2000 Ford Contour Special Edition Bi-Fuel Here we have a very clean 2000 Ford contour. This is no ordinary car it has been owned by the State of New York since new, and no expense has been spared in its maintenance. Oil Changes, Air Filter, Oil Filter, Tires, Tire Rotations, everything was done to the truck regularly by the book. Cars is very clean with no rust or rot, paint is in great shape. Brand new battery has just been installed. Interior is nice and clean. The car starts and drives like new. No lights of any kind on the dash, it is ready to be put on the road. Tires are in fair shape, brakes work great, the car has no issues and is in overall great-excellent condition. An added benefit is that this vehicle runs on both Gasoline AND natural gas. This means that is has the original gas tank and functions like any other gas car, but ALSO features a Compressed Natural Gas option. Natural gas is $2.60 in New York, so that alone is saving over $1 on every gallon of gas. There was a time not so long ago when opting for a base Ford Mustang meant getting little more than some sheetmetal, an anemic four-cylinder engine and what may very well have been the world's most disappointing automatic transmission. Uber hopes facilities in Detroit will help shape its autonomous future
Mon, Sep 19 2016Hot off the heels of unleashing its fleet of self-driving vehicles in Pittsburgh, PA, Uber announced plans to open a new facility in the Detroit, MI area, reports Automotive News. The new facility was announced at an event hosted by Society of Automotive Engineers in Detroit, MI. Uber's vice president of global vehicle programs Sherif Marakby revealed the news, reports Automotive News. The facility is meant to help the ride-sharing company collaborate with suppliers and automakers in the area. There's no word on where Uber will build the new facility or how big it will be, as those factors have yet to be determined. Just like Pittsburgh, PA, Detroit, MI could become another testing ground for the ride-sharing company. The latest move to open a facility in the Detroit area comes after Uber offered users in Pittsburgh the chance to ride in one of its autonomous vehicle as it looks to gain vital real-world testing. Uber is utilizing a fleet of modified Ford Fusions. Earlier this year in April, the automaker announced a partnership with Google, Lyft, Uber, and Volvo to develop autonomous cars. A new facility in Detroit would strengthen the partnership and help Uber, as well as Ford put autonomous vehicles on the road faster.
