1992 Dodge Stealth R/t Turbo Hatchback 2-door 3.0l on 2040-cars
Provo, Utah, United States
Youtube Video- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aslsIui2piA This if for my 1992 Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo AWD , it has an original 123,500 miles on it, ( forest green in color ) we just replaced the transmission with one that came out of a 91 model that had only 80K on it, also just replaced both inner tie rod ends, one outer tie rod end, valve cover gasket, passenger front hub assembly, driver side rear bearings replaced, timing belt is newer but do not know exact mileage of when it was replaced ( video shows inspection of it ) I would advise replacement or rebuilding of the turbos because after review by dealership mechanics , they think one of the turbo seals is leaking ( not sure which one ) however both turbos are working and do perform. This is a non-smokers car! I rate the paint job to be in 5 of 10 condition due to many rock chip marks and the top of car and across top of hatch and on rear spoiler the clearcoat has come off but the paint remains, all wheel wells are pretty much free of any heavy rust, yet some surface rust may be present, underside of car in excellent condition and only minor surface rust ( not heavy ). only selling because after acquiring car and having a lot of work done to it , I realized I am not comfortable with the amount of speed acceleration ( I am former truck driver and not used to the rapid acceleration and take off as well as sitting that low to the ground ( call me old )) . we have done a great review of this car and posted the video on youtube so you can see the exact car you are bidding on, buyer is responsible for pick up of this vehicle and the costs associated with transportation to their location of preference. winning bidder is responsible for 500.00 deposit ( through paypal ) within 48 hours of auction end and full remaining payment within 7 days of auction end by way of wire transfer to our bank account. once car is paid for completely the title will be overnighted to you. we are usually available 24/7 for pick up of the car . if you have any questions about this car please call Jared at 801-787-6222 . |

Chrysler set to make $266M-investment into 8-speed transmission production
Wed, Dec 10 2014Chrysler will shortly make a significant $266-million investment into its Kokomo, IN transmission factory in a bid to expand production of its eight-speed automatic transmissions. The gearboxes, which are built under license from Germany's ZF Friedrichshafen, have been well received by customers and critics, and according to an SEC filing obtained by Automotive News, the transmissions will eventually find their way to all of Chrysler's rear-drive offerings (Viper and heavy-duty Ram models, aside). According to AN, a Chrysler spokesman says the investment has not been confirmed, but once it is, it'll mark the company's latest in a growing line of investments at the facility. Chrysler has poured $1.5 billion into Kokomo since 2009.
2018 Dodge Challenger GT Drivers' Notes Review | The right car for the season
Fri, Feb 9 2018Associate Editor Joel Stocksdale: Dodge uses the Challenger GT trim to denote its V6 all-wheel-drive model, but it seems apt for reasons besides that. The Challenger, even with a V6, is an excellent, affordable American grand tourer. It's still extremely stylish, despite barely changing looks since Dodge introduced it for the 2008 model year. The solid gray on this one was particularly attractive. It also seemed appropriate considering the Challenger's battleship size. This thing is truly massive. That's beneficial in the sense that it has an enormous trunk (perfect for touring), but not so much for maneuvering. But thankfully, it's easy to spot the corners, which helps a lot. The Challenger GT is a pretty able handler, too. It feels composed in corners, not too heavy, only mild body roll, and steering that weights up very naturally. The ride is relatively comfortable. It takes the edge off of most pavement imperfections, but you feel more than you might expect. So the Dodge Challenger GT has the style, space, and a decent balance of sportiness and comfort — which just leaves one thing left to address, the powertrain. And as it turns out, the V6 actually works quite nicely in the big Dodge. Under full throttle, you get an angry, throaty honk from the intake that, while not as smooth and classic as a V8, is still fairly satisfying. It also has more than adequate acceleration, if not exhilarating. It's a combo that makes not only a fun affordable GT car, but just a solid commuter with an extra dose of style. The only caveat is that if you need something more truly sporty, you may still want to look at a Camaro or Mustang. Associate Editor Reese Counts: I spent the latter half of last week in Idaho and Wyoming driving a pretty sweet Nissan 370Z in the snow. That car was equipped with tracks and skis and allowed me to do some pretty dumb things with few repercussions, though it was one of the loudest and most uncomfortable cars I've ever driven. Coming home to Detroit and a Destroyer Grey Challenger GT was a very nice change of pace. The thing is, this car is still plenty capable in the snow. I like the Challenger quite a bit, especially in the bonkers Hellcat and Demon guise. But not everyone needs a 700-plus horsepower brute that guzzles gas with a nearly unequalled thirst. The Challenger GT checks a lot of boxes. It looks good, it's comfortable, roomy and thanks to all-wheel drive, genuinely usable year round.
2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat with '600-plus horsepower' officially unveiled [w/video]
Tue, 20 May 2014Dodge has officially unveiled the most powerful vehicle to ever wear the Challenger name - the SRT Hellcat - complete with over 600 horsepower courtesy of a supercharged, 6.2-liter Hemi V8. It will be offered alongside the 485-hp Challenger SRT.
The new, force-induced V8 isn't just the most powerful ever fitted to the Challenger, it's the most powerful eight-cylinder Chrysler Group has ever built. Power figures aren't finalized, so expect to see "over 600 hp" bandied about quite a lot. That fury will be channeled through either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic. Yes, over 600 ponies through an eight-speed auto. So far, the only vehicle we know of that delivers more output through that many gears is the as-yet untested Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Sadly, we don't have performance metrics just yet, although if this thing can't crack four seconds to 60 miles per hour, we'll be pretty surprised.
As is the theme nowadays, the 2015 Challenger SRT features a number of driving modes, governing power output, shift speeds for the 8AT, steering effort, traction control settings and suspension settings. There are three pre-programmed options - Default, Sport and Track - and a Custom mode that allows drivers to mix and match to their heart's content.
