I purchased this car from an antique car dealership in Denver Colorado about 2 years ago. I’ve put less than 300 miles on it since purchased. I’m 6’3, and 300 plus lbs. which is too much man for this car!!! I’ve decided to sell to fund other projects. Car has been garage kept since purchased. It remains in excellent condition both inside and out with very few flaws. Since purchasing the car I’ve rebuilt the starter, changed back to original points system, and touched up paint. The few blemishes were minor dings and scratches. The paint is beautiful factory torch red and in great overall shape. All chrome is in good condition. I have not done enough research to know if this is a numbers matching car or not, nor do I expect it to bring in the 30k plus range as a numbers car in the shape would command. It is however numbers correct with 292 V8 with correct 3 speed fordomatic transmission. Car runs and drives out wonderfully! Does not have factory hard top and soft top has a few small tears as pictures will show. I believe a good upholstery shop could easily fix them. As I mentioned earlier I am not the original owner of the car, but please feel free to ask any questions. I will do my best to answer. Ford and 'Dirty Jobs' pitchman Mike Rowe part ways [w/videos]

Former Dirty Jobs host Mike Rowe has one less job as of today - the pitchman is no longer a pitchman for Ford, with yesterday's announcement from Rowe ending a seven-year partnership between the TV host and the Blue Oval.
Rowe made the announcement to political pundit Glenn Beck, saying the two are "going in different directions" and wishing Ford "every possibly success that any car company could ever have," according to The Detroit News. Rowe and Ford got together in 2005, right around the time the 51-year-old came to prominence as the host of Dirty Jobs and the narrator for Deadliest Catch, two of the Discovery Channel's most popular shows.

2015 Galpin Ford GTR1

Last year in Monterey, we met GTR1 for the first time. Galpin Auto Sports pulled the wraps off its Ford GT-based supercar, powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.4-liter V8 good for a whopping 1,024 horsepower and 739 pound-feet of torque. The thing was totally custom-made and reportedly took some 12,000 man hours to create. And there it sat on the Pebble Beach grass, $1,000,000-plus price tag and all.
This year, the Galpin was back, albeit with one big change. That twin-turbo engine? Gone. In its place, a 5.4-liter V8 with a 4.0-liter Whipple supercharger bolted on, delivering an astonishing 1,058 hp and 992 lb-ft of torque on 110-octane fuel. 0-60? 2.9 seconds. Top speed? Somewhere above 225 miles per hour.
"Some things to keep in mind: no stability control, no traction control," were the only warnings given by Galpin's Brandon Boeckmann before taking me on a quick spin in the supercar. And after having my eyes thrown into the back of my skull a few times, laughing hysterically and trying to regain full use of my hearing after my ear drums being bombarded by the apocalyptic roar behind me, Brandon pulled over and said it was my turn, if I was ready to take the wheel.
