This pickup was purchased new by a state agency (forestry commission) and until a few weeks ago was owned by them and used by them as a fire safety vehicle.  Since day #1 the pickup has been on a strict maintenance schedule, has plenty of life left in it but was recently wrecked!  It cranks right up, engine is strong, transmission is good, air conditioning is cold, heat is hot and the tires can be seen in the photos along with the collision damage.  We simply washed the pickup and put on eBay, did not patch anything up or try to make it look better than it actually is!  An employee wrecked the vehicle on state owned property, they decided not to repair it and simply replaced it with a new one.  The title is clean, not salvage, rebuilt or anything like that, a copy of the title is in the photo link, clean, clear title.  It will crank but of course you cannot drive like it is, we can load the unit on a trailer when you come pickup.  The repair will require several parts to be purchased, the air bags did not deploy, the passenger doors still open and close, please inspect the photo bucket link which has plenty of photos and videos of the damage!  We are not in the body shop, wreck repair business just came across this truck along with some other items from the forestry commission and bought~

The photos were taken the day before the listing on March 14, 2014, and show the pickup in its current condition, visit the link below for over 250 photos and 2 videos of the F-150~

~ This is a true, no reserve, absolute auction without a minimum or any type price, for several years now we have done this with all our listings, sometimes they bring more than we expect and sometimes less, look at our feedback and view some of the items we have sold, just remember when the bidding ends it’s over, high bidder is the high bidder and we move on~

~ We do not sell items before an auction ends and also do not offer items for sale locally or away from eBay, the only way to buy an item from us is auction style on eBay with no reserve!

~ We also do not offer or send 2nd chance offers, if you receive one from us then please ignore or report to eBay because it is a scam, we sell on eBay auction style with no reserve to the highest bidder, in the even the high bidder does not pay or does not take the item then we simply re-list and sell again to the highest bidder

Mustang GT350 reveal coming Nov 17?

Mon, 03 Nov 2014

Ford looks to have something really big planned for the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. The Blue Oval has released the first of five teaser videos on the brand's performance heritage, and aside from some great images of racers over the years, the video includes a series of teaser images, the last of which points to November 17, 2014.
That's the day before press days open in LA, and considering the propensity of global automakers to plan lavish debuts the night before a major international auto show, it's a virtual certainty that Ford will be showing off some sort of special vehicle.
That'd be news in and of itself, but based on the images shown in Ford's teaser video - which include an Alcantara steering wheel, a "Powered by Ford" valve cover, aluminum pedals, sticky tires, a big, round exhaust tip, a honeycomb grille and a serious set of wheels - it seems very likely that Ford will be showing something performance oriented.

This woman owns the first Ford Mustang sold in the US

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

As Ford celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Mustang with the unveiling of the all-new sixth-gen design, one Chicago women can lay claim to a piece of Mustang history. According to CBS Chicago, Gail Wise was the first person in the US to buy a Mustang in 1964, and she did so two days before the car was even unveiled to the public.
Wise, then a 22-year-old teacher, went into the Chicago Ford dealership wanting to buy a convertible, and a salesperson ushered her over to car covered by a tarp. That car was a baby blue Mustang convertible, which she still owns today - along with the documentation. After sitting for almost 30 years and undergoing a full restoration, the car now looks to be in original condition. The report says that this $3,400 purchase could be worth anywhere between $100,000 and $250,000. While this worked out well for Mrs. Wise, we wouldn't recommend anyone going into a dark, back room of a dealership hoping to get a jump on the purchase of a 2015 Mustang.
Scroll down to watch the video report.

Introducing the 1965 Ford Mustang

Sat, 24 Aug 2013

Put on your space suits and diving bell helmets, for it's time to step into a time capsule. The 50th anniversary of a historic model, like, say, the Porsche 911 this year, is certain to bring flights of nostalgia. This historical trip with the 1965 Mustang, though - preliminary hype for next year's anniversary, we know - is a swell museum exhibit for anyone who enjoys bygone days of the automobile.
Lee Iaccoca gave a speech to motoring journalists on April 1, 1964 at the New York World's Fair to introduce a sporty car for younger drivers. His opening line: "Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to one of the proudest moments of our lives." The company was so excited by what it had made that the Mustang was Ford's first "International Press Introduction," being introduced to some 2,000 journos around the world on the same day in the US and 11 European cities. Even through its difficult points, no one at the time could have known how well the Mustang would acquit that pride.
After the intro, the press drove Mustangs 750 miles from New York to Dearborn, MI, reading press kits that touted features like the "vertical, three-sectional taillights/turn signals," "170" six-cylinder engine with 101 horsepower and the available Cruise-O-Matic transmission.
