that was built from factory spares in 1969 and was first sold in 1971. However, the auction is somewhat confusing. According to an image in its gallery, the vehicle was actually built from one of the seven spare Mk3 tubs when production of the iconic racers ended.
This GT40 was never built as a racecar - it lived on the streets its whole life. After assembly finished, it was sent to Germany and was eventually registered for the road. The first owner kept the car until 2005 and sold it with 7,300 miles on the odometer. The current owner bought it in 2012.
