1968 Ford Bronco 4x4 Barn Find! 289 V-8 Automatic on 2040-cars
Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States
|
This is a very rare "Barn find" Ford Bronco. With the original 289 V-8 engine and only 80,000 actual miles, this is well worth the restoration. Had it appraised locally and they suggested a selling price of 12k to 13.5k in its current condition. I don't have the time to do the restoration so decided to post it here. A great truck for the Ford Bronco enthusiast. The body does have some rust and a few dents. Other than that, it is just a bare bones vehicle. It does come with the plow mount and a straight blade hydro-turn plow blade. I have posted many pictures for your review. Any questions regarding this vehicle can be emailed to rdehoog77@gmail.com or call 616-291-3081
NOTE: This vehicle is being listed on other online publications. We reserve the right to pull this ad without notice prior to auction end if vehicle sells before auction end. Not interested in any trades. Winning bidder must post a $500 deposit via Paypal and the balance due at time of pickup. Method of payment is cash only. Will not ship this vehicle, must be picked up with a trailer. |

Ford Explorer Jackson Pollock Edition results in trip to hospital
Tue, 02 Jul 2013Among the many useful pieces of driving advice we've taken to heart over the years, "Safely secure all cargo" is etched pretty high on our personal stone tablets. We've had a couple of frustrating moments over the years (numerous wonky cupholders and too-tall lidded cups; a radar detector that released its suction cups and dashed itself below the dashboard, etc.), but never anything like the scene above.
These photos above come courtesy of the Washington State Patrol, and they show the unfortunate aftermath of a driver, his dog, and his Ford Explorer after it crashed near the town of Belfair last week. According to reports, the man was schlepping five-gallon containers of paint inside his vehicle when he was involved in an unexplained accident. It's not clear what triggered the crash, but the impromptu abstract painting covered the whole of the interior, including the driver and his faithful companion.
The man was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries, and his dog was cleaned and later taken to a humane society.

Hear the 2015 Mustang GT V8 roar for the first time
Wed, 26 Jun 2013Our combined knowledge of the 2015 Ford Mustang continues to deepen, as spy shooters have begun to compile video and audio of the upcoming sixth-generation car.
Case in point is this latest series of video clips, which not only gives us a great vantage point of the Mustang in motion, but also allows us to hear the Ford V8 engine and exhaust. After perusing the aural delights of this short video, which, admittedly, doesn't catch the Mustang GT at full song, we can at least say that the throaty exhaust isn't disappointing.
Chances are good that the 2015 Mustang GT will debut with some version of the current (and excellent) Coyote 5.0-liter V8 engine, though we're unclear as to whether or not the motor has been massaged for its next-gen debut, or what may have been done to exhaust plumbing. At this point, we're just happy to hear the pony run. Scroll below to hear for yourself.
