1989 (25th Anniversary Edition) Ford Mustang Lx, 5.0 Liter, No Rust, New Paint on 2040-cars

For Sale I have a 1989 (25th Anniversary Edition)
Ford Mustang LX, 5.0 Liter. I purchased
this car in 2007 and have driven it very little. I bought the car from an adult and am one
myself. It was never beat up. I bought the car because it had NO turbo,
nitrous or supercharger. The car was and
still is all naturally aspirated. It
came with GT40 Intake, Headers, beefed up Injectors, MSD, improved air intake
and throttle body. It took me three
years to find a clean example of the car that wasn’t heavy beat on, modified or
rusted. This car is all original with
some tasteful virtually unseen upgrades. The car also has Cobra Rims; Newer Nito tires with 98% tread
left, short shifter, and comfortable racing seats. When I bought it I had an auto body shop cut out what little
rust was there, replace the metal and paint the car including all exterior
moldings. I spent $4,500 on this
project. The paint is 100% but they did
put on too much clear coat. A light wet
sanding may help but isn’t necessary. This is a list of some of the additional fixes / new parts
on the car: Battery Tray, Screw Kit, Distributor Cap, Spark Plug Set, Fuel
Filter, Plugs, Temp Sensor, Heater Core, Door Hinge Set, Prop Rod Clip,
Flashers, Battery Hold Down, Key Ring, Radiator Overflow Tank, Chrome Cap, Fan,
Hose Kit, Radiator Overflow Tank Cap, Ashtray Drink Holder, H-Pipe w/ Cats
2.5" 79/93 5.0L w/ Shorties (BBK), Flow Master Exhaust System, Headlight
Assembly, Silicone, Hatch Hinge, Weather Strip, Hood Pins, Door Hinge Pin and
Bushings, Car Cover, Solenoid, Battery Cables, and New Starter. This car was maintained with an open checkbook. If something broke, I fixed it. The car has one problem I have not had the
time to fix. Something is draining the
battery. I believe it is the driverside
sun visor. It has a light that comes on
when you open the mirror. The fabric has
stretched a bit over the years and I believe in the closed position, the light
is remaining on. I have installed a battery
terminal kill kit to temporarily fix the problem. Other than that everything is in perfect
running order. A couple of things to consider if you want this car. 1.
The title is “True Mileage Unknown”. The odometer reads 60k+ and I have no reason
to believe it’s not accurate. The
odometers in these cars only go to 99,999 and then they reset back to 0. It is possible that the car has 160k but I
don’t believe it to be. If you drive the
car, you’ll feel how tight everything is.
The car idles perfectly and is responsive and very strong. I maybe put a couple of hundred miles a year
on it. I hardly ever drive it and that’s
why I am selling it. 2.
The air conditioner has been removed and the
pulley’s have been changed out to increase horsepower. This is a common cheap power upgrade to those
of you familiar with these cars. It can
be reinstalled but I do not have the parts to do so. That’s it. I can’t
express to you how well this car drives.
It would make the perfect car for any fan of the fox body mustangs. On Nov-12-13 at 20:50:04 PST, seller added the following information:
Please Note: One of the eBay buyers pointed out that the vehicle report clearly states the mileage to be 160,000. I can not and will not argue the report. The title does say "True Mileage Unknown". After reading the report, I can't understand why buts that's what it says. I left the original ad and just added this note instead of changing it to not confuse or mislead anyone.

Ford's Troller introduces even more rugged T4 SUVs in Sao Paulo
Mon, 27 Oct 2014The Bronco may be long gone from Ford dealerships back home, but down in Brazil its spirit lives on in the Troller brand. Founded independently in 1995, Ford do Brasil took over Troller in 2007 and has been teasing us with its rough-and-tumble SUVs ever since. So with the Sao Paulo Motor Show coming up, Troller has revealed this special version of the T4.
Looking even more rugged than the existing three-door sport-ute, this special T4 packs a snorkel, winch, upgraded bumpers and knobbier tires. We're not sure what to make of the "sophisticated" brown and tan paint job, but send it north and the Jeep Wrangler would have a new challenger on its hands... especially since the Toyota FJ Cruiser was discontinued.
Alongside the version seen here, Troller will also exhibit another T4 outfitted for rescue workers. Scope out initial details of both in the press release below, enclosed in both its original Portuguese and auto-translated into English.
24 Hours of Le Mans live update part two
Sun, Jun 19 2016We tasked surfing journalist Rory Parker to watch this year's live stream of the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans. What follows is an experiment to experience the world's greatest endurance race from the perspective of a motorsports novice. Parker lives in Hawaii and can hold his breath longer than he can go without swearing. For Part One, click here. Or you can skip ahead to Part Three here. I write about surfing for a living. If you can call it a living. Basically means I spend my days fucking around and my wife pays for everything. Because she's got a real job that pays well. Brings home the bacon. Very progressive arrangement. Super twenty first century. I run a surf website, beachgrit.com, with two other guys. It's a strange gig. More or less uncensored. Kind of popular. Very good at alienating advertisers. My behavior has cost us a few bucks. I'm terrible at self-censorship. Know there's a line out there, no idea where it lies. I still don't understand any of the technical side. Might as well be astrophysics or something. For contests I do long rambling write ups. They rarely make much sense. Mainly just talk about my life, whatever random thoughts pop into my head. "Can you do something similar for Le Mans?" "Sure, but I know absolutely fuck-all about racing." "That's okay. Just write what you want." "Will do. But you're gonna need to edit my stuff. Probably censor it heavily." So here I am. I spent the last week trying to learn all I can about the sport of endurance racing. But there's only so much you can jam in your head. And I still don't understand any of the technical side. Might as well be astrophysics or something. While I rambled things were happening. Tracy Krohn spun into the gravel on the Forza chicane. #89 is out of the race after an accident I missed. Pegasus racing hit the wall on the Porsche curves. Bashed up front end, in the garage getting fixed. Toyota and Porsche are swapping back and forth in the front three. Ford back in the lead in GTE Pro. #91 Porsche took a stone through the radiator, down two laps. Not good. The wife and I are one of those weird childless couples that spend way too much time caring for the needs of their pet. French bulldog, Mr Eugene Victor Debs. Great little guy. Spent the last four years training him to be obedient and friendly. Nice thing about dogs, when you're sick of dealing with them you can just lock 'em in another room for a few hours. You don't need to worry about paying for college.
Automakers donating money, vehicles and supplies to Oklahoma tornado relief effort
Fri, 24 May 2013Judging by the destruction the Oklahoma City area experienced earlier this week, residents are going to need a lot of help in coming months. Fortunately, a number of automakers - including General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Volkswagen, Honda and Toyota - have stepped up to donate money, supplies and vehicles to aid in the recovery and rebuilding processes.
Here's a quick rundown of which automakers have pitched in and what each contributed so far:
Ford Motor Company has donating $250,000 and a Transit Connect to the American Red Cross, and it will match all other donations made to the Red Cross (up to $250,000) using a special URL tied to the latter's website (link here). Additionally, its local Oklahoma dealers have thrown in an extra $150,000 for the United Way and the automaker will be offering an extra $500 toward the purchase of a new Ford vehicle.
