VIN# 1ZVBP8CF9C5216355
Mileage: 25,071

I have an extended service plan tied to this car’s VIN# that extends warranty to 5 years/75,000 miles, with only a $100 deductible.  The car is also under a bumper-to-bumper warranty for 3 years/36,000 miles and a powertrain warranty of 5 years/60,000 miles.

This car has been very well taken care of, and it sits in a garage when not being driven. NON-smoker, no food eaten in the car, never been abused. There's nothing wrong with the car, it runs great and looks good. The car is pretty much stock, with a few modifications listed below:

  • Roush Axle Back Exhaust - $469.99
  • Flip Down License Plate Holder (Motorized) - $129.99
  • 5.0 Emblem Black Floor Mats - $104.99
  • 245/45/19 Cooper Zeon All Season Tires - $760
  • Window Tint (Computer Cut, High Quality) - $160

The tires are high quality (huge upgrade over the stock Pirelli Tires), and they were purchased February 6, 2014. They have an estimated 3,500 miles on them, and they look new.

I do also have the factory stock exhaust that came with the car, and I might consider throwing it in with the price of the car.

The car is running Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic oil, and the oil has always been changed regularly.

I have the car's Texas title in my hand with my name on it, it is fully paid off and the title is clear. I will be driving this car while it is up for sale, so the mileage will go up slightly. I will be limiting the miles I put on it, so it should be very close to the mileage listed. I just recently got married and my wife isn't comfortable driving manual, so I need to sell this car so I can buy something else.

Please do not waste my time with low-ball offers. I'm a patient seller, and I will wait until I get the right price for it. You will not be disappointed with this car, it is the best sounding car in town (Roush Exhaust), and it's a LOT of fun to drive. My cell phone number is (9O3) 495 - 8664. Feel free to text me or call me between 7 am and 9 pm. You may also email me.

Focus RS shreds in prep for Goodwood hillclimb

Tue, Jun 23 2015

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is rapidly becoming a second home for Ford's hottest versions of the Focus. Last year, the updated Focus ST and high-performance diesel debuted there, and this year the motoring event has been selected to show off the new 2016 Focus RS. To get a little exercise before speeding up the hill climb, the Blue Oval unleashed its upcoming hyper hatch on a Belgian test track. Based on this clip, Ford's test driver has absolutely no problem whatsoever in making the Focus RS slide, at least with the stability and traction control off. Interestingly, while the RS shares its 2.3-liter EcoBoost with the latest Mustang, the Blue Oval's engineers give it a much different exhaust note here. Rather than a growling muscle car, this example has much more of the staccato bark of a rally-bred machine, which is a great fit. The all-wheel drive, 315-horsepower Focus RS should be arriving at dealers soon, and we're definitely looking forward to seeing and hearing it take on the Goodwood hill during the upcoming event. Dan Gurney, legendary all-American racer, dies at 86

Mon, Jan 15 2018

American racer Dan Gurney, who raced and won in Formula One, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, IndyCar and NASCAR in the 1960s and who started a trend by spraying champagne on the victory podium, died in California on Sunday. He was 86. The news was announced by his wife, Evi, and family in a statement. "With one last smile on his handsome face, Dan drove off into the unknown just before noon today, January 14, 2018," they said. "In deepest sorrow, with gratitude in our hearts for the love and joy you have given us during your time on this earth, we say, 'Godspeed.'" The family said Gurney, whose Formula One career spanned one of the most glamorous and dangerous periods of the sport's history from 1959 to 1970, had died of complications from pneumonia. He won seven IndyCar races, five in NASCAR and four in F1, placing second twice in the Indianapolis 500. He raced in multiple series concurrently throughout much of his career. He was the first of just three drivers to win races in four series — sports cars, Indycars, Formula One and NASCAR. The feat was later replicated by Mario Andretti and Joan Pablo Montoya. At the height of his popularity, in 1964, Car and Driver promoted the idea of electing him president. He retired from racing in 1970 but returned for a NASCAR race in 1980. Between 1965 and 2012, his All American Racers, which he founded with Carroll Shelby and Goodyear, built 158 race cars and is the only constructor to have built a winning F1 Grand Prix car, a winning Indy 500 car and a winning Sports Car. Ford reveals EcoBoost-powered Riley prototype for Daytona 24

Tue, 01 Oct 2013

It's not the first time Ford has participated in the Daytona Prototype class as an engine supplier, but in revealing this new EcoBoost V6-powered Riley Technologies prototype for the new United SportsCar Championship, Ford is making a statement: "We want to show Ford EcoBoost's capabilities as an engine that provides both performance and fuel economy, on and off the track," says Jamie Allison, director of Ford Racing.
In addition to supplying the 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6, Ford had its production designer Garen Nicoghosian give the racecar brand-inspired design cues with support from Ford Racing chief aerodynamicist Bernie Marcus.
The car is scheduled to compete at next year's Rolex 24 at Daytona on January 25-26, but before that, Michael Shank Racing is working with Ford at another goal. Driving his Ford Thunderbird, NASCAR champion Bill Elliott set the track's top speed record at 210.364 miles per hour during a qualifying run for the Daytona 500 - way back in 1987 -- and Ford thinks it's about time for that record to fall. What better time the introduction of this new Ford-powered Daytona Prototype? Michael Shank Racing plans to use the twin-turbo V6-powered racer to beat Elliott's record, and it expects to begin prepping for the top-speed run on October 9.
