THIS EXCURSION RUNS AND DRIVES EXCELLENT. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS GREAT,THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE WORKS FINE ALSO. IT HAS REAR HEAT AND A/C AND THE A/C BLOWS COLD. IT ALSO HAS HEATED LEATHER FRONT SEATS. THERE ARE NOT WARNING LIGHTS ON AT ALL AND ALL THE POWER OPTIONS WORKS JUST AS THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO.
THERE ARE NO ISSUES WITH THE ENGINE AT ALL.IT HAS HAD THE INJECTORS REPLACED,THE EGR HAS BEEN DELETED AND HAS JUST HAD THE HPOP REPLACED WITH A NEW FORD PUMP,NOT AFTERMARKET REBUILT AND NEW OIL COOLER. THE ENGINE DOES NOT HAVE A PROGRAMMER ON IT. THE OIL,FILTER AND COOLANT HAS JUST BEEN CHANGED. IT HAS NEAR NEW TIRES ON IT. IT HAS A REAR ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM IN IT ALSO THE INTERIOR IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION,THE WORST PART IS THE FRONT SEAT ARM REST ARE WORN AND I HAVE SHOWN PICTURES OF THAT. IT DOES NOT APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN SMOKED IN. THE BODY IS VERY NICE BUT DOES HAVE SOME LIGHT SCRATCHES AROUND THE TRUCK,THE WORST OF WHICH IS ON THE DRIVERS DOOR AND THE TAILGATE DOORS.THE RT REAR DOOR AND QUARTER PANEL HAS BEEN PREVIOUSLY REPAINTED BUT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THERE WAS ANY MAJOR DAMAGE AT ALL. I DRIVE THIS DAILY SO IT MAY HAVE A FEW MORE MILES ON IT,IT WILL BE PARKED WHEN IT IS SOLD. Ford auctioning off F-35-themed 2015 Mustang for charity
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Ford's been a supporter of EAA AirVenture, a huge, annual air show held in Oshkosh, WI, for several years now, with one of its most notable contributions being a modified Ford Mustang, designed to look like one of America's great fighting aircraft. There was an SR-71 Mustang, based on the legendary spy plane, a Red Tails edition, which honored the ground-breaking Tuskegee Airmen of World War II, as well as Blue Angels and Thunderbird Mustangs, based on America's two great military aerial demonstration teams.
Each car is auctioned off, with all proceeds going to the EAA Young Eagles program, which introduces kids to the joy of flight. For the 2014 AirVenture, which runs from July 28 to August 3, the one-off pony car is based on the new-for-2015 Mustang, and America's latest fighting aircraft - the controversial F-35 Lightning II.
The unique Mustang sports titanium paint scheme, with both glossy and matte sections, as well as yellow-and-blue trim and decal elements inspired by CF-1, the first F-35 test plane. A carbon-fiber front splitter and rear diffuser add some visual eye candy, while the interior boasts a set of Recaro seats. Ford also opted to fit unique wheels and a brawnier rear spoiler, to tie everything together.
Ford confirms launch of new Tourneo vans and Ecosport in Europe for Geneva
Sun, 24 Feb 2013We've already seen plenty of what the Geneva Motor Show will have in store for us in less than two weeks, but most of the confirmed debuts that were announced so far have generally been luxury or performance cars. Ford, on the other hand, will be showing off a couple of its new family-friendly models for European buyers to enjoy.
On the larger side of things, the full range of Tourneo vans (shown above) will be on display, including the introduction of the new Tourneo Courier model, but Ford will also be showing off the all-new EcoSport crossover, which is based on the automaker's Global B platform and will be positioned beneath the Kuga, better known here as the Escape. The subcompact EcoSport was originally unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show last April.
Martini Mustang is a 'what if moment' gone right

This is Steve Strope's Ford Mustang in the classic fastback bodystyle, and as you'll notice, it sports the signature colors of Martini Racing, a livery that's as legendary as any Gulf Racing-styled car. But the red, white and blues of the Martini stripe down this Mustang's middle tell only a very small part of the story, in the latest video from Petrolicious.
What would you guess is under the hood? A 289-cubic-inch V8? Maybe a 302, or some absurd Ford crate engine? Maybe Strope went all Tokyo Drift - he's actually responsible for the "Hammer" Plymouth Satellite driven by Vin Diesel at the end of the movie - and found an RB26DETT to drop into the pony car? You'd be wrong on all counts.
This mad, mad man somehow finagled a Ford-Lotus engine from a 1966 Indianapolis 500 car into the Mustang's engine bay. Yes, a Mustang with an engine designed for a 160-mile-per-hour, open-wheel racecar. That's like someone in 40 years dropping McLaren's 2.4-liter V8 from the MP4-28 into a Scion FR-S. It'd just make a monster.
