1971 Ford F-100 Ranger XLT Pickup. Truck spent most of its life in the south! Originally a 360 V8 truck and was upgraded to a built up 390 V8!!! C6Auto transmission. Motor has been re-built with performance cam, high rise intake and 4 barrel Edelbrock carb, electric choke. Power 4 wheel drum brakes and power steering. Runs and drives excellent. The entire truck has been inspected and is in good working order. Custom dual exhaust and stainless steel headers. The truck sounds really good! Older repaint, in the original WimbledonWhite. The body is in good condition, not perfect, but a really nice driver. The rocker panels are in good shape, the driver door has some surface rust atthe bottom, and the passenger door is in good shape. The floors have beenpatched and repaired. The cab corners are the only bad part. One side is fair and the other is rusted out. The bed isin good shape and the tailgate as some small rust spots but is very minor. Options include: Power Steering, power brakes, Wipers, AM/FM CDSony Radio, Upgraded headliner with molded 4 speakers, Hazard lights switch, cargolight, tachometer, gauge pod, carpet, 15 inch chrome steel moon wheels, Michelin tires, bed rails, chrome accents, original chrome western swing lock mirrors and spray in bed liner. I also have a standard Marti Report for the truck that goes with it. Every option in the truck works. The interior is inexcellent condition. There is a scratch in the windshield on the passenger side from a bad wiperblade.
If you are looking for a really nice fun HOT ROD driver to take to shows and tool around town, this truck is a must!
I also have a standard Mari Reprot for the truck that is included.

Shelby to auction 2012 GT350 No. 1 in Vegas
Thu, 19 Sep 2013With Shelby preparing to wind down production of its brutal GT350, a 624-horsepower Mustang that's meant to go up against the Roush Stage 3 in the world of tuned Ford ponycars, the Las Vegas-based tuner is looking to give back to one lucky customer. It'll auction off the very first GT350 ever produced, at the 2013 Barrett-Jackson auction in Las Vegas, a three-day event that runs from September 26 through September 28.
The GT350 is a monster, with a 5.0-liter, supercharged V8 that's been tuned well past 600 horsepower in a time when Ford's own Shelby-branded GT500 barely reached 550 horsepower. The GT350 is much louder than Ford's effort, too, both visually and audibly. The wide body look isn't what we'd call conventional, but on a car that sounds and goes like this, something extreme is needed. According to Shelby American's vice president of production, Gary Davis, "Carroll was very excited about the new wide body option, so that was included on this car. It's the first 2012 GT350 serial number from our anniversary year. It is a very special car." Wilwood brakes, a massaged suspension, and some very fat, sticky tires add to the Shelby experience.
This particular GT350 will be lot number 750, and will cross the Barrett-Jackson stage on Sunday, September 28.
Ford and 'Dirty Jobs' pitchman Mike Rowe part ways [w/videos]
Thu, 20 Feb 2014Former Dirty Jobs host Mike Rowe has one less job as of today - the pitchman is no longer a pitchman for Ford, with yesterday's announcement from Rowe ending a seven-year partnership between the TV host and the Blue Oval.
Rowe made the announcement to political pundit Glenn Beck, saying the two are "going in different directions" and wishing Ford "every possibly success that any car company could ever have," according to The Detroit News. Rowe and Ford got together in 2005, right around the time the 51-year-old came to prominence as the host of Dirty Jobs and the narrator for Deadliest Catch, two of the Discovery Channel's most popular shows.
Take a look below for a few video snippets of Rowe's tenure at Ford.
