UP FOR SALE IS A 1972 FORD F100 SHORTBED WITH A 360 V8 IN IT. I BOUGHT IT FROM SOUTH CAROLINA A COUPLE YEARS BACK AND DONT HAVE TIME TO MAKE IT INTO WHAT I WANTED TO. IT HAS THE NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR THAT A 40 YEAR OLD TRUCK WOULD HAVE. OVERALL ITS IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE. IT HAS RUST ON THE CAB DRIP RAILS AND ALONG THE BED SEAM ALSO. PRETTY COMMON FOR THIS BODY STYLE OF FORD. IT DOES RUN PRETTY GOOD, I ONLY DRIVE IT LOCALLY ONCE IN AWHILE AND IT HAS NEVER BROKEN DOWN ON ME. THE TRANSMISSION WAS BRAND NEW WHEN I BOUGHT THE TRUCK AND HAS MAYBE 500 MILES ON IT. THE TIRES AND RIMS I PUT ON LAST YEAR AND I THINK THEY ARE UNDER 300 MILES ON THEM. I WILL BE HONEST AS I CAN IF U HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT IT. I DO HAVE SOME ORIGINAL PAPERWORK WITH IT FROM WHEN IT WAS BOUGHT NEW. EMAIL ME WITH QUESTIONS. MAY CONSIDER A TRADE.

2014 Ford Fiesta gets fuel economy bump to 41 mpg
Fri, 07 Jun 2013The 2014 Ford Fiesta is in showrooms now with refreshed styling and new performance ST model, but it's what isn't yet available that should help the Fiesta stand out from the growing crowd of subcompacts. Aside from the new 1.0-liter EcoBoost model coming later this year, Ford recently told us that a new Fiesta SFE trim level is on the way that should put the updated Fiesta at the top of its class for fuel economy.
The new Fiesta SFE will hit an estimated 41 miles per gallon on the highway when equipped with the six-speed automatic transmission. The current listing on fueleconomy.gov shows the 2014 Fiesta getting up to 29 mpg city and 39 highway, but the SFE will get minor aero tuning and a recalibrated engine controller to help bump the highway figure past rivals like the Chevrolet Sonic and Nissan Versa - both of which top out at 40-mpg highway. There's still no word as to when the small 1.0-liter EcoBoost will show in the US, but Ford has indicated that engine's fuel economy isn't expected to be released until October.
Former Ford president, Jaguar chairman Nick Scheele dead at 70
Sun, 20 Jul 2014We have the privilege here at Autoblog of reporting a lot of good news, but it is our duty as well to report the bad news and sad news as well. And this is one of those occasions as the automotive industry mourns the passing of one of its leaders.
Nick Scheele was born in the UK in 1944 and joined the Ford Motor Company upon graduating from the University of Durham in 1966, staying within the Blue Oval's portfolio for the entirety of his career. After moving to North America in 1978, he rose through the ranks to become president of Ford's Mexican operations in 1988. After acquiring Jaguar, Ford appointed Scheele as its chairman.
Scheele subsequently acted as chairman of all of Ford's European operations, making difficult decisions to take the division out of the red and into the black. He briefly headed up Ford's North American division before he was appointed in 2001 as president and chief operating officer of the global automaker, working under CEO Bill Ford following the departure of Jacques Nasser departure and retaining the role until his retirement in 2005.
Meet Floyd Pullin, 102-year-old honorary president of Ford trucks [w/video]
Wed, 28 Aug 2013When we talk about trucks we often talk about how loyal truck owners are; it's men like Floyd Pullin who provide the proof. The 102-year-old man from Confluence, Pennsylvania has only owned Ford products since the 1920s, and he's done so well by Ford Trucks that the division named him honorary president for a day, not long after he took delivery of his latest ride, a 2013 F-150 STX.
That's the 16th Ford he's owned. If he bought his first when he was 16, he'd have flipped into a new car or truck about every five years. For 86 years. Not a bad run of business for either side.
Ford Trucks made a video to wish Pullin a happy birthday, which was celebrated at his local Ford dealership and was visited by a Pennsylvania state senator. You can watch it below.
