I guarantee you like this car or you don't have to take it at pickup I guarantee you like this car or you don't have to take it at pickup Folks this is a nice one... This is super nice 2011 Ford Edge AWD with only 19,000 miles. This was bought from an insurance company. This Runs and Drives Perfect FLAWLESSLY. This was "deemed" a flood. At most this had water in the floor only. We did nothing to this car. It was dry when we got it. Super Clean interior. We did nothing to it. The car has a few scratches minor (some on the hood). This has an issue with the Airbags with the light being on. The light goes off sometimes and sometimes it comes on. It has a brand new dealer SRS module but the light is still intermittent (we dont have the ford computer). All airbags are good. Besides the srs light Everything works perfect. This smells nice inside and It is a clean car. Drives like a brand new one. This is sold with a rebuilt title. There will be a $200 title fee added to for a dealer fee. This is sold with a Alabama "Rebuilt" title. This has already been inspected (previous salvage). This is taggable in any state as is. CALL or TEXT 256-759-0161 or Email tim@autovid.com for any questions on this vehicle. Bottom Line: Our feedback speaks for itself. This car drives like a BRAND NEW Car. Please don't ask if there are issues with the car. There are ZERO issues and it is no different than one at the dealer. I guarantee you like this car or you don't have to take it at pickup I guarantee you like this car or you don't have to take it at pickup Folks that are asking about the previous salvage title. A car gets a salvage title when an insurance company pays a car off. They do this to release the liability on the car and tax write off. If this where your car and someone hit you then you would hope and demand for a new car. This is how it gets paid out and a salvage title. If it were your fault then you might not get that option. Folks must understand that if you make a flood claim the insurance companies don't take the risk of liability and total them out. Even if it is a window rolled down and rain. For example if something fell on a door glass and broke it in the rain it will be "Deemed" a flood.

2015 Roush Stage 3 Mustang has 670 hp
Fri, May 8 2015My last speeding ticket was nearly two years ago while behind the wheel of a 2014 Roush Stage 3 Mustang. Considering the supercharged 5.0-liter V8 produced 575 horsepower – the lowest of the Stage 3's tunes – an encounter with the friendly folks at the Michigan State Police seemed inevitable. With the 2015 Stage 3 producing 95 more horsepower, if and when I drive the new supercharged 'Stang, another meeting with Michigan's finest seems likely. The combination of the Ford 5.0-liter V8 and a 2.3-liter TVS supercharger turns out 670 horsepower, which should have owners of the weightier Dodge Challenger Hellcat at least a bit nervous. All that power is complemented by 545 pound-feet of torque and what is almost certainly an ear-shattering exhaust note from the quad-tip pipes. On top of the RS3's trademark sound and speed, Roush has fitted the sixth-generation Mustang's body with a new "R7" aero kit that actually looks toned down from last year's car. 20-inch "Quicksilver" wheels are standard, although Roush is offering a pair of optional designs. Either way, Cooper RS3 tires are the rubber of choice. Prices for the Roush Stage 3 Mustang start at $21,995, not including the $32,300 starting price of a Mustang GT donor car. Scroll down for the official press release. Related Video: ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang Produces 670 HP May 7, 2015 – PLYMOUTH, MICHIGAN – ROUSH Performance is excited to announce final horsepower ratings for the all-new 2015 ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang. The RS3 is cranking out a heart-racing 670 horsepower and 545 lb-ft of torque to deliver the ultimate driving experience. All 670 horsepower are created as a direct result of the powerful combination of Ford's 5.0L V8 engine with ROUSH Performance's dynamic new 2015 2.3L TVS supercharger. The new ROUSH Mustang's generous power ratings impeccably compliment the RS3's list of standard and optional features, including the ROUSH Quad-Tip exhaust (with optional ROUSH Active Exhaust System), standard single-adjustable coilover suspension system (or optional competition-tuned 3-way adjustable system), and the fierce new "R7" aerobody. The 2015 ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang is not just a car – it's an experience. The RS3 truly bridges the gap between road car and race car, putting drivers behind the wheel of the ultimate uninhibited muscle car.
What's in a trademark? Sometimes, the next iconic car name
Thu, 07 Aug 2014
The United States Patent and Trademark Office is a treasure trove for auto enthusiasts, especially those who double as conspiracy theorists.
Why has Toyota applied to trademark "Supra," the name of one of its legendary sports cars, even though it hasn't sold one in the United States in 16 years? Why would General Motors continue to register "Chevelle" long after one of the most famous American muscle cars hit the end of the road? And what could Chrysler possibly do with the rights to "313," the area code for Detroit?
Reflecting on the Ford GT on its 10-year anniversary
Thu, 10 Apr 2014Ten years ago, during the bright-eyed enthusiasm of the early 2000s and before the collective automotive industry did its best Titanic impression, we had the Ford GT. An everyman's supercar like there'd never been (remember, this was before 638-horsepower Corvettes were a thing), the GT arrived with a supercharged, 5.4-liter V8 that produced 550 horsepower and graced this retro-styled rocket with an easy, sub-four-second sprint to 60 miles per hour.
Equal to the GT's performance were its looks. Inspired by the GT40 racers that dominated Le Mans and bested Ferrari in the 1960s, the sleek, low, almost-reptilian look of the GT was the absolute pinnacle of the retro styling that so defined the early 2000s.
Crank and Piston put together a video celebrating the ten-year-old GT, arguing that Ford is a bit too busy with the next-gen Mustang, which turns 50 next week, to do it themselves. In the short clip, there is gratuitous engine noise and supercharger whine, not to mention scenes of the white-on-red GT prowling the deserts and streets of Dubai. It's a bit short, but very nicely shot. Scroll down, have a look and be sure to turn up those speakers before getting started.
