Up for No Reserve Auction is a hard to find 1977 F350 Super Camper Special with XLT Ranger package .what made this model of truck unique was the towing capacity it held at 9900gvwr . it also came stock with camper tie downs , Heavy Duty cooling and radiator systems, dual fuel tanks, big towing mirrors, dual batteries and notice the rear wheel sits near the back bumper a bit more than usual with the spare sitting in a compartment in the bed. This is a 2 owner truck that has been taken good care of, it has not been restored. , It has a new carb and exhaust system so it runs and drives smooth and efficient. The truck sounds great too.Cost around $2000 for the upgrades. It is impressive the way that it rides and handles, best driving 1ton I ever rode in. I was surprised that it has been getting 14mpg on the freeway thats really good for a 460 engine. The body and paint is really straight and rust free .All the trim is also in good shape. It also has a spray on bedliner . The interior is very clean as well . I took off the seat cover that has been on since 1980 to show the condition of the seat, the dash is perfect with no cracks like most old trucks have . All around a quality truck that is ready to enjoy. I can help with shipping or airport pickup if needed .

Evo grabs Ford's Fiesta R5 rally car by the scruff
Wed, 04 Sep 2013Evo and host Henry Catchpole were thinking of excuses reasons to borrow the bonkers Ford Fiesta R5 rally car for a day or two, when it struck them: the car is street legal. With access to the R5, some of the world's most beautiful driving roads in the English Lake Country nearby, and a handy video crewing hanging around, the plan seemed to write itself.
Based on the resulting video, it was a good plan. Without spoiling the video for you - something we can't really do in text as the best part is listening to the rally car run - Catchpole finds the Fiesta to be sublimely quick and massively satisfying. Even taking the car for a spin on a pseudo rally stage, after leaving the English countryside, does nothing but add to his assessment of the beastly little Ford. Scroll on below to see for yourself, and enjoy the ride.
Ford confirms Everest SUV production for China
Sat, 19 Apr 2014According to Ford, the Chinese SUV segment grew by 49 percent in 2013, and the Blue Oval held a 4.5 percent market share. At the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, Ford is showing the Everest SUV that, while just a concept for now, will go into production in the near future.
The Everest is a big, brawny seven-seat SUV that mixes solid, chiseled styling and contemporary Ford design cues. Up front there is an angular version of the trapezoidal grille and sharp, wraparound headlights. The beltline rises in the rear to make the back appear higher than the front. The rear seems just as chiseled, with the taillights resting in jagged scallops. There is no doubt that this concept means to look rugged, and ready for rough roads - the whole thing looks pretty great.
The truck was penned by Ford's Asia Pacific design and engineering team in Australia, and it was first shown in Sydney last year. Ford's JMC joint venture will build the truck for the Chinese market, and it will be sold at Ford dealers there. The Blue Oval isn't hinting at what powers the production version yet, but it reportedly shares some components with the foreign-market Ranger.
Can an actual Ford F-150 ride on 4 Power Wheels F-150s?
Tue, Dec 9 2014A lot of kids are rough on their toys, especially when it comes to those made to be used outside, like a four-wheeled kid-size Power Wheels. Whether it's cruising through the sand box, carrying piles of rocks in the driveway or crashing around trees in the backyard, these motorized vehicles often take punishment from the moment the giftwrap comes off. The folks at Fisher-Price decided to give their latest F-150 Power Wheels a true torture test worse than any kid could have ever managed by setting a real 2015 Ford F-150 on top of four of them. Would the little toy trucks explode in a shower of plastic shards in a massive collapse, and if not, could they drive away afterwards? The latest F-150 might be 700 pounds lighter thanks to the switch to aluminum, but it's still a fullsize pickup. According to this clip, the truck weighs in at 4,120 pounds, which puts an average of 1,030 pounds on each of the toys. Check out the video above to see how the stunt goes, and click on the gallery below for some behind-the-scenes looks at the setup.
