Up for sale is this 2003 Ford Focus SVT. It has a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder high output engine and a 6 speed manual transmission. The engine, transmission, clutch and brakes are all in good working condition. Car does have air conditioning, but has a slow leak and it needs recharging. The body is in very good condition. There is a small crack in the lower front fascia by the fog lights. Interior is in good condition. Has a factory Audiophile AM/FM CD player with an 8" sub woofer. The radio does work, but the CD player does not. Has new CV shafts, thermostat, thermostat housing and temperature sensor. Also included in sale are 4 16" very good winter tires mounted on Ford alloy wheels. This car has a lot of power and is fun to drive. It also gets good gas mileage.

Leno chooses his top 10 Mustangs

Ford recalls select Explorer, E-Series vans
Tue, 21 Jan 2014Just a few days ago we brought you news that Ford had issued a recall on 28,000 units of the Edge crossover for problems related to the fuel line. But now the Blue Oval has issued recall notices on two more of its larger vehicles.
The first relates to the Explorer, 395 examples of which from the 2011 and 2012 model years were found to have problems with their steering systems if they underwent service after September 1, 2013. An apparent software glitch could lock the steering gear, preventing the driver from steering the vehicle and thereby increasing the risk of a crash. As a result, Ford dealers are being instructed to check their records to identify the problematic vehicles and bring them in to have the steering gear replaced. The second problem revolves around E-Series vans that may develop bubbles in their windshields under hot temperatures. The decrease in visibility through the problematic windshield could - you guessed it - "increase the risk of a crash." As a result, Ford is calling in 4,532 units of the E-150, E-250, E-350 and E-450 vans built in the relatively short window between May 12 and May 26, 2011. Ford's global performance vehicle chief engineer, accompanied by senior exterior designer Bruce Williams, sat down with the publication to discuss the concept and development of the automaker's super off-road F-150.
Designing a high-performance pickup in 2008, right when the cost of gasoline was going through the roof, seemed insane at the time, but the team pushed forward with the innovative vehicle regardless. The interview includes plenty of Ford B-roll footage as visual candy, and the conversations include discussions about exterior design, ride comfort, anti-lock brake tuning, suspension engineering, weight reduction and why it was necessary to make the Raptor visually different than Ford's standard F-150.
