One of the Best Model T's I have owned.  The prior owner did a
great deal of work on this car. He and his wife drove it on tours of
Pikes peak, the Rocky Mountains, Canada the far West and East ,
Midwest  on many Model T tours. Attached is a YouTube video I
made showing Model T accessories with more pictures of the car
for sale If the car does not sell I am open to offers following the end
of the auction I can store the car in dry storage for 30 days no cost
and then further storage at my cost of $ 60 a month until pick up I
have helped ship cars to Europe I do guarantee the car is as described
a good running operational car. I ENCOURAGE inspections either
by the buyer or a third party

Here is a list of  options that add quality and value to the car.  Later
I will note all the DEFECTS as no car is perfect and I keep my
reputation high by being very honest.  No complaints selling many
cars over 50 years .  The Son of the West Ohio restorer reported
that this car came in second at the Ford Museum annual Old Car
Festival (some years ago)  but lost out as it had a white interior

Engine  highly modified and powerful standard Model T block

high compression head

Model A high flow intake and exhaust

Model A Carburetor

Air filter

electric fuel pump

2 glass fuel filters bowl in addition to standard Ford filter and pressure
cut off switch

Son report that Dad installed aluminum pistons balanced engine and
installed a Model A crank but I have not opened the engine to confirm this

Ruckstell 2 speed rear transmission (one of the BEST Model T options)
 shifts smoothly

Bosch rear suspension

floating rear axle bearings

turn signals

NICE rare trough the windshield spot light

accessory heavy duty rear brakes (I do not know if they are Rocky
 Mountain or another make)

Has a new uninstalled boot for the top and the rear Ford Tan Spare
Tire cover

Period tool box with period jack repair parts and other period tools

Defects

paint is older and parts are beginning to show chips on edges of hood.  Hood had hot anti freeze
from a loose radiator temperature gauge  spray it which has caused some spotting   one 1/2 inch
paint chip along piano hinge on top of the hood

some paint chipping on top frame edges fenders  etc    some paint cracking where the front fenders
flex at the running boards

top is functional and appears to be an older style 2 or 3 layer canvas fabric (canvas?)  with a separate
interior padding and liner  The top   Keeps the rain out fine but looks old. Harder to keep clean.  The
white trim around the top should be repainted or stained white  One 3 inch pinch tear developed this
week where the fabric top on rear most top frame pinched on top drivers side

Has a rare model collectible distributor.  I would definitely sell it to a collector and replace it with the
original coil box 4 coil system or a new Texas T distributor. BEFORE going on long tours.  In my
opinion the original coils are best   The majority of engine failures on tours are with older distributors.

Rear tires are functional but tread is worn. Should be replaced within 500 miles before long tours
  Spare has good tread

I need to re ground head lamps before the sale  as when I hit a bump they can flicker

rear window frames appear to have paint over corrosion

one rear glass window is cracked

two oil cups lubricating suspension  have missing hinge tops which I will replace

Spotlight. other interior lights I have never turned on or learned how to turn on

I do work hard on greasing changing oil checking safety wiring on the wish bone  checking for no leaks
on the rear wheel seals etc. I try and keep cars maintained

I can transport to the Model T Covered Bridge Tour for 45 cents a mile  This is a fantastic tour with 32
covered bridges and back country roads full of Model T's following a prescribed route each day  It is
west of Indianapolis Indiana in Parke County   Google it

I have a nice 26 foot dual axle trailer with electric brakes and an electric hoist I use to pull the car up
on the trailer I can sell for $ 1,000  with the car

I can store free for 90 days after payment insured

I do help transport cars to Chicago for overseas shipments

Insured through Hagerty's for $ 16,000

Reason for selling  I need the cash to help out a family member or I would not be selling it.
This is a good car..  Every show I have entered it has won a trophy.  Been in MANY parades and weddings

Ford CEO told Trump 1 million jobs at stake because of fuel economy regs

Sat, Jan 28 2017

Bloomberg is reporting that Mark Fields, Ford's CEO, pushed President Donald Trump for market-driven national fuel economy standards, and that up to a million jobs could be at stake if those national regulations didn't take consumer expectations into account. Fields was reporting on his conversation with Trump in remarks made at the National Automobile Dealers Association in New Orleans, Bloomberg reports. The report also states that he and fellow CEOs Mary Barra of GM and Sergio Marchionne of FCA aren't seeking to eliminate fuel economy standards altogether, but rather to make them more flexible. Bloomberg reports that Fields didn't cite the studies he was referring to in support of his job loss figures, so we can't independently verify Fields' math at this time. But his push to stop selling cars consumers don't want – that is to say, more hybrids and EVs than consumer demand supports right now – is clear. We've already reported on that. To level an educated guess at what will happen next, Trump seems likely to reduce the stringent 2025 fuel economy targets, perhaps freezing them at current levels. The automakers are already invested in producing vehicles that meet current standards, and they also have to think about foreign markets like Europe that aren't likely to relax standards below current levels. If you consider economies of scale, automakers are likely to ask for federal standards that match global standards for their largest markets as closely as possible. We'll see if Trump buys Fields' math, but Ford isn't hedging its bets. Backing out of the Mexican assembly plant cost the company $200 million – not a huge sum compared to the total value of Ford, a massive company which had its second best year ever, but still an important gesture to Trump about Ford's priorities. This Ford F-150 might have a Land Rover turbodiesel V6

