This is a well equipped 2009 Ford Escape Sport XLT 4WD vehicle.  Prior salvage due to collision on the rear driver side door and quarter panel.  Door was replaced and rear quarter panel repaired. There was damage to the frame, engine, or tranmission at all.  There was only body work that was needed.
Tires are Goodyear Fortera HL's with about 12k on them.  They are rated to last many many miles and were very expensive. Work was completed and I have been driving it for around 6 months.  There is nothing wrong with the vehicle other than I need a pickup truck.  Engine had regular maintenance (oil, transmission, fuel, air and diff) with liquids and filters recently done.
Had Husky liners in it since day one and interior is great.  Non-smoker.  It has brand new 21" Bosch evolution wipers.  They are a size bigger than OEM and not only wipe a great surface area but are also one the longest lasting and toughest wipers you can buy.
There are a few spots that could use touch up paint including the rims, hood, and one spot near gas cap door.  Everything works as it should (Power seats, windows, sunroof, etc...)

Vehicle will need TPMS (Tire pressure monitor sensors) to make light go off on dash.  I drove it with the sensors and checked the tire pressure myself.
Deposit is non refundable so please be mindful of what you are clicking on.
I can show the car locally and I can help with delivery from out of state but, I have never done it before so please be patient.
There is no warranty but you can purchase one through ford. Vehicle sold as is.
I have an entire folder of receipts that will come with it.

This is a great deal, save thousands!!!

Ford wins second consecutive International Van of the Year award with Transit Connect

Wed, 18 Sep 2013

The redesigned 2014 Ford Transit Connect isn't even on sale yet, but it's already making its presence felt around the world. At a commercial vehicle expo in Russia, the Transit Connect was named the International Van of the Year.
Ford's small work van edged out the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter by just seven points to allow Ford to grab this honor for the second consecutive year, which it won last year with the Transit Custom. Not only does this make Ford the first to ever win the award in back-to-back years, but it's also the fifth time the automaker has won this award since 2003 (two with the Transit Connect, two with the fullsize Transit and once with the Transit Custom). Ford congratulates itself for the accomplishment in a press release posted below.

Mulally will stay close to Ford after he steps down, plans to advise Fields [w/video]

Fri, 27 Jun 2014

Ford CEO Alan Mulally has less than a week left in his role of leading the Blue Oval before he hands off duties to Mark Fields on July 1. It doesn't look like Mulally is going to be shuffling off into his retirement anytime soon, though. The 68-year-old is being rather secretive about his next move, but he tells Bloomberg in a recent interview that he plans to stay close to Ford. Also, if Fields wants to ask for any advice, Mulally is happy to help.
Mulally took over at Ford in 2006 and led the company through a seriously rough patch in the auto industry. According to Bloomberg, he became famous or his Thursday meetings where executives were forced to deal with any problems before they could leave. Since announcing his retirement from Ford in May, Mulally has been insuring a smooth transition of power by traveling the world to all of company's major locations and saying goodbye to employees and dealers.
In terms of the future at Ford, Mulally doesn't predict any big changes in management style because the rest of the executive team is staying in place. He believes that Fields is going to maintain the processes already in place to keep things going. After all, it seems to be working. The company is predicting a return to profitability in Europe next year and is opening 88 new dealers in China. If the business could get its recalls under control, things could get even better.

UK auto magazine says this is the best car commercial of all time [w/videos]

Thu, 20 Dec 2012

There have been many great car commercials over the years, but is it possible to define the best? Well, Ad Week recently took a crack at it by rating the top commercials of the year by looking at their view counts on YouTube, but Auto Express took a more democratic approach by putting the decision to a vote. Just after Thanksgiving, Auto Express came up with a list of the 20 popular commercials, and it tasked its readers with choosing the winner for the best car ad of all time. The winner? Honda's 2003 commercial for its then-new European Accord titled "The Cog."
While the ad never aired in the US, most car people have surely seen the impressive Rube Goldberg-style spot. In fact, the only commercial on this list that we saw on US television was the Volkswagen ad "The Force," but many of the others have become viral videos, including transforming and dancing Citroën C4. Of the 19 other commercials that vied for the title of best ad of all time, only the Ford Puma "Steve McQueen" commercial gave Honda a run for its advertising money.
Scroll down to watch Auto Express' top five commercial in order and to check out a press release, then let us know some of your favorite car commercials in Comments.
