Ferrari F430 Spider 18,509 Miles Service History Clean Carfax - 2 Owners Exceptional Example of the F430 Wonderful, well kept, and regularly serviced example of the F430 Spider that has been owned by the same person for the last five years. This F430 has been serviced at the local Ferrari dealership and is kept at all times in a heated garage. There have been less than 3,000 miles of use over the last 18 months and the car reflects great care and maintenance. The Michelin tires and brakes have less then 2,800 miles of use and the interior and exterior of this car is in excellent condition. The beautiful black leather interior displays only minimal wear around the plastic buttons which is common with these cars. The leather seats and carpets are near flawless with no visible damage or significant wear. Mechanically this F430 is very tight and has been adult owned and driven. There are no current issues with any mechanical items and the car requires no immediate repair or servicing. The transmission is tight and responds as designed, the exhaust is in excellent condition, there are no issues associated with the electronics, and the car performs as you would expect a F430 to respond. The soft top and motor operates as designed with no electrical or operational issues. The top itself is free of any damage with only minor fraying at a single stitch beside the seal of the passenger window. The body reflects excellent care with only minor scratches under the front spoiler from the access driveway. The paint is gorgeous and has only been detailed by those understanding of the demands of black paint. The car does have the built in F40 Radar Detection system. Former Dolphin Richie Incognito takes a bat to his own Ferrari [w/video]
Thu, 27 Feb 2014Richie Incognito, the former Miami Dolphin's offensive lineman, reportedly vandalized his own new Ferrari FF with a baseball bat on Wednesday, in a story that is just the latest bizarre event to befall the professional football player.
Initial reports indicated that Incognito's car was vandalized and, weirdly, covered in t-shirts bearing the player's name. Following those reports, though, Incognito then told police that he attacked the black FF, although we're still unsure as of why.
Incognito has been in the news of late, following reports from the Miami Dolphins regarding his hazing of teammate Jonathan Martin. As for the Ferrari, damage seems rather light considering it was attacked with a bat by a 320-pound NFL offensive lineman. There are some dings and dents in the hood, and there's a piece of bat lodged in the grille, but beyond that, it looks like this FF will live to drive another day. Glickenhaus confirms new sports car in development for 2015 Geneva reveal
Tue, 19 Mar 2013James Glickenhaus and his Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus team will have a new model ready for the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. Codenamed the P33, not many details are known about the car, but the post in FerrariChat.com says that it will be much smaller than the Glickenhaus P 4/5 (shown above) with a size closer to the Dino Competizone.
The limited available information about the car indicates that the P33 will be crafted from carbon fiber, giving it a 1,600-pound curb weight, with a body that will have a "three-wing design." Planned as a one-off model, the P33 will be powered by a twin-turbo V6 putting out close to 500 horsepower.
Ferrari 458 Speciale Spider will make Paris debut
Wed, 17 Sep 2014The news out of Ferrari is coming nearly as fast as its wonderful sports cars, as of late, with CEO Luca di Montezemolo stepping down and a special model for America upcoming. Now, it's looking increasingly likely that the 458 Speciale Spider is making its world debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in early October, confirming earlier rumors.
Di Montezemolo had already confirmed that the Prancing Horse would unveil a new car in Paris, but exactly which model it would be had been a mystery. However, an unnamed Ferrari insider has recently confirmed to 4WheelNews that it would be the droptop Speciale.
As the name suggests, the special model takes the sonorous 4.5-liter V8 engine from the 458 Speciale with 597 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque and drops it into the convertible hardtop from the Spider. According to the source, the special Ferrari is also getting new wheels, stripes and seats, but the folding top might mean losing the coupe's transparent engine cover.
