This F430 is a 2-owner Ferrari that has been meticulously maintained and onlyserviced by certified Ferrari mechanics / Ferrari dealers. The car has brand newupgraded headers, fresh annual service on 7/15/17 and Pirelli tires with lessthan 1,000 miles of wear. Clutch is also low miles, new clutch at ~14,000mi. Ichose the F430 because of the sound. It's significantly more aggressivesounding than the newer 8-cyl Ferraris. The car is in perfect condition, lowmiles and ALWAYS covered/garage stored. I decided to go from the CD-changersetup to the phone adapter for music/stereo. If you prefer the CD-changer setup,I will remove the adapter and re-connect the CD-changer cable for you prior totransport. Being a leased vehicle, there are some advantages for the buyer. There are two financing options: 1- you purchase the lease from FerrariFinancial and pay a cap reduction fee to me personally.2- you write one check toFerrari Financial and one check to me personally in the amount of the remainderabove the lease pay-off amount. This amount changes regularly so please contactme with specific lease questions and I will be happy to work with you andFerrari to make the transition a smooth one. If you purchase the lease (leasetransfer), the monthly payment is $1,275. This means if you're approved byFerrari Financial, you will only write one check to me personally for the amountabove the lease takeover/payoff amount. I have a closed-container styletransport service that I have enjoyed working with for service trips/show trips. He is excellent and very careful. He regularly ships Ferrari, and others. I have an arrangement with this transport service and ifyou're willing to use him, I am happy to contact him on your behalf orprovide your contact information to him to reduce transport cost. Please contactme with questions. Serious inquiries only please.

2020 Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo arrives with new aero, same great Italian looks

Mon, Oct 28 2019

The new Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo race car is here. And though it’s not a whole lot different than the 488 that debuted a few years back, Ferrari has a comprehensive round of changes coming its way for the 2020 racing season.  To start, the 488 retains its name. Ferrari released the F8 Tributo not too long ago, but the race car isnÂ’t changing along with the updated road car. Ferrari says the lionÂ’s share of work for this new 488 GT3 Evo is all in the aero. It spent over 18,000 hours performing simulations and wind tunnel testing to develop a new front end design. Now, the 488 has a smaller frontal section under the headlights, which allowed engineers to fit a pair of flicks to the front bumper. A redesigned splitter complements the new front bumper. The door shape has changed for better airflow efficiency, and the vents on top of the rear wing are larger than before. Ferrari says that all of this results in a more aerodynamic car that produces even more downforce than before. The wheelbase is slightly longer than last year (Ferrari doesnÂ’t say by how much). This was done to reduce tire wear and facilitate the carÂ’s transformation from GT3 to GTE. Ferrari says it focused on reducing weight, but it didnÂ’t say by how much. This allows the team to better place the ballast forced upon it from Balance of Performance rules. Some re-tuning of electronic systems was done. Traction control, ABS and the engine management system were all given a refresh in this car. Ferrari claims the engine software update improves reliability and “guarantees smoother, more precise torque delivery." Lastly, if youÂ’re racing with an older 488, thereÂ’s no need to fret. Ferrari says all these upgrades can be applied to the older car to bring it up to date. Chevy also recently debuted the C8.R race car, the mid-engine Corvette that will meet the 488 on the battlefield.

Ferrari F12 Berlinetta takes home 2014 Robb Report Car of the Year [w/video]

Tue, 25 Mar 2014

In what is being called an "unprecedented landslide decision," those who have the right to cast votes have anointed the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta as the 2014 Robb Report Car of the Year. Standout features that have helped the Ferrari earn such a runaway victory include its 0-60 blast of 3.1 seconds, its 211-mile-per-hour top speed and the exhaust note of its 731-horsepower V12 engine.
After being driven by a team of journalists and 100 or so members of the private Robb Report Club, the grand tourer beat out a total of 13 contenders that included the Audi R8 V10 Plus, Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster, Aston Martin Vanquish Volante, Bentley Continental Flying Spur, Jaguar F-Type V8 S, Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe, Maserati Quattroporte GTS and Dodge SRT Viper GTS.
This is the 21st year that Robb Report has selected a Car of the Year. Scroll down below for the official announcement and video, and feel free to read more about the F12 Berlinetta and some of its worthwhile competitors over at Robb Report.

The Monaco Grand Prix clearly highlights Ferrari's team orders

Mon, May 29 2017

Sebastian Vettel stretched his championship lead over Lewis Hamilton to 25 points on Sunday after becoming the first Ferrari driver since Michael Schumacher in 2001 to win Formula One's showcase Monaco Grand Prix. Teammate Kimi Raikkonen, on pole for the first time in nine years, lost out in the pitstops but secured a Ferrari one-two with Hamilton finishing seventh for Mercedes after starting 13th. The German celebrated as jubilantly as his seven times champion compatriot would have done, whooping over the radio and beaming from the podium as mechanics sang the Italian national anthem. "It's obviously a great day for the team... great to get the points, great to get the win," said Vettel. As with Schumacher in his pomp there was also a distinct whiff of 'team orders', with Raikkonen pitting first and Vettel staying out for a further five laps in a move that worked in his favor. Vettel's 45th career win was the German's third in six races but there was plenty of sympathy for Raikkonen, who last won with Lotus in 2013. The Finn looked far from happy on the podium, staring fixedly ahead and taking gulps of the Champagne as Vettel sprayed his. "It's still second place but it doesn't feel awful good," he said. "It's how it goes sometimes." "I know how it feels, it's not a good feeling," reigning champion Nico Rosberg, who retired at the end of last year after years of battling Hamilton at Mercedes, consoled him as he conducted the post-race interviews on the finish straight. Australian Daniel Ricciardo took his second successive podium with third place for Red Bull. MINIMAL OVERTAKING In a race with plenty of sunshine and minimal overtaking, late crashes ensured the safety car made its traditional Monaco appearance. While Raikkonen led for the first 34 laps, the writing was on the wall at the pitstops with a consensus emerging already before the start that Ferrari would favor the championship leader. "It was a very tense race. I knew that (staying out) was the chance to win and I was able to use that window and come out ahead. After that I was able to control the gap behind," said Vettel. What had been a processional race, with the wider new cars making overtaking more difficult, turned into sudden drama with a collision between Jenson Button's McLaren and Pascal Wehrlein's Sauber at the tunnel entrance.
