**** I have had several questions regarding the handling of the truck with the lift package I personally put on it. I took this into account when I chose the ProComp suspension package, tires and soon thereafter the Total Chaos Upper Control Arms. I wanted a nice look AND FEEL.  Its a 6" adjustable lift that I brought down to 5". By doing so this brought the chassis closer to the ground and tires giving the truck very good and tight handling around town and the highway. Think of it like a bull dog, close to the ground but very Tuff and controlled. I've added a picture and model of the lift kit.

I will consider all REASONABLE offers. As of today 2/28 Ford Dealer offered me $16,250 as a trade in. I hate to give this truck to them at this price.

This is by far the nicest Ford 4x4 Supercab F-150 you will find anywhere close to this price and I do hate to part with it. I bought it new and began upgrading and caring for it ever since. There's only 42,700 highway miles on it. It has never been in an accident and it has been cared for like my own child. This truck turns heads and starts conversations everywhere I drive it and you can tell by the low miles, I dont drive it often. I just gave it a complete break job with new roters and life time brakes. The battery has a three year replacement warranty in effect and I also just replaced the wipers. Its ready to roll.

I will not even consider floating a loan or taking a check.  I will accept cash or a cashiers check that must be cashed at the bank it was drawn on before I will sign the title and release the truck. If you want me to hold the truck while you work out financing I will but with a partially refundable downpayment.  It must be in cash. If you back out of the sale after I've pulled the truck off the market for you, you will receive 75% of the downpayment back.

in this day and time you cant be too careful and theres way to many scams going on out there.  I'm not dumb enough to fall for any of them so with that said, Do Not contact me if your out of the country and want to buy the truck remotely with your brother, sister, uncle or who ever else you can make up. Dont waste my time or yours because I will not fall for that one or any others for that matter..

Bottom line here...Please do not call inquireing unless your seriously interested in this awesome truck. If you are, I can Guarrantee that you will be more than pleased when you see and drive it first hand.

Here's a break down of what I've added through blood, sweat and dedication the past few yearsLoad Bearings and 33" ProComp Custom Rims and All Season Tires

Car-crazy 5-year-old boy writes automakers for treasures, gets big response

Fri, Jan 25 2019

Part of the beauty of children is that they can find worth in something adults might deem unworthy or overlook entirely. Five-year-old Patch Hurty didn't see garbage or a broken piece of a car when he spotted a Ford badge lying on the side of a road. He saw an artifact, a souvenir, a start to a collection he could only dream of. Ezra Dyer of Popular Mechanics tells the story of Patch and his quest to turn that one lost badge into a museum of manufacturer logos. According to the article, Hurty is a car fanatic through and through, even using car names as a way of learning to read. After finding the Ford badge near his Connecticut home, he and his mom put together a plan to reach out to dozens of automakers, confessing his love of things on four wheels. In each letter, Patch assembled a picture of himself standing next to one of the cars, and a penny to pay for whatever he hoped was sent his way. The response was unexpectedly and overwhelmingly positive. Of the more than 50 letters he sent out, including to obscure or defunct companies such as Bugatti, Suzuki, and Saturn, a majority responded with warm notes and some type of souvenir. Two of the coolest responses came from Lincoln and Bentley. Lincoln sent a sketch of a Continental (all car lovers enjoy drawing cars, right?), and Bentley sent a wheel center cap. How awesome is that? The story reminds us of something that can easily be lost in all of the negativity involved with the auto industry: Everybody is in this because of a common infatuation with automobiles. For more details on the souvenirs Patch received and accompanying photos, read the rest of the story. Man has surgery to remove T-Bird turn signal that's been in his arm for 51 years

Fri, Jan 2 2015

In 1963, real estate agent Arthur Lampitt was driving a new Ford Thunderbird near East Peoria, Illinois on his way to an appointment when he collided head-on with a truck. A massive accident that was so bad that it was originally reported as a fatal crash, Lampitt suffered a broken hip and that became the focus of doctors' efforts. In fact, no one noticed the fact that the turn-signal stalk had been broken off the steering column and had lodged itself in Lampitt's arm. Fast-forward to around ten years ago, when Lampitt set off a courthouse metal detector because of a "slender object, about the size of a pencil" in his arm. Despite that unnerving discovery, the doctor who examined Lampitt said that since it didn't hurt, he needn't worry about it. This year, however, it did start hurting and the affected arm started to bulge. Lampitt decided to have the issue seen to, and suspected it might have something to do with his 1963 accident. When he looked through photos of the wreck taken by a friend, he noticed the turn-signal stalk of the Thunderbird missing and figured that was the culprit. After a 45-minute outpatient surgery, the surgeon verified it: a slim, slightly bent and corroded, seven-inch metal cylinder with a trumpeted end. The surgeon said a protective pocket had formed around it, which is why it could remain in Lampitt's arm so long, but it was still unusual - "We see all kinds of foreign objects like nails or pellets, but usually not this large." Lampitt, who is expected to make a full recovery, says he might make a keychain out of it, once he's done just holding it.
