If you are looking for a truck that will turn heads and will stop people in the parking lots to take pictures this truck is for you!

There have only been two owners of this truck, myself and the original. The work has been done by the original owner and I have all the contact information for him. As far as all the work that has been done, it is as follows...The doors, front fenders, and sides on the bed are new also the rear tail gate is new. The roof has been replaced. All the glass is new. All of the interior has been replaced with new. New tires and wheels. The brake system has been completly replaced including mastercylender and brake booster, brake lines, front calipers, front rotors. Everything in the rear brake system has been replaced with new parts. The rear axle was completely taken apart and cleaned and put back together with new seals. The front steering was totally replaced with new parts including a rebuilt steering box and power steering pump. all new power steering lines and hoses. The transmission was taken apart checked and resealed. The motor had about 20000 miles on it when the project was started. They took the motor a part and replaced all seals and gaskets, new timing chain, and water pump. the distriputor is new also new wires and plugs. the factory cam shaft was replaced with a new cam to give the engine a little more power. The intake manifold is new a long with the carb. and fuel pump. new headers and exhaust system. New alternator, battery, wiring and starter. Nothing was spared when the truck was rebuilt.

The only reason I am selling this truck is because I had just bought it and recently got a job promotion where I now travel 90% of the year. I am never home to drive it and enjoy it. I am just looking to get it into a home where someone can drive it as it should. There are no problems and like I said, it is in excellent and what I would say is perfect condition.

Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.

Ford brings FPV Falcon production in house [w/video]

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

For the first time since 1976, Ford of Australia is bringing the assembly of its stonking Ford Performance Vehicle line back in-house to the company's Broadmeadows and Geelong facilities. That's a point of pride for FPV, which builds high-performance versions of the Australian Falcon model like the F6, GS and the heroic GT seen here.
In the video below, we hear FPV employees talking in hushed tones about the important legacy that cars like the GT have for Australian gearheads of all stripes, and how proud they are to say that hand-built machines like this GT R-Spec with its Boss 355 engine are now rolling out of their home base. For our part, we're just dying to drive this version of the Coyote V8; the engine is rocking a "Miami" supercharger from Harrop and makes some 450 horsepower.
Continue on below for the video, or you can check out some images of the new FPV at the facility, as well as a gallery of the GT R-Spec car.

Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards

Fri, 22 Feb 2013

The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.
