Great condition 2000 Ford Saleen Super Charged Mustang. Low miles (+ 34k miles), great interior and exterior. Car has been very well-cared for, always maintained and garage kept. Mature adult driven and never been raced or tracked. CLEAN TITLE and CARFAX. ALWAYS professionally maintained, with recent $3,400 service completed (new clutch, belts, hoses, sensors). Has a few minor rock chips like most cars, but nothing major. A very good example of a properly owned, maintained and driven Saleen that has been saved the fate of most, that are now hacked up, neon lighted, beat to hell or rust outs.
I have had a few tasteful/effective changes made (see list below), but nothing that cannot easily be reversed. OEM parts are included in sale (est. $3000 value). Also included is the 'Heat Extractor' hood and the OEM Saleen hood. Both are shown in the pictures. Carpet and Interior are in great condition, with no stains, tears, rips, cracks or odors (no smoking). The exterior is also in great condition and the paint shines very well, with no scratches, scrapes or dings. Car has only been hand waxed to avoid buffer 'swirls'.
Intercooled/Supercharged 281 V8, power locks, power windows, cruise control, MACH I stereo, leather interior, fold down rear seats, OEM Saleen trunk bag, original key sets w/remotes (2) and Saleen Owner Manuals.
Car has following upgrades/current maintenance:

My new car arrives on July 3rd, so I prefer to sell before then as I need the garage space, although storage can be arranged. Reserve price is $500 above what my dealer is offering for trade in. Car is for sale locally and I reserve all rights to end auction early if sold locally. Car is sold as-is/where is with no warranty express, implied, written or otherwise. I have attempted through word and pictures to describe the vehicle to the best of my ability, however everyone is welcome to come and inspect in person. Through appointment, car can be shown to any prospective purchasers and I will be more than happy to meet and show the car in person. A $500 non refundable deposit is required within 24 hours of auction ending and balance within 5 calendar days. Thanks for looking and wish all bidders the best of luck! Someone will be getting one hell of a car!

Ford Mustang GT350 seen and heard in motion for the first time
Fri, 27 Sep 2013We just recently saw our first spy shots of the next-gen hi-po Ford Mustang slated to replace the Shelby GT500, but now we're getting our first look - and listen - of prototypes captured on video. Mustang6g.com has the video (along with some different spy shots), which show that, if nothing else, SVT knows how to tune an exhaust system. The :50 mark is a good example of this, but fast-forward to around 2:00 where the driver revs the engine and really gets on the throttle hard taking off from a stop.
There's still no definitive evidence that the next-gen SVT Mustang - said to be called GT350 - will be naturally aspirated, but it sounds just as menacing as the current Shelby GT500. While the video posted below exhibits the sort of quality that is to be expected from someone driving while trying to film someone who is attempting to elude being filmed, it's still exciting to see and hear this new Mustang in motion.
Ken Block is at it again in Gymkhana 6
Mon, 11 Nov 2013If there's one thing we'll say about Ken Block and his latest installment in the Gymkhana family, it's that it's far more structured than previous videos, but that doesn't mean it skimps on the entertainment. Block is on a purpose-built course which was touted as "The... Ultimate... Gymkhana... Grid... Course" in last week's preview. Unlike Gymkhana 5, which took placed on closed streets in San Francisco, this course seems much more compact.
Block has an entire array of challenges to tackle in his 650-horsepower Ford Fiesta ST, and none of them look particularly easy. In fact, we'd argue that Gymkhana 6's grid course requires much more precise driving that previous titles. There are Segways, Lamborghinis and massive pieces of construction equipment that all must be dealt with.
We've got the entire 6:28 of Gymkhana madness for you down below. Scroll down for the video and then hit Comments and let us know how this installment compares to previous Block works.
These horribly misguided front-drive design studies nearly became the Mustang
Fri, 08 Nov 2013As we eagerly await the unveiling of the all-new sixth-generation Mustang, Ford has been giving us some great information over the past few months showing what has gone into shaping its venerable pony car. As many changes as the Mustang has gone through in its 50 years, though, it appears the fourth-gen model played a decisive and pivotal role in the car's future.
As is part of Mustang lore, the front-wheel drive Ford Probe was originally developed as a next-generation Mustang in the Eighties before cooler heads prevailed. The Blue Oval has just released a handful of images showing how bad things could have been - including a full-scale clay model of a front-wheel-drive Mustang (shown above). Fortunately, the FWD Mustang plan was scrapped and Ford went to work designing a rear-wheel-drive replacement for the Fox Body Mustang, with three design studies making it far enough to become full-scale models. These include the soft "Bruce Jenner" Mustang, the over-the-top "Rambo" Mustang and the middle-ground "Arnold Schwarzenegger" Mustang, which finally became the basis for the 1994 'Stang.
By early 1991, the design language of the fourth-generation Mustang had been worked out, and the rest, they say, is history. Scroll down for the fascinating press release telling the story of the fourth-gen Mustang, and be sure to check out the gallery of horribly misguided sketches and various design studies that were all on the table in the late 1980s.
