87 Ford Ranger Super-Cab STX 4x4, with 50,xxx actual 3 owner miles. Bought new in Arizona and has only been in the midwest for about a year - no rust or paint work ever! All records from new including $15,000 plus window sticker. The STX option included a factory 2" lift over the standard 4x4 Ranger. 2.9 FI V-6 with 5 speed, 4 wheel drive with electronic shift Hi-Lo ranges (overhead console shift). PS, PDB, Cruise Control, Tilt Wheel, Cold AC, Power Windows and Locks, AM-FM Cass stereo - 4 spkrs. Factory floor mats, Michelin tires (50%) on original aluminum rims (no corrosion) and lazer stripes (90%). 20-22 mpg, new battery, starter, valve cover gaskets, plugs, O2 sensor, IAControl. Underside is 100% rust free. Paint is medium tan lightly faded but in very good condition very straight body - Interior is tan cloth and immaculate (power air lumbar on drivers seat - works but leaks down), dash mat, bed mat and factory roll bar - also have factory grill guard not mounted. 100% original except for custom pistol grip shifter knob (have original).

Ford looks back on 50 years of the Mustang in Detroit
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Ford has something special sitting in its booth here at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. In fact, it brought two special somethings in the form of the Ford Mustang 1 Concept that first saw the light of day in 1962 and the very first production Mustang that rolled off the production line in 1964.
These classic creations are sharing floor space with the brand-new 2014 Mustang in honor of the pony car's 50th Anniversary. Since Ford's latest 'Stang already made its auto show debut (at a number of locations, including Los Angeles), we think it's pretty cool that the Blue Oval did something special for its home-town show.

Are you the next Ford Edge? [UPDATE]
Wed, 13 Feb 2013What looks to be the next Ford Edge has been leaked in an apparent corporate Powerpoint presentation deck. Despite the thumbnail image's blurry and pixelated quality, it appears as if the next generation crossover will be staying close to its current aesthetic despite an all-new front clip with redesigned grille, headlamps, and lower fascia with integrated fog lights.
The upscale-minded Blue Oval CUV is due for a redesign in 2015, having just received a mid-cycle refresh for 2011. It isn't clear what changes lie beneath the new skin, either in terms of mechanicals or interior refinement, but we suspect Ford will be looking to put some distance between the next generation model and the new Escape, which is suddenly much more car-like and not that far off the more expensive Edge in terms of overall size, power or refinement.

2014 Ford Transit Connect Taxi hopes to fare thee well
Mon, 23 Sep 2013New York City may have selected its taxi of tomorrow, but there are still plenty of municipalities across the US with citizens that depend on yellow livery cars to get them across town in a jiffy. That's why Ford is going ahead with this, the new Transit Connect Taxi.
Based on the 2014 Transit Connect, the TC Taxi boasts a number of features designed to make the compact van appeal to discerning taxi drivers and their fares, with the most notable upgrade being a standardized prep package to convert the 2.5-liter four to run on liquefied petroleum or compressed natural gas. The clean-burning fuel options will allow operators to save on fuel costs and cut down on pollution without sacrificing performance.
A lower load floor and a new twist-beam rear suspension are meant to improve the riding experience for passengers, while the longer 2014 Transit Connect sports extra cargo space as well. In addition to the CNG/LPG conversion, the Transit Connect Taxi can also be easily modified for wheelchair access. Drivers, meanwhile, will have access to optional goodies like Sync with MyFord Touch and a rear-view camera.
