1994 Ford f-150 2wd regular cab long bed, Kargo masters ladder rack, diamond plate bed rails, rubber bed mat, A/C cassette with i-pod connection, new radiator, new alternator, new a/c compressor, top end rebuild at 105K. The truck was bought brand new by my father-inlaw in 1994. I got the truck 7 years ago. I got caught in a hail storm 4 years ago and the truck was totaled as they estimated $5400 in hail damage. I spent $3000 having the truck completely repainted and restored by a friend on the side. 4 years later the trucks paint looks new still and only has one spot of rust starting to come out by the rear driver's side wheel. Only other additional problem would be it will need tires soon other than that is is mechanically sound and ready for a new owner. I have the inspection papers where I had the truck inspected and the title listed as rebuilt and have a clear title for it now since the hail damage. Good solid truck with a free enclosed 6 by 12 trailer as it does not have a title and I can't get one for it. I bought the trailer off of a lady that it was left with her by an exboyfriend with no title and the vin plate is a sticker and is completely faded out so you can't read the vin to get another one. I am told you can tag it in PA as abandoned trailer and Maryland as home made trailer other than that please do your own research before buying. I bought it to use on a jobsite as storage and now the job is over and I no longer need either of these. Trying to clean out my yard of some extra vehicles. With the buy it now I will MD inspect and put newer tires on it if needed or I have a low reserve to move it quickly. Feel free to e-mail with any questions or call 410-251-7218. Thanks for looking, Jamie

2015 Ford S-Max adds all-wheel drive, adaptive steering
Fri, 03 Oct 2014The Blue Oval's 'One Ford' mantra has seen rapid commonization of the automaker's products across markets, but North America still has to look from afar at most of the company's Max-branded people movers, including this new S-Max. That's a bit of a shame - we like the space efficiency and above-average driving dynamics of the C-Max models we do get, but seeing this updated seven-seat small minivan makes us want the One Ford initiative to extend even further.
The new model's changes include an updated powertrain range including a 1.5-liter EcoBoost four with 158 horsepower, and a larger, 237-horsepower, 2.0-liter model, along with a pair of revised lower-emissions 2.0-liter diesels. The big news, however, is the advent of available all-wheel drive, something that hasn't been offered since the S-Max first went on sale back in 2006.
On the technology front, the S-Max is the first European model to receive Ford Adaptive Steering, a variable-ratio technology we recently sampled in a prototype Fusion that is expected to go into production on the next-generation Edge. The S-Max also receives a new aluminum-intensive integral link rear suspension, packaged to continue to fit up to 32 different seating combinations. Safety equipment is always a prime concern in kinschleppers like the S-Max, and to that end, this new model receives pre-collision assist technology and LED headlamps.
Ford opens 88 new dealerships in China in a single day
Mon, 23 Jun 2014"Ford opened 88 dealerships in China last year." "Ford opened 88 dealerships in China during the first half of 2014." "Ford opened 88 dealerships in China last month." None of those statements - even the last one - would seem unbelievable. Saying "Ford opened up 88 dealerships in China last Thursday," though, is a bit more dramatic.
Yes, on June 19 alone, Ford opened the doors on nearly 100 showrooms in the People's Republic, boosting the Blue Oval's total presence in the country to 750 dealerships. Of course, while an overabundance of dealers in the US proved troublesome for American manufacturers back in 2008 and 2009, there's no such concern in China. Considering the country's huge population and the breakneck pace of the local auto industry, you could be forgiven for being surprised Ford only has 750 outlets at this stage.
What's notable about this most recent push, besides the sheer volume of new stores, is their location. Over three-quarters of the new dealerships are in so-called Tier 4 cities, which are smaller towns that still contain millions of people. This fits with Ford's strategy in China of avoiding the bigger battlegrounds that are already dominated by competitors and focusing on setting up shop in newer markets that may have been overlooked, according to Automotive News.
Ford will build Hackmobile out of Transit Connect Wagon
Fri, 27 Dec 2013What you see in the above image is a rendering of the Hackmobile Transit Connect Wagon. What is that? It's a "mobile fabrication and hacking unit" that includes tools for metal- and woodworking, 3D and electronics fabrication, a three-axis CNC machine called "The Fabber," a video projector and screen, an air compressor, an 84x48-inch work surface that folds out like a Murphy bed and oh so much more. When not in use, all of the implements fold neatly into the back of Ford's award-winning van.
But perhaps the more important question is why is that? Because Make Magazine held an Ultimate Maker Vehicle Challenge in conjunction with Ford in which ten teams created were charged with creating "the ultimate Ford Transit Connect Wagon for the do-it-yourself enthusiast." Team Twin Cities Maker won the competition with the Hackmobile, and in addition to winning $10,000, Ford has declared it's actually going to build the thing - which is great, because if they can actually engineer a road-legal Hackmobile Transit Connect Wagon as envisioned, the inevitable A-Team movie reboot might need to think about including it.
Check out the video below for a cheeky walk-through of the Hackmobile, and get all the particulars in the press release below that.
