Up for sale is a 2005 Ford Excursion Diesel 4x4. It has 43,000 miles. Well Maintained, 1 Owner. It is completely original and as it came from the factory. The heat and A/C both work excellent. The Tires have about 90% Tread life remaining. It is fully loaded minus the rear DVD Player. Options- -Limited Package -Power windows, locks, mirrors, seats, pedals. -Cruise Control. -Towing Package. -Cold Weather Package with Engine Block Heater -Rear Captains Chairs. -6 Disc CD Changer -Steering Wheel mounted Stereo and Climate Control Buttons. -Trailer Brake Controller. -Key Pad unlock on Drivers Door -Digital Overhead Console -Rear Parking Sensors.
The Exterior is in good shape for its age, the body is straight and the paint has a good shine to it. It wasn't the nicest day out and I dont have the highest quality camera so its hard to capture the brightness and shine of the paint but it looks nice in person. There are a few very small scratches here and there as can be expected from an 8 year old truck but it looks good in person. -It drives nice and smoothly. Both the Engine and Transmission are smooth as glass. There are NO mechanical problems with the truck. It has no leaks of any kind. It runs excellent.
I have done my best to describe the truck as accurately and as honestly as possible. This is a nice Ford Excursion but do expect some signs of use as it is an 8 year old truck. 2014 Ford Fiesta gets fuel economy bump to 41 mpg
Fri, 07 Jun 2013The 2014 Ford Fiesta is in showrooms now with refreshed styling and new performance ST model, but it's what isn't yet available that should help the Fiesta stand out from the growing crowd of subcompacts. Aside from the new 1.0-liter EcoBoost model coming later this year, Ford recently told us that a new Fiesta SFE trim level is on the way that should put the updated Fiesta at the top of its class for fuel economy.
The new Fiesta SFE will hit an estimated 41 miles per gallon on the highway when equipped with the six-speed automatic transmission. The current listing on fueleconomy.gov shows the 2014 Fiesta getting up to 29 mpg city and 39 highway, but the SFE will get minor aero tuning and a recalibrated engine controller to help bump the highway figure past rivals like the Chevrolet Sonic and Nissan Versa - both of which top out at 40-mpg highway. There's still no word as to when the small 1.0-liter EcoBoost will show in the US, but Ford has indicated that engine's fuel economy isn't expected to be released until October.
Ford unveils Mustang 50th anniversary logo, plans merchandise
Tue, 26 Mar 2013The Ford Mustang turns 50 years old this year, and this is the logo that will announce the milestone occasion on a special line of merchandise. The graphic is the result of an internal design competition, and Ford will give 50 different companies the license to use it on traditional logo merchandise like shirts and watches, along with some untraditional items like pinball machines.
Ford is going to begin the celebrations at this week's New York Auto Show and continue them throughout the year, but April 17 is the official birthday of the the pony car that just won't quit. You can expect to start seeing anniversary merchandise in the next couple of weeks.
Ford recalling select Taurus, Explorer and Lincoln MKS models over fuel tanks
Sun, 31 Mar 2013Ford is recalling certain 2012 Taurus, 2013 Explorer and 2012 Lincoln MKS models over fuel tank concerns. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, vehicles built between July 19, 2011 and March 15, 2012 may have been built with fuel tanks that have a "marginally sealed seam" on the side. Those seams may not provide the strength necessary to protect the tank from rupture during a collision. They may also leak. The recall covers a total of 3,037 vehicles. NHTSA says that leaked fuel, in the presence of an ignition source, could easily cause a fire.
Dealers will inspect the tanks and replace them as need be free of charge. Owners can expect to be notified once the campaign begins on or around April 22, 2013. You can read the full NHTSA recall notice below for more information.
