2004 f150 lariat crew cab truck is extremely maintained and is in mint condition I'm very fanatical with all my cars and have had this truck for over 4 years and put a lot of money into it. If it ever needed anything I went above and beyond mostly because my father owns a automotive repair shop and I do the work my self. Truck has had all mechanical's performed tranny flush,dif's changed oil every 3k (all ams oil products), recently ball joints w/ control arms, wheel bearings, tie rods, sway bar links, (all moog w/grease fittings), cooling system flush w/ upper lower hoses thermostat belt ect... All motor craft parts, front braces were done not long ago as we'll. last moth I rebuilt the entire rear from wheel to wheel includings eaton tru-trac rear dif, Yukon gears, install kit, axle seals, pinion bearing ect..., and new ford calipers, lines, pads, rotors.

I purchased from original owner family truck was always serviced at local ford dealer and have all records up to 68k miles when I bought it. It has had towels on seats since new and the drivers seat shows very little wear! I keep the bottom of the truck just as clean as the rest so no rust either. At this point, he has a career of showing up around the world to do vehicular stunts, and he's still able to go racing as well. It's a pretty sweet niche to carve out. Recently, Block was in Barbados to participate in Top Gear Live and the first event of the Global Rallycross Championship season, and Ford Racing produced a short video to show off his exploits.
It looked like a great show. Block got to race Lewis Hamilton in a Mercedes-Benz Formula One car and had a very weird crash during a Rallycross race that put his Ford Fiesta on its roof. Top Gear also released an extended look at Block and Hamilton's spectacle with the two of them expertly sliding around. Ford announces first non-pursuit-rated police car ever
Wed, 18 Sep 2013Ford announced its first non-pursuit-rated Police Interceptor ever, based on the Taurus, which employs the smaller 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine in place of similar pursuit-rated Police Interceptors powered by naturally aspirated 3.5-liter and 3.7-liter V6s and the top-spec 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6. Officially called the Special Service Police sedan, the car was commissioned at the request of law-enforcement agencies that desire a more fuel-efficient vehicle for detectives, administrators and campus police, who don't necessarily need pursuit-rated vehicles.
The 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine produces 240 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque, but more importantly, it allows the SSP sedan to achieve somewhere in the neighborhood of 22 miles per gallon city and 32 mpg highway, which are the civilian 2.0-liter Taurus' official EPA ratings. Ford estimates that the SSP sedan will get 20 mpg city, 30 mpg highway and 23 mpg combined, with the help of Active Grille Shutters that open to allow more cooling air through to the radiator, or close to optimize aerodynamics and fuel economy. Those numbers compare favorably to the discontinued Crown Victoria-based Interceptor's 14 mpg city and 21 mpg highway and the newer Taurus-based cars equipped with V6s, the most fuel efficient of which gets 18 mpg city and 26 mpg highway.
If it was driven 90,000 miles over the course of three years, a 2.0-liter SSP sedan would save law enforcement agencies $5,042.92 versus the Crown Vic, Ford estimates. The EPA is expected to post official fuel-economy numbers for the SSP sedan in December. Until then, read the press release below for more information.
