1965 Mustang Convertible, nice little car to go for a summer cruze , I just finished this car off after taking it apart and redoing basically the entire car . I cut out and repaired all rust on the body . I removed the entire interior and put in fresh carpet , dash pad , sill plates glove box , redyed the leather interior , put on a new top , new back window , defroster ducks , console yada yada yada . The car is a 6 cylinder , automatic with a power top , tic toc tach , factory AC , no power steering or brakes . I completely did the brakes over from master to wheel cylinders to shoes , all new fuel lines , etc etc etc .
I painted the car a hot rod satin black , too many red and white ones out there , the body is nice and strait and could be painted if you want to go that way , the chrome is pitted in spots but is presentable for a car this age . I did replace and buff out some chrome but if you are a trophy hunter pass this one by thanks .
I built it to be driven not car show queen for a affordable price . The car runs and drives down the road very nicely , I haven't driven the car other than around the local area as it is not registered yet , I have the signed title from the previous owner at this time , if you want to Seriously talk to me shoot me a number and time to reach you . 2015 Ford Mustang specs revealed, GT to pack 435 HP
Thu, 17 Jul 2014The 2015 Ford Mustang sounds great so far - at least on paper. Ford has just announced specs for the latest version of the iconic pony car in Dearborn, telling Autoblog that it will pump out as much as 435 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque from its 5.0-liter V8.
Those gaudy figures power the naturally aspirated GT model, and they easily eclipse the "more than" 420 hp and 390 lb-ft that Ford originally estimated.
The 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost four-cylinder makes 310 hp and 320 lb-ft, and it's the first turbo Mustang since the 1986 SVO.

One is a hatchback with power coming from a turbocharged engine routed to the front wheels. The other is a coupe with power coming from a naturally aspirated four-cylinder boxer engine routed to the rear wheels.
Thing is, both of them are reasonably priced performance cars aimed at a similar segment of the automotive marketplace, so a comparison isn't out of the question. Fitting Retirement: Grand Marquis last Mercury off the line
Wed, 05 Jan 2011The signs have come down and retail production ended back in October of 2010. Now, the very last Mercury model has rolled off the assembly line. This last Mercury somewhat fittingly takes the form of a Grand Marquis reporting for fleet duty. It was built at the St. Thomas plant in Ontario, Canada, which is the same facility that continues to produce the Ford Crown Victoria and Lincoln Town Car for fleet and livery duty.
St. Thomas' days are numbered, however, as the factory is slated to close on August 31. When it goes, the Panther platform is likely to follow. So long, and thanks for all the fish memories.
