2009 Ford F350 Crew Cab lariat. 6 speed. 4x4. Cummins Commonrail. Professionally converted by Destroked in Denver 3 years ago. Same ZF tranny as factory Ford diesel. 80K miles since conversion. Very reliable. Very professional. Tan leather interior. Royal Red exterior. 8' long bed. 35" Toyo MT tires (about 75% tread). Engine has approx 7500 more miles than truck. Buckstop front bumper replacement. Headache rack with lights. Front leveling kit with Bilstein steering stabilizer. Front split bench. Rear DVD player (factory). All gauges work. Cruise does not. I did not require emissions so check your local requirements accordingly. Keypad on driver door. Work solutions cable lock in bed (factory). Flip over gooseneck ball in bed. No bed liner. Interior of bed has lots of scratches. Rear view camera (factory). Truck has driven to the east coast twice without an issue. Very reliable. We have recently replaced the starter and the AC compressor. AC blows very cold. New serpentine belt. Squeeks every once in a while. Usually when it is humid outside. Every thing is very professional with top notch materials and sound wiring etc. Clutch is a LUK clutch. Truck featured in 2010 Diesel power magazine and current print media Destroked ads. Engine is a 2004.5 Commonrail from a dodge. New injectors installed two years ago. Has a 3.54 rear end for fuel mileage. We have set a very reasonable reserve on this truck to compensate for the dents in the bed etc. Never in any accidents. Clean Autocheck 93 rating. Absolutely no reason this truck should not go another 150k miles easily if taken care of. Why are we selling? Our loads now require a semi so we have no use for 1 tons anymore. The truck has essentially been used very little in the last 6 months. It is a top quality truck. Only cash payment in full releases the title and truck. This truck is for sale locally so I reserve the right to sell at anytime and end this auction early. I will gladly ship (your arrangements your cost) after truck is paid for (nearest town is Tucson). I will gladly have any mechanic give it a once over at your arrangement and cost locally. One owner. No warranty.

Hear the 2015 Mustang GT V8 roar for the first time
Wed, 26 Jun 2013Our combined knowledge of the 2015 Ford Mustang continues to deepen, as spy shooters have begun to compile video and audio of the upcoming sixth-generation car.
Case in point is this latest series of video clips, which not only gives us a great vantage point of the Mustang in motion, but also allows us to hear the Ford V8 engine and exhaust. After perusing the aural delights of this short video, which, admittedly, doesn't catch the Mustang GT at full song, we can at least say that the throaty exhaust isn't disappointing.
Chances are good that the 2015 Mustang GT will debut with some version of the current (and excellent) Coyote 5.0-liter V8 engine, though we're unclear as to whether or not the motor has been massaged for its next-gen debut, or what may have been done to exhaust plumbing. At this point, we're just happy to hear the pony run. Scroll below to hear for yourself.
The 2021 F-150 elevates Ford's bed game
Fri, Jun 26 2020The new 2021 Ford F-150 is ushering in a new era of pickup capability, but there's more to it than the introduction of the PowerBoost hybrid. While that new powertrain is certainly the truck's headlining element, the supporting electrical architecture enables a level of utility that hasn't been offered in past consumer half-tons. The true party trick is Ford's new "Pro Power Onboard" feature, which is essentially a built-in generator that provides juice for the 2021 F-150's rather robust in-bed power station. This system is available even on gasoline-engine models, but its utility is maximized with the electrified powertrain. ICE models equipped with the option max out at 2.0 kilowatts, while the PowerBoost hybrid can be had with either a 2.4- or a whopping 7.2-kilowatt inverter. The idea here is that the F-150 can essentially stand in for a high-output portable generator. In a worksite example provided by Ford, a PowerBoost model with the 7.2-kW upgrade and a single tank of fuel could provide 32 hours of power for an 1,800-watt compound miter saw, a 1,000W circular saw, a 1,200W battery charger, a 1,200W hammer drill, and a 1,000W air compressor with hundreds of watts to spare for lighting and other accessories. But even without the Pro Power Onboard option, Ford's new bed setup enables more versatility than in previous models. The new Tailgate Work Surface option adds a flat work area with integrated rulers, recesses for pencils or small tools, and even a stand for a personal device. Ford is neither the first to offer an auxiliary power outlet in a half-ton pickup bed, nor was Ford the first to introduce a more feature-rich tailgate. GMC's MultiPro tailgate was a major innovation on that front, and while it is geared mostly toward improving the cargo utility of the bed, it can also be customized with 12-volt power and even an accessory speaker system. The Ram 1500 is also offered with both a multi-function tailgate and AC power in the bed, though the latter option is limited to models with the RamBox cargo package. As half-ton pickups approach levels of towing and hauling capability that begin to blur lines with heavy-duty offerings, it's clear that automakers are looking for ways to differentiate themselves without stepping on their own bigger trucks' toes. These new bed and tailgate innovations may yet be the tip of the iceberg when it comes to full-size pickup versatility. Related Video:  Â