Thu, Dec 17 2015

Our spy photographers just caught this Ford F-150 driving around Dearborn, wearing camouflage around the bed – not so unusual near Ford's headquarters. What's interesting with this particular mule is that it might be packing a Jaguar-Land Rover turbodiesel V6. As with the Super Duty, the F-150 prototype pictured here sports a Venturi exhaust tip popping out the side of the rear bumper behind the wheel, which – along with the sound reported by our shutterbug – suggests that it's burning oil up front. That could mean Ford has found another application for the 3.2-liter, five-cylinder Power Stroke diesel that it just federalized for the Transit van. However our sources suggest what the mule is actually powered by the 3.0-liter Lion V6 diesel that Jaguar Land Rover – once subsidiaries in Ford's Premier Automotive Group – is bringing over for the Td6 models of the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport. The engine produces a respectable 254 horsepower and a healthy 443 pound-feet of torque, and is tipped to be mated to the same ten-speed automatic transmission as the new Raptor. That could give the F-150 the kind of fuel economy and muscle it would need to challenge the likes of the Ram 1500 EcoDiesel and the heavier-duty Nissan Titan with the Cummins engine. With gas prices as low as they are, however, and sales of diesel-powered vehicles lagging, Ford could just be trying to keep up with the competition by offering a light-duty diesel pickup. With its lightweight aluminum body, the diesel F-150 could even surpass the Duramax diesel-powered Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon for frugality at the pumps, according to Mark Williams of PickupTrucks.com. He told Autoblog that, "it makes perfect sense for Ford to do a diesel. It seems like everyone is pushing them to do a Ranger, but if they can get the F-150 to push 30 mpg it can challenge the Ram Ecodiesel and even the Colorado Duramax." Reached for comment, Ford spokesman Mike Levine sent us the following statement: "We do not speculate about future products. While diesel is a solution, it is not the solution. EcoBoost offers the ideal combination of performance and fuel economy that over 60 percent of F-150 customers are choosing." GM says it favors fuel-efficiency rules based on historic rates

Mon, Oct 29 2018

WASHINGTON — General Motors backs an annual increase in fuel-efficiency standards based on "historic rates" rather than tough Obama era rules or a Trump administration proposal that would freeze requirements, according to a federal filing made public on Monday. The largest U.S. automaker said the Obama rules that aimed to hike fleet fuel efficiency to more than 50 miles per gallon by 2025 are "not technologically feasible or economically practicable." The Detroit automaker said that since 1980, the motor vehicle fleet has improved fuel efficiency at an average rate of 1 percent a year. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV said in separate comments that the auto industry is complying with existing fuel efficiency requirements by using credits from prior model years. As a result, even if requirements are frozen at 2020 levels, "the industry would need to continue to improve fuel economy" as credits expire, it added, warning if the government hikes standards beyond 2020 requirements "the situation worsens ... without some significant form of offset or flexibility." Fiat Chrysler and Ford urged the government to reclassify two-wheel drive SUVs as light trucks, which face less stringent requirements than cars. A four-wheel drive version of the same SUV is considered a light truck. Ford backs fuel rules "that increase year-over-year with additional flexibility to help us provide more affordable options for our customers." GM's comments said it was "troubled" that President Donald Trump's administration wants to phase out incentives for electric vehicles. The Trump plan's preferred alternative freezes standards at 2020 levels through 2026 and hikes U.S. oil consumption by about 500,000 barrels per day in the 2030s but reduces automakers' collective regulatory costs by more than $300 billion. It would bar California from requiring automakers to sell a rising number of electric vehicles or setting state emissions rules. The administration of former President Obama had adopted rules, effective in 2021, calling for an annual increase of 4.4 percent in fuel-efficiency requirements from 2022 through 2025. GM has been lobbying Congress to lift the existing cap on electric vehicles eligible for a $7,500 tax credit. The credit phases out over a 12-month period after an individual automaker hits 200,000 electric vehicles sold, and GM is close to that point.
