1923 Ford T-Bucket, Fresh build, 289 +.030 9:1 comp, Comp Cams Thumper cam, Weiand intake, C-4 w/stall converter, B&M Pro Stick shifter, 66 Mustang 9" K code rear axle w/3.50 Traction Loc, Speedway Motors body and rear turtle deck w/ 2013 Ford Tuxedo Black metallic base clear paint, 10 gal fuel cell, Super Bell 4" dropped front axle, Wheel Vintiques 15x5 and 15x8 wheels w/new tires, Custom 2x3 steel frame w/steel body mounts and console. Custom zoomie headers with baffles and heat wrap... This car was built as if someone had a wrecked 66 Mustang GT350 back in the 60s and used the parts to build a Hot Rod. Mustang radiator mounted in a cut down Model A grille shell, 289 4V Auto, 9" w/ 3.50 L gears. Great driver, sounds killer and still gets 15 mpg. needs seat upholstery and it could use some pinstriping. The car is for sale locally so the auction could be cut short. I have built multiple cars and would drive this thing anywhere, it is loud windy and fast with a cruise range of 100 to 120 miles (it averaged 13 mpg last week at 75mph on the interstate.) The car is listed as used but has just over 1000 miles. I just made a 160 mile round trip with no problems but it is being sold with no warranty. Ford spills SEMA all over its Expeditions
Sat, 01 Nov 2014If you're going to this year's SEMA Show in Las Vegas, it's going to be tough to miss the Ford booth, simply for its size. The Blue Oval is bringing over a dozen customized examples of the 2015 Mustang and a quintet of modded Transits. The latest announced addition is a trio of upgraded 2015 Expeditions showing different takes on the recently refreshed SUV.
Any vehicle tuned by Dub Magazine needs to ride on massive wheels, and the Expedition (pictured above) that it has for SEMA is no exception. The SUV has 26-inch Dropstars wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires, and, making them look even larger, the suspension is also lowered. The rest of the custom has some mild upgrades like mesh grilles in front, tinted windows, an integrated radar detector and new upholstery inside.
Tijn wants to boost the performance of the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 for its take on the Expedition. The company claims to add 40 horsepower to bring total output to a claimed 405 by upgrading the engine with a charge cooler from Vortech Engineering, a custom side exhaust and a custom tune. To match the extra grunt, the SUV also gets bigger brakes, an Air Lift suspension and 24-inch, copper-colored wheels with custom fender flares.

Fri, 08 Mar 2013A vast majority of hotels frown upon smoking inside the building these days, but Brad Keselowski doesn't follow the rules. During his introduction at the 2013 MiilerCoors Distribution Convention, the reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup champion smoked the tires of his Miller-sponsored Ford Fusion stock car, adding a pair of thick, black stripes to the carpeting of the Marriott World Center's conference room.
This definitely isn't a high-quality video, but it's the perfect vantage point to watch Keselowski lay down some rubber and receive a well-deserved standing ovation after pulling up in front of the crowd. Check out the short-but-sweet video posted below.
Europe's most-wanted classic car is... the Ford Mustang?
Sat, 28 Sep 2013Over the span of its 49 years and five generations, the Ford Mustang has held a special place in the hearts of automotive enthusiasts in the US, but, as it turns out, this car is also very popular amongst European car lovers. Earlier this summer, AutoScout24 - a new and used car shopping site in Europe - polled around 75,000 European "car lovers" (not sure how they vetted the respondents) to see which cars were the most popular, and the Mustang came out on top over iconic European classics like the BMW M1 and Volkswagen Beetle.
In the whole of Europe, 37 percent of those polled dream of owning a Mustang, but that number jumps in individual countries like Austria (42 percent) and Spain (41 percent). Rounding out the top five popular classics in Europe are the Mini and Citroën 2CV. Find out which cars made up the rest of the top 10 in the press release posted below.
