Selling my very nice 05 Reg Cab Ranger. A purpose built little truck with the gas saving 2.3 litre 4 cylinder engine. Only 127,680 mi. which is still plenty of life in this little engine.

It's an ex-power company truck, fleet serviced and maintained. Has new shocks and brand new tires. The A/C blows cold, and it drives down the road straight and true. No problematic "airbag" or "check engine" light that others you come across almost always have. Interior is very clean with vinyl mats and seats. Drivers has small tear (see pic). It does have some minor scratches and few small dents, but its a 100% true work truck with lockable toolbox and hitch.

As they say, pictures speak a thousand words, so browse them over and decide if you would like to place a bid. We are a husband and wife team with very good feedback here on the" bay". This would be our 3rd vehicle sold here. If you have any questions or would like more detailed pictures, please let us know and we'll be glad to help! A non-refundable deposit of $800 is due after auction end, to show you are serious about your winning purchase. No, we will not hold it for you till you get paid or any other type of flim-flam.,..We don't have time for it.

And last of all, let's be adults out there, If you can't bid, please don't.

Ford F-150 King Ranch celebrates 'history and authenticity' for 2015 [w/video]

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

What's life like on an authentic Texas ranch? We honestly have no idea, having never lived on such a ranch, but we imagine it requires lots of hard work, grit and determination to keep all 825,000 acres - that's larger than the state of Rhode Island - of the King Ranch in Texas under control. Indeed, a total of 350 vehicles, all of which come from Ford, we're told, are currently in use by the ranch. No wonder, then, that the collaboration between Ford and King Ranch has lasted for 15 successful years.
For 2015, in celebration of that 15th anniversary, Ford is debuting three new King Ranch models today at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The most significant is the 2015 F-150 King Ranch, which, naturally, will add unique interior and exterior bits and pieces to the new aluminum-intensive F-Series pickup. Color choices will consist of Caribou, Bronze Fire, Guard and Ruby Red Metallic Clearcoat, with a range of two-tones to go along with a monochromatic scheme in Caribou. Inside, a bespoke King Ranch interior will be swathed in Premium Mesa Brown leather.
Joining the F-150 King Ranch on dealership floors later this year will be 2015 King Ranch editions of the Super Duty pickup and Expedition fullsize SUV, all of which will offer similar levels of content. Scroll down for more details and two videos from Ford, and be sure to check out the high-res image gallery above, which was shot by the official State Photographer of Texas, Wyman Meinzer.

Ex-PR chief Vines accuses Ford of bugging cars, phones

Fri, 24 Oct 2014

Jason Vines, former head of communications at Ford among other automakers, is accusing the Blue Oval of bugging his company phone and his car during the Firestone tire recall for the Explorer in 2001. The allegations have come to light in Vines' upcoming book What Did Jesus Drive? Crisis PR in Cars, Computers and Christianity.
According to The Detroit News, which has an advance copy of the book, Vines (pictured above) claims that after leaving the company, someone with security within Ford advised him that he had been bugged around the time of the recall. The allegations don't stop there, though. Vines further contends that he might not have been the only one to get this treatment, noting that then-general counsel John Rintamaki also believed he was being listened to.
According to The Detroit News, even if it had been a company phone, recording Vines without his knowledge still would have been a felony under Michigan law.
