I am sad to say I have to sell my restoration project .

This is a one family owned bronco !

My aunt bought it brand new in 89 then my dad bought it and I got it in 2009

When I got to it it had the rust already and needed quite a bit of work but I've put tons of time and work into restoring it .

Here is the story

In 1998 the original engine was blown due to engine being run without oil after an oil change. Nice ford mistake,  long story short we recieved a reman ford engine around. So new engine has about 75,000 miles on it . I purchased a new instrument cluster last year due to cold hot meter not working . New cluster reads 87,000 so it was a close as I could get at the time to actual engine miles .

Here is what I've done since receiving it

Entire new ac system blows ice cold .

New cooling system : radiator, water pump , thermostat, hoses , clutch and fan .

Electrical system:  plugs, wires , cap , rotor, ignition coil .

Air /fuel system  : fuel filter, air filter k&n idle air control valve,  pcv valve , throttle position sensor . New gas tank and fuel pump .

Brakes :  completely redone  all front brakes rotor pads and calipers rear brakes completely redone break booster hubs serviced and changed to warn locking hubs .

Steering : power steering pump , new dual front shocks and rear shocks . New transfer case.

Windows: tinted all windows and replaced window seals .

Interior : new headliner and sunvisors . I even had them carpet inside of middle box between seats .

Extras: custom husky floor liners , viper alarm with remote start and keyless entry . Premium sound system alpine deck pioneer component set in front  mb quart 6x9 and do sound amp . Nothing obnoxious just great sounding music . Flo master exhaust with nice sound again not obnoxious . Curt trailer hitch with 7 round plug . GPS had cord ran behind dash for aesthetics .

This truck runs and drives great and everything works like it should every button and switch Every gauge ! I'm OCD trust me . Which is rare in these trucks . The drivers seat arm is bad and there is a tear in seat . The rest of the interior is in awesome shape . If you are willing to put a little more love and money into this truck you could have a like new bronco !

Any questions just ask or you can call me at 804-357-1308 I want you to be happy with your purchase and enjoy this bronco as much as I have .

Good luck and happy bidding !!!

Ford Recalls '13 Escape For 11th Time

Fri, Aug 15 2014

Only in dealer showrooms for two years now, the 2013 Ford Escape has already been recalled for safety hazards 11 times. The most recent recall for the beleaguered vehicle came Friday, when the company announced it was recalling almost 160,000 Escapes and Focus ST hatchbacks from the '13 and '14 model years because of a wiring problem that could cause the engine to stall. Caused by a faulty wiring harness, Ford said the defect could result in reduced power, hesitation or outright stalling. The company said it knew of no crashes or injuries caused by the flaw. Customers affected will be notified by mail. It was the latest problem for a vehicle beset by recalls from the moment it started rolling off the assembly lines. Starting on July 6, 2012, the '13 Escapes have been recalled for an assortment of problems, including multiple hazards with fuel lines that could result in engine fires, fluid leaks in the engine that could also result in fires, problems with engines overheating, delays in airbags deploying and more. Does the new 2015 Ford Mustang have a burnout control system?

Tue, 10 Dec 2013

Whether it's lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring or automatic emergency braking, most of the electronic systems we see emerging on new vehicles focus on safety. But there are some there just for enthusiasts. We're talking about systems like automatic throttle blipping for perfect downshifts, or launch control to get that textbook acceleration from a standstill. But the latest system could prove just the opposite of the latter.
Although it has given us most of the details, Ford is still keeping certain elements of its new Mustang secret. But emerging reports may have the skinny on one system which Ford is trying is darnedest to keep under its hat for the time being. That, according to unnamed sources cited by Motor Authority, is burnout control.
The system is reportedly designed to help novices execute the perfect smokey burnout - sort of like launch control, but specifically the opposite. The system could, according to elaborative speculation, lock the front brakes while spooling up the engine to optimal revolutions before dumping (or indicating the driver to do dump) the clutch. A cloud of tire smoke and a long pair of skid marks would then ensue.

Spy shooter claims proof of upcoming aluminum Ford F-Series Super Duty

Thu, 26 Jun 2014

Ford has already confirmed that the 2015 F-150 (pictured above) was just the beginning for its more extensive use of aluminum. CEO Alan Mulally said it himself during the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. We've even already seen the future Raptor testing with an aluminum body. But a recent discovery from an intrepid spy photographer might indicate that the lightweight metal is coming to the Blue Oval's Super Duty pickups in their upcoming generation, as well.
According to Automotive News, a spy shooter in Colorado spotted a prototype for the next-gen F-350 testing. He happened to have a magnet on hand and got close enough to check the truck out. When he held it up to the metal in the bed, it didn't stick, which signaled to him a switch from steel to aluminum.
Obviously, this claim raises some questions. Given that it was a test vehicle, one possibility is that the Blue Oval is just evaluating the feasibility of switching to aluminum for the Super Duty trucks, not necessarily committed to it yet. Ford has been testing it quite exhaustively, after all. In fact, much of the rest of the truck in question was covered in camouflage, so it's possible that the magnet failed to work along the rest of the body not because it was aluminum, but because it wasn't powerful enough to get through the disguising material. Thus, the lightweight metal's use could be far less substantial than on the new F-150. Still, it was a clever idea for the cameraman to check things out and might have given us the first hint about brand's next heavy-duty models.
