For Sale is a 1926 Ford Model T Touring Edition. This car was found, owned and restored by former NHL Hockey Legend Bill Hicke. It has been stored in doors since the day it was restored and has very little rust. For a 1926 vehicle the body is in excellent shape. Upholstery was redone and is in excellent shape. Vehicle was fully operational and running up until a few years ago. Gas tank was leaking so we pulled it out. It has not run since. We have lots of extra parts and will throw them in with the purchase of the vehicle. Great winter project it would not take long to get this up and running. Vehicle is located in Regina Saskatchewan, Canada. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. However, if the buyer is in the United States, we will arrange to take it over the border and have it shipped to Plentywood Montana for buyer to pick up, or have shipped from there. Buyer assumes all responsibilities. If buyer is in Canada, pick up is in Regina, and all shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Car is being sold ASIS. Cadillac Escalade gets $5,000 discount to ward off Lincoln Navigator
Wed, Nov 8 2017General Motors apparently isn't going to let early good reception for the redesigned Lincoln Navigator steal thunder from its own luxury SUV without a fight. It's offering a $5,000 discount on the purchase or lease of the Cadillac Escalade this month to any buyer who trades in a 1999 or newer Lincoln model, Bloomberg reports. GM spokesman Jim Cain told Bloomberg the incentive is being offered to keep prices competitive for the Escalade. The 2018 Navigator starts at $72,055, compared to $73,995 for the Escalade, but the outgoing version of the Navigator is selling for an average of around $53,000, compared with more than $80,000 on average for the Escalade, he said. The Escalade was the top-selling domestic luxury SUV in October and No. 4 in the segment, according to Motor Intelligence. It far outsold the Navigator, which last saw a refresh in 2015 and a full redesign in 2007. But Ford is hoping to gain back some ground with the new Navigator and updated Expedition, which also trails the Chevrolet Tahoe and Chevy Suburban in its segment. Bloomberg notes that one Morgan Stanley analyst estimates that GM owns a $2 billion annual pretax profit edge in the lucrative luxury sport utility segment. Ford recalling 830,000 vehicles to replace side door latches
Thu, Aug 4 2016The Basics: Ford is conducting a recall for roughly 830,000 models. The affected vehicles include the 2013 to 2015 Ford C-Max, 2012 to 2015 Ford Focus, 2013 to 2015 Ford Escape, 2015 Lincoln MKC, 2015 Ford Mustang, and 2014 to 2016 Ford Transit Connect. The recall is focused primarily in Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, California, Arizona, Hawaii, Georgia, New Mexico, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Nevada, Utah, Oklahoma, Washington, and Oregon as the problem mostly affects cars in states with warm weather. The Problem: The pawl spring tab in the side door latch in the affected vehicles could break, preventing the door from latching and could even cause the door to open while driving. Injuries/Deaths: There is one reported injury and one reported accident. The Fix: Dealers will replace the affected cars' side door latches. If you own one: Reach out to your local Ford dealer to schedule a service.
