I am currently selling my 2012 Fiat 500. The car has just gotten an exterior and interior detail job at Ziebart ($400.00) and looks amazing!

This has always been a smoke-free car. There are absolutely no mechanical problems. The car also has upgraded, premium wheels that the dealer put on!

Shipping will be conducted locally if within 250 miles (I will drive it to you). If between 250 and 500 miles, I will meet halfway. If farther than 500 miles, the buyer will coordinate shipping in a convenient and timely manner.

Payment can be handled though money order, certified check, PayPal, or cash- dependent on the method convenient to both parties.

I am the only owner of this vehicle. I bought it in August of 2012 because I thought I would be doing much more driving than I currently do (it gets amazing gas mileage- over 30mpg city!). Unfortunately I will be moving this summer and I will have no need for it. It has been a great car, even in the harsh winters of Syracuse! It has front wheel drive and it very heavy so it is surprisingly GREAT in the snow! I park it in a parking garage daily so the only exposure to the weather it has gotten has been when I take it out of the garage to drive it.

It has low miles for a 2012; I have only put about 10,000 miles a year on it, and these are mostly highway miles (driving to and from Albany, NY and driving to and from Quantico, VA).

I take very good care of my car. The entire interior floor is lined with vinyl mats, and the back seat has a canvass cover on it. I have no children, so no spills, stains, or anything like that. It has gotten all regularly scheduled maintenance, is always serviced at a qualified Chrysler/Fiat dealership (Romano Chrysler in Syracuse and Armory Chrysler/Fiat in Albany), it gets washed at least once every three weeks, it gets a full interior/exterior detail every spring and fall, and I have never “red-lined”, “raced”, or driven it “hard”.

I also got this car because it is very safe (see specifics below). It is ranked as the safest car in its class and it got a 5-Star side crash test rating!

I am currently asking much under what is owed. I will however consider other reasonable offers (no offers to trade please).

Very low miles for a 2012! The car has a sharp Azurro (Blue) exterior and a super clean Ivory Interior interior! It gets great fuel economy with over 38 MPG on the highway!

I am also willing to provide a Car-Fax report if requested.

Fiat Chrysler says it did not know about Marchionne's illness

Fri, Jul 27 2018

ZURICH/MILAN — Fiat Chrysler said it knew nothing about the medical condition of Sergio Marchionne after a Swiss hospital said on Thursday it had been treating the deceased chief executive for more than a year. "Due to medical privacy, the company had no knowledge of the facts relating to Mr. Marchionne's health," a Fiat Chrysler spokesman said. Questions have been raised about how long Marchionne, who died on Wednesday, was ill and how much the company knew before it made the situation public. Marchionne rescued Fiat and Chrysler from bankruptcy after taking the wheel of the Italian carmaker in 2004 and he multiplied Fiat's value 11 times through 14 years of canny dealmaking. He was due to step down at FCA in April next year. "The company was made aware that Mr. Marchionne had undergone shoulder surgery and released a statement about this," the spokesperson said. "On Friday, July 20, the company was made aware with no detail by Mr. Marchionne's family of the serious deterioration in Mr. Marchionne's condition and that as a result he would be unable to return to work. The company promptly took and announced the appropriate action the following day." Asked whether the scope of the statement included the board and the chairman, the company declined to comment. In emailed comments, Marchionne's family confirmed the companies had not been aware of his health conditions. "At the end of last week FCA was made aware Sergio Marchionne would no longer be able to return to work without mentioning any further details," the family said. The announcement of the death of Marchionne, 66, one of the auto industry's most tenacious and respected CEOs, drew tributes from rivals and tears from his closest colleagues on Wednesday. University Hospital Zurich said earlier on Thursday Marchionne had been treated for a serious illness for more than a year before his death. Marchionne had fallen gravely ill after what the company had described as shoulder surgery at a Zurich hospital. He was replaced as chief executive last weekend after Fiat Chrysler (FCA) said his condition had worsened. "Mr. Sergio Marchionne was a patient at USZ. Due to serious illness, he had been the recipient of recurring treatment for more than a year," the hospital said in a statement. "Although all the options offered by cutting-edge medicine were utilized, Mr.

Fiat taps Mitsubishi for European pickup

Wed, 04 Jun 2014

Mitsubishi is often derided in the US for its relatively boring lineup, Lancer Evolution aside, but the company is on the upswing worldwide, recently posting record global operating profits. The Japanese automaker may get a further boost in the near future from a rumored pickup truck deal with Fiat.
According to insider sources speaking to Automotive News Europe, Mitsubishi would reportedly build a variant of its widely respected L200 pickup truck for the Fiat Professional brand in Europe and Latin America starting in 2016. The L200 is larger than the Fiat Strada front-wheel-drive pickup already available in those markets, and it's available in rear- and four-wheel-drive configurations. The idea of adding a midsize truck to the commercial lineup was in the Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles five-year plan, but it didn't include any mention of a partnership to build it.
At first blush, the Mitsubishi agreement seems like an odd move, given that Fiat already owns pickup truck specialists Ram. However, according to ANE, the company had at one time planned to use a version of a new Dodge Dakota pickup for duty in Europe and Latin America, but the model never came to fruition.

Audi rumored to buy Alfa Romeo, officials deny it

Thu, 28 Mar 2013

For more than two years, Volkswagen has been making public statements about its willingness to buy Alfa Romeo and quadruple the Italian brand's sales, and for just as long, Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne has replied with some version of "Mr. Piëch, drop it." According to a report in Ward's Auto, all that jousting might be over: it claims that sources close to both Marchionne and Audi CEO Rupert Stadler admit that the two are in talks for Audi to buy not just Alfa Romeo, but a production plant in Italy. In fact, a final deal could possibly include partsmaker Magnetti Marelli.
Against that backdrop, a report by German news weekly Stern quotes a Fiat spokesmen as saying it doesn't comment on rumors and an Audi rep has said flatly that "There is no substance in the news." If a sale is being arranged, the timing would seem to point to how eager Fiat is to raise cash to complete its major initiatives. Even though Alfa Romeo continues to delay its return to the US, it just showed off the production version of the 4C at the Geneva Motor Show (shown above) and said that preferred Fiat dealerships here would get them. Then there's Alfa's recently concluded deal with Mazda to develop a roadster based on the next generation MX-5 Miata - a deal that would seem to help both the Italian and Japanese brands.
The monetary issues are troublesome, though. Fiat is taking a beating in the European market and its weak-kneed balance sheet is delaying gotta-have-it products like the Jeep Cherokee. Fiat has been talking to banks about getting money to buy the rest of Chrysler and those financial institutions have also raised issues about debt and cash reserves, and the nasty game of chess Fiat is playing with the United Auto Workers (and now the court system about the portion of Chrysler it doesn't own) could end up blowing another hole in Marchionne's plans. It is possible that this could finally have convinced Fiat to at least see how serious Audi's parent company, Volkswagen, is about buying Alfa Romeo. Or it could be just another rumor.
