1975 Ford Bronco Ranger, 8860 Original Miles!!! Original Paint And Interior!!! on 2040-cars
Sheridan, Wyoming, United States
1975 Ford Bronco Ranger ORIGINAL PAINT & INTERIOR 8,860 ORIGINAL MILES What a beauty!!! I thought I was having a dream when I came across this pretty little truck! Yes, the miles are original, but unfortunately if you want documentation, like a window sticker or oil change receipts or whatever else... I don't have that. I do have a clear title with documented miles on the title. I did take it to a fellow that knows vintage cars and trucks inside and out and the only part of the truck that has been repainted is the front passenger fender. It has a base/clear on it where the original paint is enamel. The interior is absolutely beautiful and all original. It is free from any rips, tears or stains... which it should be with as little use as it has seen. The trans shifts smooth and the engine starts right up! I encourage anyone that would like to come see the truck and take it for a test drive to do so. Please feel free to call me with any questions or to request more pics. 307.752.6033. Also, this truck has been stored indoors its whole life. It has not been exposed to any moisture or humid states...hence the NO RUST!!! ONE MORE THING....IF YOU ARE GOING TO BID, PLEEEEAAAASSSSEEE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR MONEY IN PLACE AND ARE PREPARED TO PART WITH IT. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO INSPECT THE TRUCK, PLEASE DO SO BEFORE THE AUCTION ENDS! HAPPY BIDDING!! |

Ford Mondeo with 1.5-liter EcoBoost debuts in China
Sat, 20 Apr 2013Does the car above, posing fancifully in white, look familiar? Well, it should. Although it wears Mondeo badges in the form you see above for the Chinese market - as it does in Europe - the car is basically the same thing sold in the US as the Ford Fusion. Of course, it's what's under that shapely skin that counts.
Ford has chosen the Shanghai Motor Show as the venue with which to unveil its 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. We'd heard about the engine before, but now we have a few performance estimates to share: 133 kW of power (about 178 horsepower) and 240 Nm of torque (about 177 pound-feet).
Those numbers pretty much confirm previous rumors indicating about 177 in each category, and it's right on par with what Ford's own 1.6-liter EcoBoost produces. Ford is claiming best-in-class fuel economy as well, but no specific figures have yet been provided. In any case, we'll surely have all the data soon enough, as the 1.5-liter mill is destined for the US Fusion in 2014.
Ford Fusion production scaled back just 3 months after it was accelerated
Mon, 02 Dec 2013Three months after kicking off production of the Ford Fusion at its Flat Rock, MI factory, Ford Motor Company is taking steps to trim output in the face of heavily discounted competition from Toyota and a growing supply of vehicles.
The addition of Fusion production in Flat Rock - which also builds the Mustang - was meant to be what pushed the handsome mid-sizer past its arch-nemesis, the Toyota Camry. An extra facility building Fusions was also meant to curb the growing demand for Ford's highly profitable sedan.
But with word that Flat Rock would take "approximately" one extra week off for the holidays combined with an 88-day supply of Fusions - reportedly due in no small part to what Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas called "aggressive discounting of the Camry" - some analysts are now beginning to wonder if Ford may have overextended itself by adding a second Fusion facility to the mix.
Rowan Atkinson crashes at Goodwood Revival
Sun, 14 Sep 2014To quote Harry Hogge (played by Robert Duvall) in Days of Thunder, "rubbin, son, is racin'." That can mean some unfortunate damage to high-end racing machinery, which may be repaired easily enough in stock car racing, but when it comes to vintage racing, the stakes can be that much higher. And yet incidents do occur, like at this weekend's Goodwood Revival.
Among the many competitors taking part in the retro racing event in England was none other than Rowan Atkinson, the actor perhaps best known for playing Mr. Bean. Driving a classic Ford Falcon Sprint in the Shelby Cup event, Atkinson (pictured above at the 2012 revival) reportedly crashed head-on into another car on track.
According to reports, the two cars up spun out. The driver in between managed to avoid a pile-up, but Atkinson couldn't steer clear and hit the obstructing vehicle. Fortunately Rowan walked away unscathed (and, we imagine, in a humorous manner), but while we don't know how extensive the damage was to the Falcon, it was enough to take it out of the race.
