Thanks for stopping to take a look at my auction! I have up for sale, my 1993 Ford Taurus SHO. I would assume most of you viewing this, already know what this car is, and for the rest of you, this is a Taurus on Steroids!!! These cars are getting harder to find, let alone in this condition, and will only appreciate in value.

Finished in Deep Jewel Green that shows well for the age with Black leather, this is 1 of only 545 examples produced in this color combination. With just 107,XXX miles, it is also a rare survivor!!!

It starts, runs and shifts all gears like it should. Started in -20 weather this winter with no problems. There are no dash warning lights on. This was my dream car since I was younger, and a new daughter has completely changed my priorities. Adult driven and owned, there have been no performance enhancements. It's just like you would have got it from Ford 21 years ago. I am listing this with no reserve as I cannot afford to keep it, and hope the new owner will treat this car the way it deserves.

As many SHO models are, this vehicle is loaded with power options.

Including but not limited to:

Power Windows
Power Locks
Cruise Control
Automatic Climate Control (Unit was replaced with the 95 hard button EATC) so no broken buttons many of these cars have.
AM/FM CD with JBL premium sound. (Subwoofer speaker was also replaced)
Automatic Dimming Lights
Power Moonroof
Power Seats with Lumbar and Bolster Support.
Remote Keyless Entry
Keypad Keyless Entry
Rear Defrost

This interior in this car is VERY CLEAN for the age. The seats show very little signs of wear. 3 of the original floor mats are included (lost drivers side) As a known problem with these cars, the EATC had been replaced with the '95 hard button model (no broken buttons!!) Also, due to time and age, the factory JBL subwoofer had been replaced with a new Pyle woofer, and sounds great! All power options also work. The power moonroof is a little slow, but I do have a new motor that will be included with the sale.

The exterior is clean as well, with the exception of a tiny amount of surface rust and some light scrapes on the right rear quarter panel. (Local Bodyman Quoted me $300 to fix)

BRAND NEW tires were just installed with tie rod ends and rear struts. The car has not been aligned since, and that's something that new buyer would want done, along with front struts in the near future.

I am adding alot of pictures, since they can tell so much more than I can. If anyone has questions, please Ask the Seller a Question on eBay, or you can contact me @ 712-579-4016

Shipping is responsibility of the new buyers, however I can either work with a shipping company or contact me for a rate to your location. If you would like to fly in and drive it home, I can also arrange to pick you up. Omaha, NE  Des Moines,IA and Sioux City, IA are fairly close airports.

Clear title for this car

I am very hesitant to sell this, however I cannot afford to licence and insure so many vehicles.

Ford Mustang Mach-E fails Sweden's moose test

Wed, Sep 29 2021

The infamous moose test has claimed another casualty. This time it's the Ford Mustang Mach-E AWD Long Range, which was tested in an electric four-way alongside the Tesla Model Y, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Skoda Enyaq iV (an electric utility vehicle closely related to the Volkswagen ID.4 that is sold in the United States). According to the Swedish testers at Teknikens Varld, Ford's electric car not only failed to hit the speed necessary for a passing grade, it didn't perform well at slower speeds, either. To pass the outlet's moose test, a car has to complete a rapid left-right-straight S-shaped pattern marked by cones at a speed of at least 72 km/h (44.7 miles per hour). The test is designed to mimic the type of avoidance maneuver a driver would have to take in order to avoid hitting something that wandered into the road, which in Sweden may be a moose but could just as easily be a deer or some other member of the animal kingdom elsewhere in the world, or possibly a child or car backing into the motorway. Not only is the maneuver very aggressive, it's also performed with weights belted into each seat and more weight added to the cargo area to hit the vehicle's maximum allowable carrying capacity. The Mustang Mach-E only managed to complete the moose test at 68 km/h (42.3 mph), well below the passing-grade threshold. Even at much lower speeds, Teknikens Varld says the Mach-E (which boasts the highest carrying capacity and was therefore loaded with more weight than the rest of the vehicles tested in this quartet) is "too soft in the chassis" and suffers from "too slow steering." Proving that it is indeed possible to pass the test, the Hyundai and Skoda completed the maneuver at the 44.7-mph figure required for a passing grade and the Tesla did it at 46.6 mph, albeit with less weight in the cargo area. It's not clear whether other versions of the Mustang Mach-E would pass the test. It's also unknown if Ford will make any changes to its chassis tuning or electronic stability control software, as some other automakers have done after a poor performance from Teknikens Varld, to improve its performance in the moose test. Saab-powered Ford is the most unlikely drift car we've seen

Tue, Jan 19 2016

Yes, you read that headline correctly. It's supposed to be a Saab-powered Ford, and not the other way around (although we fully support the notion of a Sonnet with a Flathead V8). Apparently, some lunatic in the UK took an ass-less 1953 Ford Anglia, paired it with a turbocharged Saab engine, and tuned the entire thing to go drifting. We like it. Called Urchfab, it's the subject of Carfection's (the blokes formerly known as XCar) latest video. Aside from looking like an extra from the British version of Mad Max, it has a problem with grip, in that there's just too much of it. This car is a fabber's dream, as we get to see its unnamed owner fashion new bits and bobs for the suspension before having an unfortunate encounter with a wall at Castle Combe. You can check out the full video up at the top of the page for a closer look at this monstrous Anglia. Related Video:
