This Ford F-650 has been stored in a temperature-controlled garage and is in excellent condition with extremely low miles. Custom built by Blue Diamond which was an entity owned by Ford and Navistar until 2016. This truck was built with Ford Genuine Engineered factory parts. It has been detailed regularly, never abused and has never been in mud or water. This 4x4 truck is several steps above others similar to it and is loaded with tons of top-of-the-line parts and accessories. These trucks were never mass produced as a 4X4. This one was special ordered this way from a Ford Dealership in Colorado for a professional athlete. It will soon be the envy of everyone around you as you tower over your friends, family and neighbors. It is powered by a 6 Cylinder Caterpillar Accert C7-Allison (custom programmed and deleted to add more power and better fuel economy) Automatic Push-Button Transmission-Engine Block Heater-Haldex Air Ride Self-Leveling Cab with Rancho Shocks-Air Brakes-Bendix Air Dryer-Spicer Differentials-Rear Model RD404 Ratio 5.29 -Locking Front Diff with FABCO hubs -GoodYear Airbags-FoxShocks -Fiberglass Tilting Front End -16.5ti Warn Winch -GVW: 26000 -Rear air suspension with ability to deflate for loading -Single fuel Tank -Remote mounted jump start stud terminal-Locking Tailgate -GoodYear Super Single G178 445/65R22.5 Tires -Viper alarm with Smart start remote start which will allow you to monitor the alarm and start the truck anywhere in the world with your cell phone -The interior has been completely stripped out and had sound deadening applied inside the entire cab -New Genuine Ford Lariat seats were installed with brand new leather, new carpet and new upgraded dash. -A top of the line award winning stereo system has been installed by Earmark Car Audio including (4) JL audio 10" subwoofers built in a custom sub enclosure behind the rear seat, 8 Focal Component speakers also installed in the cab all powered by (2) JL Audio Digital amplifiers and controlled by an 8" Alpine touch screen in the dash. 2015 Ford F-Series Super Duty Power Stroke

Tue, 29 Jul 2014

What weighs 30,000 pounds? Big Ben's Westminster bell. A navy ship anchor. Or as we found out during our first drive program for the 2015 Ford F-Series Super Duty, seven pallets of cinder blocks loaded onto a dual-axle gooseneck trailer. The test was part of a raft of towing demonstrations that showcased the new Super Duty's impressive tug capacity, which maxes out at 32,100 pounds. That's 1,200 more than its nearest rival, the Ram 3500, when equipped with its upgraded 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel V8. Such is the heavy-duty pickup truck business, a diesel-fueled game of one-upmanship with only three players: Ford, Chevrolet/GMC and Ram. And in this game, the one with the most torque wins.
Until 2014, Ford was the one to beat, with its 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel bringing 400 hp and a massive 800 lb-ft of torque to the table. Then last year, Ram did exactly that, serving Ford with a beefed-up Cummins turbodiesel inline-six in its freshened Ram Heavy Duty truck line with 385 hp and 850 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to tow up to 30,000 pounds. But Ford claims it had designed its engine to be relatively easy to upgrade when the time called for it, so for 2015, Ford bolted a larger turbo to the Power Stroke, bringing output to an insane 440 hp and 860 lb-ft of twist, all without reducing fuel efficiency. Maximum tow capacity rises from 24,700 lbs to an incredible 31,200 lbs for the F-450 dually.
As for GM's HDs? They lag behind the lot with their 6.6-liter Duramax V-8, producing 397 hp and 765 lb-ft of torque. Yeah, you know things are serious when the trucks with 765 lb-ft are the knock-kneed wimps of the lot.

Ford Fiesta ST in startling track battle against Toyota GT86

Wed, 26 Jun 2013

On the surface, there's very little that the Ford Fiesta ST and Toyota GT86 (or the Scion FR-S that is sold in the US, or the largely similar Subaru BRZ) share in common. One is a hatchback with power coming from a turbocharged engine routed to the front wheels. The other is a coupe with power coming from a naturally aspirated four-cylinder boxer engine routed to the rear wheels.
Thing is, both of them are reasonably priced performance cars aimed at a similar segment of the automotive marketplace, so a comparison isn't out of the question. It is with all of this in mind that we direct you to the video below, in which the blokes from Evo pit the two manic little machines against one another on a race track. The result? Well, it can be summed up this way: Fast versus fun.
See how the track battle goes down in the video below.

Ford F-150 RaptorTrax is Ken Block's ultimate snowmobile

Tue, 21 Jan 2014

Even when Ken Block isn't starring in the latest Gymkhana video or tearing up Global RallyCross courses, he's finding new ways to redefine "awesome" as it applies to motorsports. For evidence of this, look no further than Block's latest Monster-badged creation, the Ford F-150 RaptorTrax.
Billed as the "world's fastest snowcat," the RaptorTrax started life as a Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, and then a set of Mattracks were put in place where the truck's bead-locked wheels and meaty rubber once resided. The goal was to create a truck that made it easier - and presumably more fun - for Block and his buddies to hit the slopes on their snowboards. Aside from the obvious track upgrades, this truck also received a Whipple supercharger, full roll cage, Recaro seats, an in-bed snowboard rack, a roof basket and a rear-mounted winch - you know, just in case something or someone actually manages to get this truck stuck.
The RaptorTrax will be on display later this week at the Winter X Games in Apsen, CO, but we'll have to wait until next winter for a full Block-worthy video of the truck. A full press release from Hoonigan Racing Division is posted below, and a high-res image can be found by clicking above.
