2000 FORD CROWN VICTORIA LX
METALLIC SILVER with GREY LEATHER INTERIOR
FOR SALE BY OWNER.
I BOUGHT THE CAR OFF A 3 YEAR LEASE FROM A BUSINESS EXECTUTIVE IN 2003.
THE CAR IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. WITH NO DENTS, SCRATCHES, RUST. I WAXED THE CAR REGULARLY AND THE ORIGINAL PAINT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
THE ONLY ISSUE WITH THE PAINT IS A MINOR BLEMISH ON WHEEL OPENING OF EACH FRONT FENDER THAT CAN BE EASILY FIXED. YOU HAVE TO LOOK HARD TO SEE IT. THE REAR BUMPER HAS A FEW TYPICAL BLEMISHES THAT ALSO CAN BE TOUCHED UP.
FEATURES:
LX (LUXURY) MODEL LEATHER 6 WAY POWER FRONT SEATS, POWER WINDOWS, POWER LOMBAR SUPPORT, SPORT SUSPENSION, FACTORY 16" ALUMINUM WHEELS, VERY GOOD TIRES, BRAKES, TOW PACKAGE WITH AIR SUSPENSION. (BUT THE CAR NEVER WAS USED TO TOW ANYTHING).
IT ALSO HAS AUTOMATIC CLIMATE CONTROL AND PREMEIUM SOUND RADIO WITH CD PLAYER.
I AM AN AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC OWNER AND I MADE REGULAR OIL CHANGES WITH Mobil1 OIL, ALSO CHANGED TRANSMISSION FLUID AND FILTER SCREEN CHANGED 2X, RADIATOR FLUSHED WITH PRESTONE ANTI-FREEZE,
THE CAR RUNS GREAT. YOU WILL LOVE THE WAY ITS DRIVES AND STOPS. I REPLACED ALL BRAKES AND ROTORS RECENTLY.
THIS IS A GOOD SOLID CAR. DEPENDABLE TRANSPORTATION.
BRING YOUR PLATES AND DRIVE IT HOME. EVERYTHING WORKS.
EMAIL ME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR IF YOU WANT TO SEE A SPECIFIC PHOTO
MY VERY BOTTOM LINE IS $4,000.00 WHICH IS VERY REASONABLE.

XCAR stages epic drag race between Ford GT40, GT70 and GT
Mon, 19 Aug 2013XCAR has put together what it believes is a first - a drag race between Ford's legendary, Le Mans-winning GT40, the more recent GT supercar it inspired and the little-known GT70 rally car. The three mid-engined monsters were all built for very different purposes, and not surprisingly, they come to battle with very different powertrains.
The GT40 is powered by a thumping, naturally aspirated V8. This example, which looks like a Mark IV model, is likely powered by a 7.0-liter engine, although it's not entirely clear how much power it's putting down. The GT70, meanwhile, was Ford's response to the Lancia Stratos. Considering that the Lancia is one of the greatest rally cars in history and many of you are probably just hearing of the GT70 for the first time, you can imagine how much success Ford had with it. Only six were produced before a change in regulations doomed this mid-engined rally car.
The Ford GT, meanwhile, doesn't really need an introduction. 550 horsepower is on offer from a 5.4-liter, supercharged V8, which keeps the GT competitive even against more modern supercars. 60 miles per hour arrives in well under four seconds while the top speed sits at 212 mph. Not bad for a car that went out of production in 2006.
Auto critic calls out Corvette, Mustang and Cherokee faithful
Mon, 26 Aug 2013Most automotive purists fear change, but not without reason. Change, after all, did kill big-block V8s, along with most station wagons and manual transmissions. But change has also brought with it far more performance, safety and fuel economy - not to mention ridding the world of shag carpet interiors, bias-ply tires and those horrible motorized seatbelts of the early '90s.
By this time next year, the Chevy Corvette, Jeep Cherokee and next-generation Ford Mustang will all be on sale and will all, in some way, have angered or offended purists. To those critics, Mark Phelan of the Detroit Free Press is preemptively telling them to stop complaining - at least until they've all been driven. From the Corvette's square taillights and the Cherokee's radical nose to whatever pony car purists will harp on the 2015 Mustang for, Phelan's column points out the positives of automotive evolution and the negatives of staying the course for too long. That's fair enough, but do you think Phelan is on point, or all wet? Head on over to the Detroit Free Press to read his words, then have your say in Comments.
2016 Ford Focus RS leaked ahead of official debut
Tue, Feb 3 2015We won't officially see the new Ford Focus RS until the Blue Oval shows it to the world at an event on Tuesday, but here it is ahead of time, courtesy of the folks at Evo. As you can see, this is one hot little hatch, and if Evo's story is to be believed, those aggressive looks will be backed up with some pretty serious performance. Power is said to come from Ford's 2.3-liter EcoBoost inline four-cylinder engine, though the magazine's estimate of 250 horsepower seems awfully conservative to us (considering that's less than the current Focus ST). If earlier reports are to be believed, we think the RS will come packing more like 300 hp, if not more. For the first time, the Focus RS will use all-wheel drive with brake-operated torque-vectoring, and Evo says that up to 70 percent of the engine's power can be sent to the rear wheels. Hitting 60 miles per hour will reportedly take less than five seconds. Otherwise, it's business as usual, with a mean-looking exterior complete with the necessary aero bits (notice that wing!), and inside, we can see a beefy set of Recaro chairs. That's really all we know for now, but stay tuned for more when the Focus RS makes its official debut in the not-too-distant future. Related Video:
