I am selling this as a parts truck!

Not a running truck!

"AS IS"

The truck ran good a few years ago except for a problem

of not getting fuel to the carb. At this time, my wife was

having medical issues and was diagnosed with cancer so I

just didn't have the time to figure out the problem. I parked

it in the pasture and it has sat there until now.

The body has some damage but no rust through.

It's the original paint. It also has:

Hitch

Dual Tanks

Good Tires, about 1/2" tread.

Spare Tire that has never been on the ground.

All the glass is good.

I also have New wheel well trim for all 4 wheel wells! I paid

$124 for it but that will go with the truck.

NO Battery.

This would make a good project truck or a good parts truck!

NADA:

Low:  $3,275

Average:  $7,425

High:  $12,725

Monsoon rains disrupt production for Ford, BMW in India

Wed, Dec 2 2015

Even modern production techniques can be stymied by Mother Nature. This was demonstrated most recently in India, as torrential, monsoon rains caused a deluge that forced multiple automakers to suspend production. Ford, Renault, and BMW all halted work at their Indian facilities around the southern city of Chennai, also known as Madras. The annual rains disrupted public transport around the city, preventing employees from making the trek into city's factories. According to Automotive News, Chennai saw 48 inches of precipitation last month alone, which is more than Seattle, WA saw in all of 2014. While Ford and BMW closed things down for all of December 1, Renault just cancelled a pair of shifts at its Chennai factory. This is the second time in the past month that automakers in southeast India have been forced to stop production due to severe flooding, and things aren't likely to improve. According to The Weather Channel, forecasts call for thunderstorms over five of the next seven days, while the chance of rain won't fall below 80 percent until December 8. Ford, Renault, and BMW are far from the only automakers that could stand to be impacted by the rains. The city has been nicknamed "The Detroit of India" for its extreme automotive presence. Daimler, Hindustan, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, and Nissan all own factories in the region. Toyota, Ford decide to end hybrid collaboration before it starts

Tue, 23 Jul 2013

Not all so-called Memorandum of Understanding pacts end in actual collaborations. For instance, after a two-year "feasibility study," Toyota and Ford have just announced that they will not be developing hybrid systems for use in light trucks and SUVs as previously planned, and the two automakers will instead continue to develop their own hybrid technology independently.
The would-be collaboration was first announced in August of 2011, and would have seen a rear-wheel-drive hybrid platform that would "improve the efficiency of trucks and SUVs while still allowing them to be driven in the way customers expect," according to our initial post on the topic.
Keep in mind that this announcement isn't to say we shouldn't expect hybrid pickups and SUVs from the two automakers, but that they probably aren't coming very soon - Ford says it will have a system "before the end of this decade" and we haven't heard much from Toyota on the hybrid truck front since the 2008 A-BAT Concept (pictured above) - and that they will not share any components between them (and they never have, for what it's worth).
