THIS TRUCK IS A 2000 FORD F-350 SUPER DUTY 4 DOOR EXTENDED CAB, BUYING AS IS. SHE HAS THE BELOVED 7.3 DIESEL ENGINE WITH ONLY 160,687 MILES ON HER. I WILL DRIVE HER UNTIL I SELL HER, SO THE MILEAGE WILL CHANGE. I LIVE .7 MILES FROM MY JOB. FOR A DIESEL ENGINE SHE IS JUST NOW BROKEN IN AND READY TO ROLL. SHE HAS DUAL REAR WHEELS. SHE IS WHITE WITH GREY INTERIOR AND IS IN GREAT SHAPE AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES, BUT AS YOU CAN SEE SHE DOES SHOW HER AGE. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH HER. I HAVE LOADED LOTS OF THINGS INTO THE BED OF THIS TRUCK BUT HAVE NEVER PULLED OR HAULED WHAT SHE IS CAPABLE OF. GREAT WORK TRUCK FOR THE RIGHT PERSON.

I AM THE SECOND OWNER AND HAVE LOVED THIS TRUCK SINCE THE DAY I BOUGHT IT FROM THE FORD DEALERSHIP. I DON'T WANT TO SELL IT BUT I WANT SOMETHING SMALLER SINCE I MOVED BACK TO TOWN. I HAVE TAKEN GREAT CARE OF HER, THE SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE OF THIS TRUCK SINCE DAY 1. OIL CHANGES EVERY 3,000 MILES, OTHER REGULAR MAINTENANCE, WASH AND WAX, INTERIOR CLEANING ETC. I HAVE PUT IN TWO NEW BATTERIES, ALTERNATOR, UPPER AND LOWER BALL JOINT, OUTER BALL JOINTS, BEARS ON THE REAR AXLE, NEW TIRES ON THE FRONT, AND BRAKES ALL THE WAY AROUND. BACK TIRES ARE IN GREAT SHAPE. LOOK AT ALL THE PICTURES, I HAVE TAKEN PICTURES OF EVERY THING I CAN THINK OF THAT IS WRONG WITH THIS TRUCK AND I BELIEVE I HAVE LISTED EVERYTHING I CAN POSSIBLE THING OF . I KNOW PEOPLE HAVE A DIFFERENT OPINION OF USED BUT THIS IS WHAT I THANK OF BEING USED. JUST LOOK AT THE PICTURES AND YOU WILL SEE.

Ram and Alfa Romeo top J.D. Power study of best automaker websites

Fri, Jul 21 2023

Imagining a new car can be terrific fun, especially if the new car is an Alfa Romeo. So say the fantasy engineers at the J.D. Power agency, who’ve found that Alfa and Ram, sister brands under the Stellantis umbrella, offer potential buyers the most attractive consumer websites, which are often their first viable encounter with those vehicles. Power found that those marques lead the mass market and premium categories in its twice annual Manufacturer Website Evaluation Study. In the premium segment, Alfa Romeo led with 755 points, up six points over BMW, 10 points ahead of Infiniti, 14 points past of Jaguar, and 18 points up on Porsche. By contrast, Volvo and Audi trail the pack with 689 points, and are behind Genesis (699 points), Tesla (720), and Cadillac (721), all of which perform worse than the premium segment average of 724 points. The summerÂ’s study showed that in the mass market segment, Ram leads with an impressive 735 points, which puts it six points ahead of GMC, seven points atop its stablemate Jeep, eight points beyond Subaru, and 22 points ahead of the industry average. Volkswagen finished dead last among mass market names, but only one point behind Ford, 684 to 683 out of a possible 1,000. Segment average, as noted, was 713 points. “Website satisfaction can be volatile, and automotive websites are not immune to changing preferences,” said Jon Sundberg, director of digital solutions at J.D. Power. “However, manufacturers have shown to be very agile when it comes to website design and ensuring their sites meet modern standards, more so than many other industries, as exemplified through the study data.” Marketing/Advertising Alfa Romeo Audi BMW Ford Volkswagen

Ford will build Hackmobile out of Transit Connect Wagon

Fri, 27 Dec 2013

What you see in the above image is a rendering of the Hackmobile Transit Connect Wagon. What is that? It's a "mobile fabrication and hacking unit" that includes tools for metal- and woodworking, 3D and electronics fabrication, a three-axis CNC machine called "The Fabber," a video projector and screen, an air compressor, an 84x48-inch work surface that folds out like a Murphy bed and oh so much more. When not in use, all of the implements fold neatly into the back of Ford's award-winning van.
But perhaps the more important question is why is that? Because Make Magazine held an Ultimate Maker Vehicle Challenge in conjunction with Ford in which ten teams created were charged with creating "the ultimate Ford Transit Connect Wagon for the do-it-yourself enthusiast." Team Twin Cities Maker won the competition with the Hackmobile, and in addition to winning $10,000, Ford has declared it's actually going to build the thing - which is great, because if they can actually engineer a road-legal Hackmobile Transit Connect Wagon as envisioned, the inevitable A-Team movie reboot might need to think about including it.
Check out the video below for a cheeky walk-through of the Hackmobile, and get all the particulars in the press release below that.

Entry-level F-150 now offers SuperCrew, Sport Package

Thu, 29 Aug 2013

Ford has made a few notable tweaks to the lower end of its F-150 lineup, giving customers a more affordable version of the four-door SuperCrew body style. The popular SuperCrew could previously only be had on XLT models and above, but Ford has announced that 2014 F-150s with the base STX trim can get the more versatile body.
The STX SuperCrew brings the price of a four-door F-150 down from $34,525 to $33,145. Like the XLT SuperCrew, the STX will be available with the choice of a 5.5- or 6.5-foot bed, while a 5.0-liter V8 can replace the base 3.7-liter V6 for $4,425. Ford has not released pricing on the different bed lengths yet, but opting for the 6.5-foot bed on the XLT raises the price $1,240 and forces buyers into the 5.0-liter V8. We'd expect a similar arrangement on the STX.
The other big news for fans of affordable pickups is the addition of an STX Sport Package on the base-level truck. It adds 20-inch wheels, black exterior accents, black-and-gray cloth seats and decals on the truck's box. The Sport Package is available on all three of the STX's body styles, with Ford listing the price as $980 with current discounts.
