THIS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL 1966 MUSTANG IS FULLY RESTORED .THE CAR WAS A VERY CLEAN ORIGINAL 70000 MILE CAR PRIOR TO RESTORATION . THE REBUILT 200 6 CYLINDER HAS 12000 MILES . THAT IS A TOTAL OF 82000 LIFETIME MILES ON THE CAR .THAT IS WHAT THE ODOMETER READS AND THAT IS WHAT THE CLEAR NEW JERSEY TITLE READS. THIS IS A 2 OWNER CAR .ABOUT AS GOOD AS IT GETS
WE HAVE OVER $ 11000.00 INVESTED IN THE CAR .THAT IS A TOP TO BOTTOM RESTORATION COMPLETE WITH PONY INTERIOR . WE THOUGHT WE HAD THE CAR HIGH AND DRY FOR HURRICANE SANDY . WE DID NOT .THE WATER ON THE RIVER ROSE MUCH HIGHER THAN ANYONE HAD ANTICIPATED . THE CAR GOT FLOODED . WE QUICKLY TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THE RESTORATION SHOP WHERE THEY DID A PROCESS WITH FRESH WATER FOLLOWED BY RUST INHIBITOR .THE FLUIDS WERE DRAINED AND REPLACED . THE STARTER WAS REPLACED .THEY STARTED THE CAR ,RAN IT TO MAKE SURE IT WAS ALL MECHANICALLY OK. (((( IT IS !!THE MOTOR STARTS IDLES AND RUNS GREAT AS IT ALWAYS HAS , THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTH ))))) I HAVE A VIDEO OFTHE CAR RUNNING AND SHIFTING IF ANYONE CARES TO SEE IT .
THE RESTORATION SHOP GAVE ME A PRICE TO REPLACE THE NECESSARY ITEMS TO PUT THE CAR BACK IN PRE FLOOD CONDITION.
THE WORK REQUIRED IS A NEW WIRING HARNESS ,ALTERNATOR,FUSE PANEL,AND SOME MISC PARTS AND NEW CARPET , THEN REINSTALL SEATS ETC..

Ford looks back on 50 years of the Mustang in Detroit
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Ford has something special sitting in its booth here at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. In fact, it brought two special somethings in the form of the Ford Mustang 1 Concept that first saw the light of day in 1962 and the very first production Mustang that rolled off the production line in 1964.
These classic creations are sharing floor space with the brand-new 2014 Mustang in honor of the pony car's 50th Anniversary. Since Ford's latest 'Stang already made its auto show debut (at a number of locations, including Los Angeles), we think it's pretty cool that the Blue Oval did something special for its home-town show.

Ken Block proves the new Ford Focus RS can handle that Gymkhana thing
Wed, Feb 4 2015Oh Ford, you've already done a lot for us today, introducing the bound-for-America Focus RS and all. But then you go ahead and add onto this day of good news by handing a prototype of the new all-wheel-drive rocket to drift maestro Ken Block and capture it all on video. Block does his usual, slipping and sliding and drifting the over-315-horsepower hot hatchback through Ford's Cologne, Germany factory, before making a final and surprising appearance at the unveiling of the new RS to European media. It's all as entertaining as it sounds, and gives us plenty of chances to hear the 2.3-liter EcoBoost at full bellow. Related Video:
