This is the nicest most well kept 2004 6.0 you will ever see. Bought it in 2007 from its original owner with 56000 miles on it and have driven it very little as now it has only a little over 63000 on it. This truck has been kept in a garage the entire time I have owned it, not driven in the winter, have only towed about 3 times with it, never been tuned or modified in any way. F-350 crew cab 8ft bed 4x4 king ranch lariat, this truck was the biggest and best you could buy at the time and had been treated as such. Adult owned and driven since the day it was new. Everything works exactly like it should. Air conditioning, power heated seats, cruise, four wheel drive all work great. Has a flip over gooseneck ball in the bed and a tow behind hitch in the back with all electrical hookups. Genuine spray in Rhino Lined bed, and 2 new duralast gold batteries this year. Tires are very close to new. Has 4 BF Goodrich all terrain tires. I did change the stereo out with a 7" touch screen unit that plays DVDs and has Bluetooth but that's as far as the modifications have gone and I still have the original radio and it works fine. Any more questions you can text, call, or email me. 740-412-6711 Have plenty more pictures I'd be happy to email or text you if you wish. I'm also willing to take a closer/more detailed picture of anything you wish to see better. I reserve the right to close this auction at any time if I have a customer come forward with cash in hand from any of the other places this vehicle is listed for sale. I'm not interested in any trades Price too high for you now? Keep watching! I'll be lowering the price every week until it sells |

VW going turbo-only in 3 to 4 years
Wed, 18 Sep 2013This really was a matter of when, rather than if. Volkswagen will apparently be the first manufacturer to phase out naturally aspirated engines in favor of turbocharging its full slate. VW is kind of responsible for ushering in this push towards small-displacement, turbocharged engines that's taken the industry by storm. When it dropped its direct-injection, 2.0-liter turbo in the 2005 GTI it demonstrated that strapping an iron long to an engine can enhance the powertrain as a whole. VW made fuel economy gains, while also giving a linear, non-laggy turbo experience that it has replicated, model-after-model, to this day.
Speaking with The Detroit News, Volkswagen's executive Vice President of Group Quality, Marc Trahan, told the paper that, "We only have one normally aspirated gas engine, and when we go to the next generation vehicle that it's in, it will be replaced. So three, four years maximum."
Really, it's hard to get teary-eyed about either of these engines going away. VW has access to smaller powerplants that could easily match the performance of the 2.5 five-cylinder and the 3.6 V6, while gobbling up less fuel and providing a better driving experience. What we are sad about is that a similar statement about the extinction of NA engines came from the Vice President of Powertrain Engineering at Ford, Joe Bakaj. We'd certainly get teary-eyed over a world without Ford's excellent 5.0-liter V8.

Spy shooter claims proof of upcoming aluminum Ford F-Series Super Duty
Thu, 26 Jun 2014Ford has already confirmed that the 2015 F-150 (pictured above) was just the beginning for its more extensive use of aluminum. CEO Alan Mulally said it himself during the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. We've even already seen the future Raptor testing with an aluminum body. But a recent discovery from an intrepid spy photographer might indicate that the lightweight metal is coming to the Blue Oval's Super Duty pickups in their upcoming generation, as well.
According to Automotive News, a spy shooter in Colorado spotted a prototype for the next-gen F-350 testing. He happened to have a magnet on hand and got close enough to check the truck out. When he held it up to the metal in the bed, it didn't stick, which signaled to him a switch from steel to aluminum.
Obviously, this claim raises some questions. Given that it was a test vehicle, one possibility is that the Blue Oval is just evaluating the feasibility of switching to aluminum for the Super Duty trucks, not necessarily committed to it yet. Ford has been testing it quite exhaustively, after all. In fact, much of the rest of the truck in question was covered in camouflage, so it's possible that the magnet failed to work along the rest of the body not because it was aluminum, but because it wasn't powerful enough to get through the disguising material. Thus, the lightweight metal's use could be far less substantial than on the new F-150. Still, it was a clever idea for the cameraman to check things out and might have given us the first hint about brand's next heavy-duty models.
