1967 Ford Fairlane Resto-mod. This 2 owner Fairlane is totally rust-free, it spent its entire life in the Dallas area in a garage, it has never stayed out side. The car was stripped down and a nut & bolt restoration was performed. The interior is totally brand new XL buckets, center console, auto shifter and rear seat covers. The front suspension was replaced with a Heidts Mustang II rack & pinion steering unit, the rear suspension was replaced with a Heidts 4 link rear suspension kit. It has a 9" narrowed (2") rearend with 3.73 gears and a limited slip differential. The engine is a virgin Dart Windsor block bored and stroked to 427cid with Dart CNC pro 1 heads, it also has an Edelbrock Air Gap intake, by Faerman Motorsports in Houston, TX. The internals are all high dollar, no money spared on the engine ($20,000). The carb is a Divinci 1190 pro street. The engine dyno'd at 600hp and 590 torque on 93 octane. Transmission is a drag prepared C-6. The battery has been relocated to the trunk and a 20 gallon fuel cell has been installed in the trunk as well. I have 75K in building this car. Call 904-521-4452 ask for Jeff.

Ken Block and friends race light in silly-beautiful Castrol commercial
Wed, 28 May 2014How does one make fast, loud, drifting cars better? Well, you can add more fast, loud, drifting cars or you can add lasers. Either or, really. In this case, Castrol did the right thing and added both, creating a highly stylized commercial for its Edge Titanium motor oil starring South African racer Adrian Zaugg, BMW factory driver Augusto Farfus, Audi DTM and Le Mans staple Mike Rockenfeller and some bloke named Ken Block.
Their cars? No surprise, but Block is in his Ford Fiesta GRC, while Zaugg samples a Lamborghini Aventador and Farfus and Rockenfeller drive along party lines, with a BMW M4 and an Audi R8, respectively. And those cars look good, too, thanks to the creative light and laser work on display.
Take a look below for the video from Castrol.
Tanner Foust tackles 'Ring in SVT Raptor
Sat, 16 Mar 2013Here's a math problem: if Tanner Foust has a 24 hours to kill in Germany and one blue Ford Raptor, how long will it take him to decide he wants to lap The Nürburgring? Extra credit if you can get your answer precise to the millisecond.
A very truck-like and slidey lap of the 'Ring is exactly what happened when the Ford-sponsored rallycross driver took time off from set-up duties for his 'day job.' Thankfully no one even thought to worry about posting a time, but you can watch some Raptor skid marks getting laid down between the kerbs in the video below.
