Strong running Freshly rebuilt 400M w/ Custom RV cam and 4Bbl Edelbrock manifold and carb., Dual Exhaust, C-6 Automatic, Lockout hubs, Captains Chairs and Console (front) & Factory Folding Bench Seat (rear) A/C (Needs recharged), Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt Steering Wheel, Cruise Control, Pioneer Super-tuner AM/FM/Cassette Player, Chrome Grill Guard, Factory Luggage Rack and Opening Side Windows in the Shell Portion of the Removable rear cover, Factory Swing-away Spare Tire Rack, Electric Rear Window, Race Track Trim pkg., Aluminum Running Boards, 2" Lift Kit, Rancho Shocks and Steering Stabilizer, Front & Rear Anti-Sway Bars, Custom Chrome Wheels Sporting 33 x 12.50 x 15" Yokohama LT Geolander, Receiver Hitch and Electric Trailer Brake Module, Tinted Windows, 36 Gallon Fuel Tank.

This 36 year old Daily Driver is not without flaws. The A/C needs recharging. The front Driveshaft needs the CV Joint refreshed. Window tint is starting to bubble in places and the carpet by the drivers heel is split. There is also some paint chipping in and around the wheel wells, especially the rear ones as the roads around here are graveled.  These are all minor issues which aren't readily visible in the photos but you need to be aware of.

I've just got too many other important projects going to make a full restoration of this beauty a priority, but don't let that stop you from doing so.

Jay Leno sees how the other half lives with CHP cop cars new and old

Mon, 01 Jul 2013

Comedian Jay Leno is changing gears from driving fast cars to checking out some of the police cruisers that regularly chase down and dish out punishment to those fast cars. In this episode of Jay Leno's Garage, we get the lowdown on the modifications made to the Ford Explorer for the Interceptor package (which looks pretty tough in its California Highway Patrol livery).
The new Ford is cool, but cooler still are the pack of classic CHP cars that Jay has along for the episode. A 1982 Mustang, 1966 Dodge Polara, 1970 Mercury Monterey and 2000 Crown Victoria are all in the shop. Better still, Jay lays out an argument for ones of the classic cruisers as the best cop car of all time. Get your guesses in now, and then scroll down to watch and learn.
