In 2008 ford and Harley Davidson came up with a winner for sure. Ford agreed to let select dealers order a few
low numbered f150's with the well know Saleen Supercharger installed and the necessary components to make this
truck have great street performance along with the normal highway driving experience of the other numbered 2008
F150 Harley Davidson Trucks... The engine gained a 150 HP that now from the factory shows 450 HP with 500 lbs
torque...
I'm a retired ford dealer and had the luxury of owning and driving many of the Harley Davidson Ford trucks
produced through the years. This one is my favorite of all, the style, performance and looks has certainly been
everyone's favorite due to the interest I receive and read about.
I researched and finally located and purchased this one from a 75 year gentlemen who purchased new from the local
Ford Dealership...... He took great care ,keeping it in pristine condition, only 7900 miles and had never been
driven in any adverse weather conditions.
This truck hasn't spent many nights outside a garage . After purchasing the truck I decided to keep the stock
appearance and only drive on good weather days . Ever since I bought this truck my friend in California wanted to
purchase it so he could drive it to car shows ,special events and occasionally drive in beautiful southern
California area. He kept it for some time and in talking one day he learned i had just bought a 2014 F-150 King
Ranch truck he had been looking for one and with me knowing the condition he kept the Harley truck in , we decided
to trade ....Very excited to see it was kept clean, maintained with only 30,000 low miles.
Please review all the photos especially inside the bed ,you can easily tell there has never been anything hauled,
or even placed in the bed. The undercarriage is equally as nice. In reviewing the many photos I have, you can also
tell there has never been any paint work or anything done to make it look other than original..the only thing not
original on this truck is the tinted windows, led taillights and the true dual exhaust professionally done in the
past few months...It also comes with a red full truck cover that is form fitted to keep this beautiful truck clean
as it sits in your garage. I also have the original Window Sticker along with the manuals and info on the
truck.....I did install new tires and had the oil changed along with any other maintenance items needed. It has a
clean Carfax and I can answer any questions you might have. I truly believe the photos available and the history of
this truck has really shows the value and care... you will not be disappointed.....

Ford Mustang 50th anniversary edition brings in $170k

Tue, 30 Sep 2014

Just the other day, we reported on the first Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat selling for a whopping $825,000 at auction. But impressive as that sum was, the Challenger wasn't the only sought-after modern muscle car to cross the Barrett-Jackson auction block in Las Vegas this past weekend. So did this rare Ford Mustang.
The last of 1,964 special-edition 50 Years Limited Edition pony cars sold for a princely $170,000, with proceeds benefiting the Edith and Benson Ford Heart & Vascular Institute, a branch of the Henry Ford Health System.
The pony car in question is based on the 2015 Ford Mustang GT and upgrades with a performance package and nearly every option on the book, along with a unique appearance package to set it apart in celebration of the Mustang's 50th anniversary. It's available in two exclusive shades - Wimbledon white or Kona blue - with either a manual or automatic transmission. Only 1,964 highly symbolic examples were to be built, and this was the last of them.

Weekly Recap: Jaguar takes a leap with price cut, new strategy

Sat, Sep 5 2015

Jaguar was one of the famous automotive props and plotlines in the now-iconic drama Mad Men. There's a scene where the show's protagonist, Don Draper, deftly undercuts an influential Jaguar dealer by indicating that get-me-in-the-door local radio spots would be an effective way to sell cars like the slinky E-Type. The British executives think this is folly – Draper knows they will – and his advertising strategy wins out over the dealer's approach to move the metal. Jaguar's not doing that, but half a century later in the real world the company is launching plans to make its cars more attainable to new and younger customers like Millenials. These aren't coupons, but this is a leap for Jaguar, which has long banked on sexy styling and its rich motorsports history to overshadow its past mechanical flaws. Put simply, Jaguar is addressing the reasons why people, especially the younger set, don't buy its cars. The 2017 XE will start at $35,895 when it launches next spring – which makes it an attractive buy for a successful, relatively young person. When it's time to move up, the redesigned XF will be more attainable, coming in at $52,895, which is $5,275 less than the 2015 model. The flagship XJ sedan and the enthusiast-oriented F-Type sports car will also get thousands of dollars worth of added standard features, and Jag is actively pitching them as a better value than their competitors. "The Jaguar brand is on the eve of a major transformation that will see it dramatically increase its presence in the United States luxury marketplace with an expanded lineup, pricing focused on the core of the luxury market, and an all-new ownership package with best-in-class coverage," Joe Eberhardt, CEO of Jaguar Land Rover North America, said in a statement. The brand's quality and reliability dings have also lurked in the back of buyers' minds for decades, though that's an outdated notion. Jaguar placed third in J.D. Power's Initial Quality Study in June and was the top-ranked luxury brand in J.D. Power's Customer Service Index in March. Not content, the company is rolling out an enhanced program called Jaguar EliteCare that launches on 2016 models. It offers a five-year, 60,000-mile limited warranty, the longest among its competitors, with free scheduled maintenance during that period. The plan also covers roadside assistance and connectivity features.

Ford sticking with manuals for RS models

Wed, Feb 4 2015

Traditional stick-shift gearboxes may be losing ground quickly to dual-clutch transmissions, but Ford knows what hot hatch enthusiasts want. That's why it's sticking with manual transmissions on its RS models for the foreseeable future. The Blue Oval automaker caught our attention yesterday when it revealed the new Focus RS, packing an upgraded version of the turbo four from the Mustang, a trick new all-wheel-drive system and an old-school six-speed manual. After speaking to Ford's product chief Raj Nair at the hot hatch's launch, Autocar reports that the six-speed is here to stay. "All our current research says that customers really like these kinds of cars to have a manual gearbox," Nair told the British publication. "We'll keep looking at market trends, and of course we'll give customers what they want, but for now the manual stays." Autocar further suggests that the same principle will apply to any further Rallye Sport models, so if and when a Fiesta RS rolls around, it's likely it will stick with a stick as well. Although the less potent Focus ST is offered in diesel and wagon forms overseas, wherever it's sold and in whatever form, the six-speed stays a constant in that model as well, just as it does in the smaller Fiesta ST. That doesn't mean that other Ford Performance models won't go without a clutch pedal, though. The new GT employs a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and the new F-150 Raptor channels its muscle through a ten-speed automatic. But as far as Ford's hot hatches go, it looks like the manual will remain alive and well.
