1999 contour se sport This car has 14k Actual documented mile thru car fax & insurance company, was a one owner, non smoker, This car runs & drives like a new one, has pwr windows, locks, tilt, cruise, cd, alloys, pwr mirrors, rear spoiler, tires are new, the originals still had good tread was just showing some dry rot, this car belonged to an older person they just didnt have the need to drive it that much it never sat for long periods of time without being driven was always driven some, It wasnt for sale until the original owner got into a slight mishap it was damaged on the left front corner see before picture, All that was needed was a new front bumper, Thats the only thing that was replaced or painted front bumper only see all pict, It will have a rebuilt labelled title even though the damage was very minor the ins company considers a 99 model an old car they just paid the owners off & sold it to me, you are getting a like 99 model car I hope someone out there under stands what a once in a lifetime deal this is you wont have to do nothing to this car but put gas in it, call for a possible buy it now, or foe more info feel free to call David at 903-870-8582

Ford, GM to collaborate on 9- and 10-speed transmissions
Mon, 15 Apr 2013Back in October, there were reports that General Motors and Ford Motor Company were hard at work co-developing new nine- and ten-speed automatic transmissions, and now both automakers have confirmed this joint operation. While there are no specific vehicles mentioned to receive either transmission, a collaborative press release issued by GM and Ford mention that the transmission will be designed for front- and rear-wheel-drive cars, crossovers, trucks and SUVs.
These aren't the first powertrain components developed jointly between these cross-town rivals, either. The six-speed automatic currently used in vehicles like the Ford Edge, Ford Fusion, Chevrolet Cruze and Chevrolet Equinox was engineered in a similar fashion. As is the case with this existing transmission, both automakers will assist in the design, development and testing of the new transmissions, but each will build its own units in its own factories. Ford to build next F-150, outgoing model concurrently?
Wed, 24 Jul 2013Ford is rumored to be considering concurrent production for old and new F-150 models in a bid to minimize supply chain disruptions and inventory. Automotive News is reporting that the Blue Oval will build both the current F-150 and its replacement, which we showed you testing just last month, side by side for about half a year before switching over entirely to next-generation production.
As IHS Automotive analyst Mike Jackson told AN, "In order to ramp up, you have to retool...and that means you have to take capacity offline." Building both models alongside could allow Ford to cope with the still strong demand for the current F-150, while populating dealer supplies and working out supply chain kinks for the new model before making a full-time switch.
A loss of capacity when demand is so strong, even for a short period, could spell bad news for Ford, which nets an estimated 90 percent of its global profit on pickups and large SUVs. As AN states, Ford produces the F-150 in both Kansas City, Missouri and Dearborn, Michigan, which allows it to maintain some degree of flexibility in production. The new F-150 is expected to arrive at the 2014 North American International Auto Show as a 2015 model, with a design inspired by the Atlas Concept first shown at the Detroit Auto Show last January.
