3 DAY AUCTION ONLY!!!!! If it does not sell, I am trading it to my local dealer for whatever they give me because I have NO room to store the truck for more then 3 days!

This is a 2008 Ford F450 Super Duty XLT 2WD with 86k miles on it. It is black exterior with a nice tan interior. It of course has the 6.4L porwerstroke diesel engine. This truck is in EXCELLENT CONDITION! I guarantee there is no other trucks that look like this, when cleaned it looked BRAND new inside and out. I personally detailed it once a week, inside and out for over 3 hours! every Sunday! I waxed it once a month to look great! No pets were ever inside, and no one ever smoked, it smells and looks BRAND new inside. I am a perfectionist with my vehicles. Not only looks but maintenance. I personally did the oil change with Motorcraft oil and oil filter every 3k miles. I also drained the water separator every 2 weeks. I also changed both fuel filters every 7,500 miles, Ford says do it at 10k, but I don't like to take chances. maintenance is KEY on these new diesel trucks! most people do not know how to properly maintain them!

On this truck I also have the Ford Factory EXTENDED warranty. It is full coverage and covers everything. I pay $198 a month for it, I can either cancel it, or you can transfer it to your name (it is transferable) I owe $2,700 more on the warranty and it is for 3 years 48k miles more!!!! The truck already has 2 new turbo's, down pipe and high pressure fuel pump, a/c compressor that were replaced under warranty, so you do not need to worry about those. If you do not want the warranty then I will just stop paying and cancel it...

About 5k miles ago I replaced all 4 rear tires with the OEM tires, the Continental HDR 14ply 19.5" tires. Front were replaced almost 20k miles ago. 6 matching tires! I do not go cheap on tires, most of these trucks out there they replace the tires with cheap Chinese crap and they ride horrible! I spend money to make my trucks drive and last. These tires probably have 90k miles more to go on them!!!!!!!!!!!!! they last VERY long.

If I ever got a door ding, I had my dent guy take it out, so there is not a single door ding on the truck!! I also didn't like how the plastic on the rear bumper and front bumper faded, so I replaced all the plastic trim with new, I also bought a entire new OEM rear bumper to make it look right!!! Then I noticed the plastic door handles faded, I spent $300 more to get OEM new door handles all 4!!!! New front bumper valance, new roof marker lights and lenses. I need my truck looking perfect.

Jay Leno and Lee Iacocca reflect on 50 years of Ford Mustang

Mon, 30 Dec 2013

Lee Iacocca oversaw the birth of the Ford Mustang back in the 1960s, rocketing the new pony car nameplate into million-unit sales territory in its initial go-round and cementing its place in the history books. Thus, we were immediately drawn to this latest episode of Jay Leno's Garage, in which the funnyman hosts Iacocca for a look at the origins of Ford's most iconic sports car. The legendary auto exec is looking notably more frail than when we last saw him, but if we're being asked around as a video guest when we're 89 years old, we'll consider that evidence of a life well lived.
Serial No. 0001 is on hand for the occasion for Jay's romp through history, as is the historic Mustang 1 showcar from 1962. Of course, the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang GT (in prototype form) makes an appearance at the end of the episode with chief engineer Dave Pericak, as well. Get some, below.

First 1K next-gen Mustangs to carry 2014 1/2 model year?

Thu, 18 Jul 2013

A new report from Mustangs Daily, citing insider sources at Ford, tells us that the Blue Oval will produce 1,000 next-generation Mustangs with the model year designation of 2014 ½, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the storied marque. The commemorative half-year designation is a rumor that's been swirling in Mustang forums for quite some time now, and seems more plausible than ever with this most recent report. Certainly it's not far-fetched to believe that Ford will want to make a big deal of the golden anniversary for its most-loved model.
The story (compiled by Drew Phillips, who runs the aforementioned Mustang site when he's not directing the photography on these pages) goes on to say that the limited-run cars will be the first built on the new Mustang platform internally known as S550 (and spied testing in the attached gallery). Each car is said to carry a "special" VIN and build number, though no performance upgrades versus the 2015 cars to follow are in the works. A collector's dream then, rather than a weekend racer's.

2015 Ford Focus

Tue, 14 Oct 2014

Sitting down at the pre-drive briefing with Ford engineers ahead of sampling the refreshed 2015 Focus, water bottles clinked as we wet our whistles before Q&A. While pouring a glass, we noticed something stamped on the bottle label: "1L." One liter. We were palming the exact displacement of the EcoBoost engine our group was about to drive. This was undoubtedly coincidence (such bottles litter every conference and dinner table in Europe) but it served to drive home just how small the total swept volume of Ford's wunderkind powerplant really is. It's tiny.
Of course, this isn't our first run-in with the little triple - we've sampled its turbocharged charms before in Ford's smaller Fiesta. At that time, we found it had plenty of poke for the subcompact, but the larger C-segment Focus carries around another 450 pounds or so and pushes a wider profile through the air. Would the three-cylinder have the stuffing to make the most of the Focus' athletic chassis, or would it be a letdown? Would it be the same as it was when we tested it in a Euro-spec Focus a couple of years ago? There was nothing left for it but to head out on the bucolic roads surrounding Versailles the day after the Paris Motor Show and find out for ourselves.
