I bought this SUV from the original owner last summer, good friend, to get me through the winter. I think these are some of the smoothest best driving SUV's around. This was the first year of the new design with independent rear suspension and 3 rows of seats. This has the big 5.4 liter engine.
The good: Drives perfect. Absolutely no problems. Doesn't leak anything, or burn anything. I replaced the COP's with MSD coils packs, and new plugs at 163,000 miles. I also replaced the throttle position sensor and crank position sensor. Has incredible throttle response. Everything works as it should, windows, locks, lights etc. It has a toe package, and new tires, replaced less than 2000 miles back.
The bad: It isn't pretty. Lots of dings and scratches. There is a decent dent and crack in the passenger rear bumper. The aftermarket brush guard is beat up. The drivers seat is torn, but the rest of the interior is really nice. The CD player does not work, but the radio works and sounds great. The dash area is missing a plate under the radio.
This is a great toe vehicle or people mover. It is safe and runs perfect. I would drive it anywhere. The coils and tires alone are worth over two grand. I can send more pics and answer any questions you may have about the truck. I'm happy to show it locally to anyone interested and would prefer that people see it and drive it. Sold as is. Ken Block rally cars go blue in the face (and everywhere else)
Wed, 23 Jan 2013Well at least we now know why Ken Block "just ain't care" about smashing up his Ford Fiesta rally car recently. It's because he's getting a full brand makeover including a new team name, new paint scheme and even a new headquarters. Formerly known as Monster World Rally Team, Block and his Fiesta will now be competing under the Hoonigan Racing Division name, which is based out of a new 12,000 square foot facility located in Park City, UT.
As you can tell in the image above, Hoonigan Racing will replace the familiar black, white and green paint scheme with a more colorful design featuring plenty of blue, purple and red; the Monster Energy logo retains some of the car's green. The new paint scheme was inspired by Block's love of skateboard graphics from the '80s and early '90s as well as "Miami Vice-era" speedboats.
Block will continue to compete in multiple rally racing series such as Global RallyCross, World Rally Championship and X Games. The new headquarters features office space on one side and a shop for the cars on the other side. The building features plenty of stuff you'd expect from a company designed around Ken Block, including a massive gaming station for racing video games, recycled shipping containers used throughout the facility and a black bear.

Wed, Feb 4 2015Oh Ford, you've already done a lot for us today, introducing the bound-for-America Focus RS and all. But then you go ahead and add onto this day of good news by handing a prototype of the new all-wheel-drive rocket to drift maestro Ken Block and capture it all on video. Block does his usual, slipping and sliding and drifting the over-315-horsepower hot hatchback through Ford's Cologne, Germany factory, before making a final and surprising appearance at the unveiling of the new RS to European media. It's all as entertaining as it sounds, and gives us plenty of chances to hear the 2.3-liter EcoBoost at full bellow. Related Video:
