I have a 1999 Ford F-350 4x4 truck. It has an automatic transmission that shifts good.
Has the bulletproof 7.3l power stroke diesel that has 238,850 miles that runs fine. Has dual stacks. This truck has a flat bed that is in good shape. has a towing package. Has 33 inch tires mounted on nice rims. have ok tread left. The engine has a brand new oil pan with new correct motor craft sealant. New oil and oil filter. Has a new ICP sensor and fuel filter. Coolant was just flushed and new coolant added. Brakes are good. Has the xlt package with power windows. needs a paint job ( as you can see in the picture). The previous owner did a horrible job. And needs an e brake cable. Maaco painting in rockaway said a paint job will cost around 600$. If I don't get what i want for this truck. I will just keep it and get it painted. Would make for a great plow truck or daily driver. I also have the original rims and tires for it. And this truck also comes with a almost brand new bully dog tuner. ( was 600$ new). I am asking a reasonable 6000$ but will take the first best offer. Reason for selling: I am looking for a crew cab diesel. Ford recalls Five Hundred, Mercury Montego sedans over fuel tank woes
Mon, 18 Jul 2011Ford has announced through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that it is recalling nearly 3,000 examples of its Five Hundred and Mercury Montego (pictured) sedans from the 2007 model year.
The action, which affects 2,945 vehicles, is due to potentially defective welds between the filler neck and the fuel tank, a condition that could result in a fuel leak or the smell of gasoline reaching the occupants. In the worst-case scenario, a leak could cause a fire. Cars with the affected fuel tank problem could see an illuminated dashboard warning light as a result of the evaporative emissions leak being detected.
Ford will inspect and replace the fuel tank at no cost to owners (those who have already had the procedure done at-cost can apply for reimbursement), and the Dearborn automaker will begin notifying Five Hundred and Montego owners beginning August 15. Motor Trend pits Subaru WRX vs. Ford Focus ST
Thu, 23 Jan 2014The Ford Focus ST has enjoyed a relatively calm, if brief, reign in the world of hot hatches. With nothing else in the class (in the States, at least) but the aging Mazdaspeed3 and Subaru Impreza WRX and the slow-selling Volkswagen Golf R, the Blue Oval's 252-horsepower five door has been the go-to vehicle for those that don't need the high-octane lunacy (and expense) of the rally bred Subaru Impreza WRX STI and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X.
Now, though, as the new Subaru WRX (it's not an Impreza anymore, though, neither is it a hatchback...) starts to arrive at dealers, the Focus ST appears to be under threat for the first time. Naturally, Motor Trend is here to figure out which one is the best, with another one of its Head 2 Head videos. Host Jonny Lieberman puts both cars through their paces, going above and beyond, quite literally, at the very end of the video.
