This isn't your "Run of the Mill" Fox Body. This Mustang is perfect. It doesnt't see rain or any bad weather. I have OCD issues! Everything works and this car drives like a stock 5.0. This Mustang was tuned by Pete at Performance Dyno in Loudon NH. Pete is one of the best and the car runs perfect. On Pump Gas right off the Highway the car made 472 horsepower and 472 torque to the tire on a 150 shot of nitrous. All Motor it made 354 horsepower and 373 torque to the tire. I've gone through two bottles of nitrous since I put the kit in... Probably one of them was just messing around purging the nitrous. This is a no hit mustang with most of the original paint and VIN tags still placed on each body panel. This car goes down the highway straight with no rattles, squeaks or any nonsense at all. This October I got it to the track. I wasn't up there in years. Traction was a serious problem since it was cold as hell but even slipping and sliding down the track it was able to put down a 12.46 @ 119.55 letting off in between gear changes so that I didn't meet the wall. The car goes good and should be a solid mid 11 second car super safe and fun to drive once the track is in good shape come spring. This is one of the nicest fox body mustangs around and it is RARE in white with black cloth. Please don't email or call me with trades. I'm looking to free up garage space. If your looking for a PERFECT fox body mustang this is the car your looking for. IT'S DONE! Call or Text John with any questions or if you want to take a look. Please, serious buyers only. Thanks! 781-858-1009

2016 Ford Explorer revealed with new 2.3-liter EcoBoost

Wed, 19 Nov 2014

A 2.3L EcoBoost four-cylinder takes over where the old 2.0 left off, making 270 hp and 300 lb-ft.
Right now, around 23 percent of all Ford vehicles sold in the United States is a utility vehicle. By 2020, Ford expects that figure to increase all the way to 29 percent. Put simply, SUVs and crossovers are very big business at Ford. So, when it comes time to update the Explorer, Ford's original sport utility vehicle, you can be sure that a whole heck of a lot of effort goes into the process.

Ford to update Sync, MyFord Touch software... again

Wed, 07 Aug 2013

Ford hasn't had the best luck with its MyFord Touch and Sync systems, as the finicky infotainment system has been subject to a critical whooping while customer issues have helped sink Ford's IQS scores. The automaker has made a concerted effort, though, to try and fix MyFord Touch. And while the results have been mixed, The Blue Oval is hoping its latest free update, set to go live next week, will make things better.
According to a report from The Detroit News, the new system promises streamlined voice commands with fewer levels between opening query and actual result. Ford is also addressing where certain options are selected on the touchscreen. Rather than working one of the four quadrants on the homescreen, users will be able to select anywhere within the quadrant to make adjustments.
While it might only be a band-aid for MFT's problems, the fact that Ford is still trying to improve it is a promising sign. It's going to take more than just this update to address the system's ills, though.

2015 Ford F-150 shaves 700 pounds, adds 2.7-liter EcoBoost [w/video]

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

The Ford F-150 is one of the best selling vehicles on the planet. Considering that, one can imagine that when it comes time for a redesign, there are hardly any half measures. For its lucky thirteenth generation, Ford has gone all-in on the single most important vehicle in its portfolio, redesigning it from the ground up.
The big news is the F-150's new, lightweight, Atlas-inspired body. Ninety-three percent of that new body is made from a sort of aluminum alloy not unlike what the US military uses in its M2 Bradley fighting vehicles and Humvees, and it accounts for up to 70 percent of the F-150's 700-pound weight reduction. As a side benefit, the aluminum body should prove more resistant to dents and dings. Built Ford tough, indeed.
If you're wondering where the other 30 percent of that 700-pound weight loss went, 8.5 percent (60 pounds) came from the increased use of high-strength steel (up from 23 percent to 77 percent) in its ladder-box frame. Ford claims this steel is comparable to some of the heavy duty pickups used by its competitors, with a PSI rating of 70,000.
