Like new conditions, everything works, car was a North Carolina Forsyth County Sheriff Detective car - no rust. The car is original black - a very rare and unique color - NOT a repaint. The paint is super sharp and shiny and I give it a 8 out of 10 - and very few minor scratches . The car still looks and drives very nice, no antenna holes on the car, carpet floors, Cold A/C, Hot Heat, defroster works, AM/FM stereo, all seat belts and buckles in place, car has window tint all around, all (4) windows and doors are fully operational, tires are in great conditions all around (235/55/17), CLEAN TITLE, no accidents. The vehicle comes with a spare tire. Everything works in the car. Clean and Clear Title on hand, 3/15 Va State Inspection , Sold as is. Very fast car that needs nothing and is ready to go! NHTSA probing 2000-2003 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable models over throttle issue
Mon, 29 Oct 2012A potential issue with the speed control cable collar has got the 2003-20003 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable under the spotlight of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. If the collar breaks it can cause the throttle to be stuck open.
The issue is limited to vehicles with the 3.0-liter V6 Duratec. There are just 50 complaints so far out of 310,000 cars, but the NHTSA has begun an investigation into whether a recall should be issued.

But these days, many automakers are launching powerful, downsized engines that offer similar or better power output than their predecessors, all while offering improvements in fuel economy and emissions. These days, we're seeing automakers replacing eight-cylinder engines with turbocharged sixes, and the naturally aspirated six-cylinder motors are being phased out in favor of potent turbo fours. But Ford has gone even smaller, offering a three-cylinder, turbocharged engine with one single liter of displacement.
Sure, three-cylinder engines aren't anything new - they've been offered around the globe for ages. But Ford's EcoBoost 1.0L powerplant is perhaps the best application the Autoblog team has tested. Gone are the triple-cylinder complaints of yore - this engine doesn't sound anemic or buzzy, and there's healthy power output on tap. In fact, compared to the 1.6-liter inline-four that Ford also offers in the Fiesta, the 1.0-liter is more powerful, while boasting an impressive 45 miles per gallon on the highway.
This engine has already received numerous accolades, including winning the International Engine of the Year award in 2012, 2013 and 2014. The 1.0L EcoBoost will be available in the refreshed 2015 Ford Focus here in the US.
